IPhone :: Consulting The Calendar While On A Call?
Apr 30, 2012
Is it possible to look at the calendar while on a call? I was speaking to a friend on the phone, and we wanted to make arrangements to meet, and I tried to put her on hold while I consulted the calendar, but I couldn't do it.
Since I upgraded to IOS5.1 I can no longer click to call from emails or Calendar. I used to do this all the time. The calendar recognizes and underlines phone numbers but clicking them doesn't do anything.
I've upgraded my 9700 to OS-6 from OS-5.When I was on OS-5 and on a call I could press Menu and scroll down the list until I got to Calendar, click and it opened the Calendar so I could check appointments while still on a call, this was pretty handy and I regarded it as essential to making my day easier to manage.Since upgrading to OS-6 I can't find how to access Calendar while engaged on a call probably something simple.
Android platform after using palm, windows mobile, blackberry. In all of those platforms I was able to view my calendar while I was on a phone call. Android will only give me the option to view my contacts or write a memo while on a call. Is there a way to switch between screens and applications while on a call in SGSII?
Was this feature removed from calendar events? I use it frequently and it doesn't always automatically pick up the number+meeting code from the appointment but is generally pretty good. So the last few call it wasn't working and I decided to try and add it manually but can't enter it. Is this a feature that isn't included in the Motorola software or was it removed from JB?
The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting). Is it possible to disable that weird sound?
I recently traveled overseas and had all my calendar items show on my iPhone as in the new locations time (ie, they moved X hours so wrong, but consistent). So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â
When I returned home, my Calendar on my MacBook reverted to normal (ie, all appointments went to the correct, original time) but the iOS Calendar has somehow locked into the other time zone that I visited for a week or so. How can I get all the appointments on my iPhone to show correctly without changing or losing any of them.
I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.
Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.
If an outside user sends me a calendar invite from their Iphone (my wife), it only adds event to my iphone, won't sync back to my exchange server, and ultimately my PC.
There are two different calendars in my phone, and would make life much easier if all events would sync within one calendar, and ultimately back to my exchange server.
I tried to sync up the calendar between my calendar and the gmail calendar. Since the sync -up my normal calendar does not open saying there is a process error. Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.
I am new to apple products and have purchase an iPhone and an iPad. I have figured out how to work with my iPad calendar but don't know how to sync it to my iPhone,
Its an iphone 4s and a mac book with snow lepard.I am putting all the events on my calandar through my iphone but they don't appear in ical when I sync via itunes.
I want to sync my icloud calendar with my iphone calendar. All of my entries from previous months are on my icloud calendar but not my iphone. How do I get them back on there? I have corrected my settings for future entries (I think/hope) but want to put the old stuff back on.
ever since i upgraded to lion and icloud--the events i enter into my phone never make it to my mac and vice versa. i feel like i've turned everything on through settings on both devices but things aren't travelling back and forth at all. they ARE, however, syncing in itunes and contacts and email. so everything but calender.
When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.
