I have tried everything to delete ALL music from my phone to start again.Â
I have made sure the music is not backed up to the cloud, I have shifted all purchased music from purchased folder in itunes to the library. I have unticked all music in my library and then deleted all music from my iphone. I have checked the only sync ticked music and clicked on APPLY. What do you know the music is still showing on my iphone. I have powered off and on my iphone.Â
Result = still music on my iphone that is not on my library, nor does it appear on itunes as existing on my iphone but it appear on the phone. Oh and I have switched off home sharing just in case this is impacting.Â
Purchased the guitar app on an iphone 3. App said recurring charges if not cancelled in one week. Before the week ended, I held down the home button until it shook and clicked on the "x". Also went into the settings to delete app. I keep getting charged for this app, every week and I need to get rid of it!Â
In trying desperately to sync Microsoft Office Outlook contacts for iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.1 with my PC, I noted on the sync page that I needed to download Microsoft Outlook on my phone. I did so, installed it, only to learn that it does not work for "msn email accounts".Â
So, now how do I delete this useless app from my iPhone 6?
How do I delete an entire album that i purchased on my iphone 5s? It won't let me and I want to make some room. Before i upgraded to this iOS 7, i could just swipe and delete an entire music album on my 4s which I did not upgrade to iOS 7 because I didn't want hassles. Once I upgraded my iPhone to the 5s, Ihad no choice and now I'm stuck. I tried deleting all the songs off the album hoping that would work, but I'm stuck with one song and it won't even give me an option to delete the last song.
I cannot delete purchased tunes off my iphone 4s. I do not have imatch and I disabled the cloud from my phone. I use 2 different computers and I think this causes problems (which has nver happened in the past). I am beyond frustrated because I downloaded these songs for a wedding and I hate the music! My phone won't let me swipe the songs to even give me the option to hit delete. I believe they are all on the cloud, but I don't use the could and I have disabled "show all music" in my music settings. I even deleted all my songs from my storage and resynced my library with the computer that I didn't use to buy the songs with.Â
I've tried the standard steps; press and hold an app until it "wiggles", then press the black cross, but nothing happens. In fact, the phone freezes and the only way to stop all icons wiggling is to complete a reset (press and hold power and home button).
We have recently purchased the new I-pad, we have tried to sync our 2, 3gs phones w/ I-pad. Some Music shows up transparent in I-tunes and won't access. What must be done to access music?
Recently i had purchased a new Iphone 4s. When i plugged it in to my computer it deleted all my contacts, music etc & it replaced it with all my old information i had with my earlier iphone.
All my old music is now in the phone. The new purchased music i bought is still in "my music" but does not play, and does not sync to Itunes. Is there anyway to get it back? There has to be i bought $200 worth of music, and now it's not working.
I have purchased these 2 songs on my iPhone and now i want to put them into my library on my PC. But these 2 songs, which I have purchased resently, are showing up like this and i am unable to play them. As you can see, the color of the songs are more matt and gray, compared to the black test of the others. And notice the syncing icon on the left (it is not spinning)..? It is like if they are sort of inactive songs in my library..
I purchased an album in the iTunes Store app on my iPhone 6. When I go to the album in the iTunes Store app, it says "Purchased" at the top, and all 29 songs have a "Play" button, and I can indeed play them from there.Â
In the Music App, the album shows up, and it says there are 29 tracks. But when I tap on the album to get the track list, I see only one track. "Show All Music" in the Settings app is turned on.Â
How do I get the other 28 tracks to show up in the Music app?Â
I keep getting a message that says I need to save my purchased music in my library before I do an update. I don't purchase much music at all. How do I do this? My daughter has put music in my itunes via home sharing is this the music I need to save? The last time I did an update all those songs were gone from my device.
"itunes cannot add any songs to the iphone because no songs in the playlist. recently added could be found.". which i have bought several and still not downloading.also when i try to sync music manually it gives me this message are you sure you want to sync music? All existing content on the iphone will be removed and replaced with songs and playlists from your itunes library. please help maybe there i have some settings wrong.
I'm not sure when this started but I've been putting up with it for a while. Most of the time when my iPhone 4s (iOS 5.1) syncs with iTunes (always running the latest version on Win 7) either via USB or WiFi, the songs I didn't purchase from the iTunes store (i.e. ripped) disappear from my iPhone. I have to then uncheck the box to sync music in iTunes and then recheck it so it copies all 2500+ songs back to the iPhone. I probably have to do this 2 times a week and would turn off syncing if I didn't have a need, but I do need it. This happens far more often on USB than WiFi but it's driving me crazy. While working with Apple support to troubleshoot another issue, I completely removed and reinstalled all Apple software and reset content and settings on my iPhone in the past 3-4 months.
I have purchased music mostly from iTunes from my MacBook, a few times from my iPhone directly. When I like to share it in between, some music songs can not get from the Mac to the iPhone, even if I have approved the two to share music in between? I understand that you can share between up to 5 hardware devices owned by yourself.
I previously had the iphone 4 but yesterday I upgraded to the 4S. I got home and restore all the information from my phone into my itunes account. This way I could plug in my new phone and do a backup restore to get all the apps, contacts, music etc on my new phone. However, within the past two months I have purchased quite a bit of music on my phone through itunes. Since then I had not synced my phone to itunes so I did that yesterday when restoring it. When I plugged in the 4S and did the backup restore, I do not have the songs that I have purchased within the past two months on my phone or in my itunes account. How do I get these back?
I used to be able to download purchased music from Ovi Music direct onto my pc.Ovi Music will now not allow me to download the music onto my PC - the download button is active, but when I click to download, it shows an exclamation mark.
I have a iphone 4 (not S) and have purchased movies on it. Just some Pixar shorts. I want to move these purchases to my computer so they are backed up, in other words, sync the other way. I have my phone/itunes set to manually manage music and movies because my music library on my computer would be too big for the phone and I don't want all my music on my phone anyway. Problem is, I can't just drag the movies from my phone to my itunes when the phone is plugged in, and when I choose "sync movies" I get a warning box that says:Are you sure you want to sync movies? All existing songs, movies and TV shows on the iPhone "dorothy's iPhone" will be removed and replaced with movies from your iTunes library.
I want to avoid this so I don't have to take the time to reload particular songs/albums that I've already put on the phone. Isn't there a way to transfer purchases you've made on your phone onto your computer without losing everything that's already on your phone? Is there a way to sync only movies? One would think so if you just checked the box, but the words "all existing songs, movies, and TV shows" make me too nervous to check the box.
