Does anyone know a free software or program that can be downloaded and not purchased like TouchCopy to back up text messages?
I'm just looking to backup text message conversations I've had with one friend. I'm not looking to back up every text message i've received.

On my iPhone, I noticed that the "Other" file in iTunes had grown. I also remember hearing that "Other" was your app data (like Angry Birds high scores), Text messages/iMessages, and so on. I was wondering if it was possible to delete older Messages (any messages older then a month ago) and not the newer ones.

After always using iPhones I'm finally making the switch over to Android. I'm most likely going to get a LG G4 to replace my iPhone 6 Plus but my main issue is I'm unsure how I can transfer my data from my iPhone to the LG ?

Why does my 4S suddenly switch to text messages when it has been sending to the same person as imessages? I am connected to wifi and have no cell service where I am, so the text errors out. Can I force it to send as an imessage?

I had an iPhone. But then I got another phone. After my contract was finished I got my # transferred to my new phone. Now I've been noticing that when I txt people from my new phone , if they have an iPhone, their response is messaged to my iPhone as a iMessage (when connected to Wifi) and I don't get the txt on my new phone.

Notification of unsent message sometime hours late. the same thing happened after the last update. am I doing something wrong? i have a a very important text thread running and for security reasons I would like to e-mail the whole lot at once to myself as a backup. (I can do individual messages but the thread has got so long there are not enough hours in the day!) It is also not clear when a whole backup is done to the PC whether text threads are backed up as well.

I want to restore my backup from my old 3g to my 4s, however I have been using my 4s for a couple of weeks now and wondered if I restored the back up from my 3g through itunes, would this wipe off any new data that's on my 4s? Or is there a way I can restore the data without wiping off any new stuff such as pictures etc?

My hard drive on my iMac crashed. I used it to sync and back-up my iPhone 4s 64GB. Since all those back-ups are gone, will I have to back-up my iPhone 4s to icloud now.
