Has anyone else noticed this?Apple seems to have exchanged all pictures showing FaceTime with new ones that are blurry and pixelated.The first pic is from http://apple.com and the second one is the equivalent from http://apple.com/de where this change hasn't happened yet:The pictures have also been changed on the sub pages and basically everywhere FaceTime is shown.

I've been "practicing" a bit taking pics in random enviorement and I noticed every pic I take in low light is blurry. I cant set focus manually cause the screen is almost black, the pics come out nice except theyre blurry. I dont have alzheimers so my hand dont shake and I tried many settings. How to make them okayish ?

I spent 4.5/hours with customer service agents from Verizon to Motorola. They concluded I needed to exchange my brand new phone after a factory reset and several "cache and data clearings" did not work.
The new phone is doing the exact same thing. I thought I could just deal with the contacts being blurred, until I tried to upload a profile pic onto Skype & I couldn't make it out.
Factory reset does not work for this. Nor does clearing the cache/data.
For what it's worth, there are iPhone's without the dreaded antenna issue. I just exchanged mine at my local apple store and the new one is perfect. No matter what I do I can't get the signal to drop, even holding it tightly with two hands. The first one I had drop constantly. All I had to do was put one finger over the left side antenna and within seconds it would drop to searching.

If they will not refund it, at least exchange it to see if the other one works better since there are some who claim theirs work perfect. In your experience with Apple costumer service, would they understand what I'm saying and offer me another one?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just found out that you can’t copy more than 5 pics, when you want to paste them in mail like we used to do in all OS 3’s prior to 4.0. You can share more than 5, but it is now limited to 9, and if you share more than 5, your only option is to MMS the pics. Bottom line is you can only email 5 pics at a time.So, Apple had to purposely remove the option to copy more than 5 pics. I guess someone decided we really didn’t need that function.

I suspect it's why Facetime won't connect. How do I change the Apple ID associated with FaceTime? When it prompts "Sign in to FaceTime", it says "enter apple ID password for ... <old email>".

So I'm not sure what happened but my iPhone pics are horribly blurry and, well, really crappy.I tried cleaning the lens (even with glass cleaner) but the pics are still crappy. Is there an easy way to replace the little lens on the case?As an aside, the back of the iPhone has a little crack down near the charge/USB port so if this means replacing the whole back as one piece I just might do it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my iPhone to 5.1,when i hold the camera close to some text it is blurry and unreadable, and when i tap to focus the only thing the phone does is lighten or darken the screen depending where i tap. the front camera works fine if i hold it close to text and take the photo but that is pain. anyone know how to fix this? i can hold my wifes 3gs the same way and the text is readable.I have tried restoring as new and back up with no luck, and i have tried other camera apps and it is the same result.

I've recently had some problems when trying to post a photo on Instagram. It doesn't always happen, but is really frustrating when it does. I'll take a photo with my iPhone 5, edit it in an app (Aviary) to make it super crisp and bright. When I try to post it in Instagram it'll shift a bit and turn blurry.I've even tried with untouched photos and it does the same. I've also restarted the phone and deleted/reinstalled the app.

The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
