I have just purchased an iPhone 4. I have iOS 5.1 installed. I created an alarm for 5:45 am, set to go off Monday through Friday. It is off for Saturday and Sunday. Yet, this morning (Saturday) at 5:45, it went off.

I got my S6 for few days now but just yesterday I've noticed that I can't set up repeat alarm on specific days of week as every time after selecting them and getting back to main alarm screen option isn't saved.
View 8 Replies View RelatedFirst example, last night I changed my alarm from 7:00am to go off at 6:00am. I woke up at 6:50 without any alarm. Then in my scramble to get ready, my alarm goes off at 7:04am??? I'm completely baffled as to why this happened. This hasn't been my first problem with the alarm either. I've had times where my alarm just hasn't gone off at all and made me late for class. Everytime the night before, I'd make sure the volume was on max, and it wasn't on silent mode. This is a serious problem and if I had a job, I know I couldn't rely on my phone to go off at the proper time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAny ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.

- Alarm was set and was shown to be in use. Even the Icon in the start screen was shown
- Tried multiple times afterwards setting the existing alarm a few minutes forward. None of the attempts alarmed.
How I set the alarm is that I always edit the existing alarm, edit the time and push the alarm on.When I tried creating a new alarm (a few minutes forward), that ringed ok. But the existing alarm failed to ring

I am planning to buy my friend's recently purchased iPhone 4S. Since he was using it with his own AppleID for a month only, this 90 day limitation makes me wonder f I but it right now whether I could use it freely with my AppleID to be created new. I guess resetting it to factory settings and setting up as a new phone with a brand new AppleID should not cause any harm but I wanted to get expert opinion. I don't want to buy a phone and wait two more months to use it.
if this 90-day limitation goes away when I reset the device fully and set it up with new AppleID. I would expect no problem as none of the purchased apps/songs could be transferred from old account but still I am not sure and I need help.

I have calendars that sync to my computer and calendars that sync to my icloud, calendar entries that i have set to the icloud calendar disappear after 30 days. Is there somewhere I can change this setting? I like to search my phone to find the last time "something" happened, usually something that I track in the calendar. I can't find how to retrieve these missing items back to my phone.
