I recently e-mailed my IMEI No. ti AT&T for unlocking my iPhone 4 and I also got the comfirmation stating that I can unlock my iPhone through the procedure. However I was not able to unlock my iPhone then and it has been about a month now Would it be a problem if I go through the process now ? The process involves restoring the iPhone and I am afraid if it doesn't unlock the phone it will upgrade the baseband and I cannot get a Gevey SIM for 5.1.1 in India.
I just saw the torch at at&t store and I have to get it. The question is I live outside US and I need to get it unlocked. Now, I saw that at at&t store, they are selling the torch for 499 dollars without contract. I am sure this is locked. If I can get this phone (I know I need to get someone with at&t to go with me to buy it), I can unlock it. This is for sure, right?
I see that some sites are selling it for 599 and 699 dollars but I dont want to pay the extra amount if I can get it unlocked.
I've had my Xoom for 3 weeks now. It worked okay with no error messages until last week. Everytime I turn it on, it displays this message:The Process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please retry again.Forceclose Report?I have chosen Report and filled that out, but now just hit Forceclose and it resumes and I don't seem to have any problems.
I keep getting this error since the latest update." the process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. try again"it will pretty much pop up when ever, but especially when I try and go to my gallery or try and take a picture or video. It is also even stopping for from doing simple task like letting my alarm clock on my xperia.I have tried to repair my phone through the sony companion but it always comes up with an error with about quater of the way too go.
When I try to use applications such as the camera or music, I receive a screen saying Force Close, "process.android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly, try again" why this has occured and how to rectify?
Since getting the Atrix2 I have had no software issues or Forced Closes. This evening I woke the phone up, slid the Lock Bar to the right and here is what I get:The process com.motorola.process.system has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again,Force Close.Once I push "Force Close I can get the phone to function, however the same screen keeps coming up at random, also each time i slide the Lock Bar, I get the window or warning immediately. It happens consistently when the screen times out and you use the lock bar, slid to the right, and you instantly get the warning screen.I have also tried a few of the programs and when you access them i get the warning window. Anyone have any ideas as to what exactly is going on? No Downloads done today, just email, plume and some music.Ive done several Power Off/on cycles, It doesnt seem to want to go away?
I've recently moved from Orange to O2 and my iPhone 3GS doesn't recognise the new O2 SIM card. Orange told me that they would send me an unlock code from Apple a month ago. Talked to Orange today and they say I need to get it from O2 but O2 say that's not the case.
I got a new MacBook Pro several months ago.Up until now, I've always synched my iPhone up with my work computer (PC). My work PC has all of my backups currently on it (with apps, photos, contacts, etc), and I've never attempted connecting my iPhone to my MBP.I'd like to begin using my MBP as the main synching computer, as my MBP has all of my music on it (2000 or so songs). Problem is...my iPhone currently has no music on it...so I can't just backup my current iPhone on my MBP.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any insight on how to properly transition to the MBP being my main synching source? Is there a way to connect my iPhone...transfer everything on it to the MBP's iTunes (minus music), and then transfer songs to the iPhone?
what is the process to separate the two iphones (1. iphone 4) (2.iphone4S). for the contact list and the texting that both phones receive at the same time.
My iPhone backup takes around an hour! I'm only using like 6 gigs on it, and I don't know why it would take so long. I have heard tips on how to speed it up, but some said they didn't work on Macs (one in sig) or that they didn't work at all. I think I have all the apps on my iPhone on my MBP, so I don't see how that would be a problem (I got the computer recently and transferred all purchases). I heard the 'Disable Sending Reports to Apple' thing didn't work on Macs. So anyway can anyone share their tips on how to make it faster? I have lost backups before, so I really like to keep everything backed up since things can go wrong fairly easily with hacked iPhones. It's a 3G.

Ok, I have a unique situation and no one else seems to have ever had this problem. I currently have a iPhone 4s through Verizon. I had an iPhone 3Gs with AT&T up until the 4s came out. I just pulled my 3Gs out of my closet the other day and wanted to get some stuff off of it for nostalgic reasons but I ran into a wall. It wants to activate again. Well, considering I no longer have AT&T service there is no way to activate it. I've tried bypassing the activation screen multiple ways with no luck. I don't need to restore the phone for use, I just want what's on it, so I don't need advice on restoring it. I have no backup of the phone either. Just wondering if there is anyway around the activation block. I could see all the information just fine when I charged the phone the other day, but as soon as I went to go back it up with iTunes it tried to activate itself and that's where I am stuck.
Additional info:(If anyone really wants to know, my real issue is that I want to get the text messages off my old phone. The only way I've found to do thit is with a few different programs, the one I'm using is Decipher TextMessage. What the program requires to see the text messages, however, is an iTunes mobilesync backup. I cannot backup the phone if it is stuck in this activation limbo, unfortunately.
i have a app stuck in the downloading process it shows "waiting" and does not show what it is and is running my battery when i use the phone how do i fix this.
All processes seem to get automatically suspended after they've been around 10 minutes in the background. I'm using LimeChat and I get continuously disconnected. How do I fix this?Â
I have:
iPhone 6 16GB
iOS 8.1.1Â
I'm mostly on mobile connection, but it doesn't seem to make any difference with Wi-Fi.
I tried to upgrade my iPhone 6 from iOS 8.1 to 8.1.1 through iTunes, but the phone stuck when upgrading. What's on the screen of the cell phone now is the Apple icon and a process bar below with about 3% finished. The iTunes works fine, showing "updating iPhone software" and the process is stuck at about 30%.Â
Info: iPhone 6, iOS 8.1, stuck when upgrading to ios8.1.1
I am trying to update my iphone4 with the ios5. The prosess is starting, but it stop's after a while. Like it's some kind of bug. I have tried to update to the latest itunes. I also restarted my PC and phone.
My iPhone lost connection to the internet, so I shut it down, and restarted it.
The result was, that I now have to do a recovery, before I can use it.... I haven't done anything for wanting to do a recovery, but something must have crashed, resulting in the demand for a recovery.
Is there any way to access the pictures on the iPhone at this stage? I want to download my pictures, as the recovery process will delete all media files...
When I power on my iPhone it has to be connected to iTunes, and in iTunes the only option I have is to make a recovery.
Does anyone know how I can finish the upgrading process of some apps in my iPhone 4? I was installing new versions of the apps MapMyRun and Sebrae through Apple Store, but after days the upgrading status is still "installing".
What is the deal with the Iphone syncing on Itunes? This just started about 3 weeks ago and is really annoying. If it syncs up to 8 things, it gets stuck on the last one updating. Having to turn the **** phone off & one then unselect something so it only syncs 4 items then it works.
I received a mail from you about unlocking my iPhone ending in 7418 nine days ago. I did instructions which you gave me. My iPhone was unclocked. I was very happy about this. However, i had a problem. When i restored my iPhone, it was locked again.
I'm using iphone 3gs on firmware 5.1.1 I recently performed a restore. however, the recovery from backup process was interrupted with a message saying that " the back is not compatible or corrupted" I therefore, cant retrieve my data.
I was wondering if anyone knows what this app/process is/does? I decided to check my crash log one day and I saw a lot of crashes associated with this process. They are all "iphone [process ID number] has active assertions beyond permitted time". This only started happening since I updated my iphone 3Gs to 5.1.1. I did a clean restore 4 times now and these crashes keep coming up.
My iphone crashes randomly both when it is on, that when i try to restore it. in fact now i can't restore because the iphone (no itunes) crashes when the restore started. what is the problem? an hardware problem?
I could not start my Iphone 3GS, The home screen show the icon on itunes & USB cable. During restoring process it show the error number 28. What is the problem with this phone? The iphone is factory unlock & I have been using it since one & half year. I have updated the Operating system thrice. [url]...
