All processes seem to get automatically suspended after they've been around 10 minutes in the background. I'm using LimeChat and I get continuously disconnected. How do I fix this?Â

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince getting the Atrix2 I have had no software issues or Forced Closes.This evening I woke the phone up, slid the Lock Bar to the right and here is what I get:The process com.motorola.process.system has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again,Force Close.Once I push "Force Close I can get the phone to function, however the same screen keeps coming up at random, also each time i slide the Lock Bar, I get the window or warning immediately.It happens consistently when the screen times out and you use the lock bar, slid to the right, and you instantly get the warning screen.I have also tried a few of the programs and when you access them i get the warning window. View 4 Replies View RelatedMy new S5 keeps getting its display time out value reset to a value of "()", there is no numeric value between the parenthesis. I switch it back to 15 or 30 and seemingly randomly it gets changed. It happened just now after plugging it in to a charger.
Is there some way to see what changes it? Its getting super annoying, happens 2-3 times a day. I run very few apps... and most of those I ran on my old thunderbolt with no issues. Several I also run on my wifes new S5 but she has no problem with hers.
I got this phone for a relative and it arrived today. After setting it up, transferring contacts over and making it easy for her I'm stuck on this simple option. I've looked for over 30 minutes and searched all over using various keywords but I can't find a single answer. Where do you find the display timeout setting on this phone?! It defaults to something stupidly short like 10 seconds when it should be around 30 seconds at least. How fast do they think people read text messages? If I can't change this setting I don't think they'll want to keep the phone which is a shame as it looks quite nice in general.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi want to set the screen timeout like the way i had it on the original droid. while plugged in, the screen stays on, while unplugged, it only stays on for however long i have it set to. yes, i know how to set it, but i cant seem to find the option for plugged in and unplugged.also, another question. is there an app or widget i can download for free that is alot like the clock/alarm on the original droid, where is shows the weather and auto dims. the clock on the d4 is garbage.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a HTC one (4 days ago) and already exchanged the phone once do to a defect in the wifi & now I'm about to change the phone again due to the same issue.
The phone will connect to the internet via wifi, but only work for 5 minutes, then nothing. The phone shows that a wifi signal is still available & that it is connected, but if you try to surf the net or refesh emails/facebook/weather, nothing. A message then appears on the phone stating connection timeout and you have to turn wifi off, then on again, for another 5 mins connection.
So far I've tried..................
1.Different routers, at home/mobile broadband/work/friends - same issue.
2. Contacting HTC and using 'safe mode' whilst they talked to me - same issue.
3. Factory reset - same issue.
4. New phone, changed at a recognised shop - same issue.
Luckily enough I'm within my 7 day phone exchange with my phone provider, so the things going back & exchanging for a different brand...............
On a different note, my wife also got a new phone at the same time, HTC One Mini & this is working ideal.
I've had the G4 since it was launched and until now been very pleased. A couple of days ago it started to turn the screen on by itself every time it timed out or I pressed the lock button... Unless it's plugged into a charger. I've tried pulling the battery and uninstalling any recent apps I'd installed but to no avail. Annoyingly, by the time I got myself to carphone warehouse to get it sorted I was just outside my 28 days.

I cannot figure out how to get the lock screen to stop from turning off after 1 or 1..5 seconds. I hardly have time to use the fingerprint scanner because the screen turns off so quickly. I have tried turning off all power settings and have changed the timeouts everywhere else to 6 seconds to 1 minute but I cannot figure out how to extend the lockscreen timeout.

My work PC has all of my backups currently on it (with apps, photos, contacts, etc), and I've never attempted connecting my iPhone to my MBP.I'd like to begin using my MBP as the main synching computer, as my MBP has all of my music on it (2000 or so songs). Problem is...my iPhone currently has no music on it...so I can't just backup my current iPhone on my MBP.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any insight on how to properly transition to the MBP being my main synching source?Is there a way to connect my iPhone...transfer everything on it to the MBP's iTunes (minus music), and then transfer songs to the iPhone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently e-mailed my IMEI No. ti AT&T for unlocking my iPhone 4 and I also got the comfirmation stating that I can unlock my iPhone through the procedure.However I was not able to unlock my iPhone then and it has been about a month now Would it be a problem if I go through the process now ? The process involves restoring the iPhone and I am afraid if it doesn't unlock the phone it will upgrade the baseband and I cannot get a Gevey SIM for 5.1.1 in India.

From the way it appears the option to set the screen timeout to "never" on the AT&T version of the Lumia 920 is missing. Reports are that the option does exist in the Windows Phone 8.Why would this not be a user choice on the AT&T version of the 920?

I've done a couple of battery pulls and sent my service books but still happening. If I close my browser and re open it it will work again but maybe ten minutes later will happen several times. Anybody else have this issue and if so how did you fix it?
