I'm using iphone 3gs on firmware 5.1.1 I recently performed a restore. however, the recovery from backup process was interrupted with a message saying that " the back is not compatible or corrupted" I therefore, cant retrieve my data.

My iPhone lost connection to the internet, so I shut it down, and restarted it.
The result was, that I now have to do a recovery, before I can use it.... I haven't done anything for wanting to do a recovery, but something must have crashed, resulting in the demand for a recovery.
Is there any way to access the pictures on the iPhone at this stage? I want to download my pictures, as the recovery process will delete all media files...
When I power on my iPhone it has to be connected to iTunes, and in iTunes the only option I have is to make a recovery.

My 16GB 3GS is only about half full. Yet my phone has been connected here for 30+ minutes trying to sync and backup. I actually stopped the backup process with only about 10% on the progress bar after sitting there at 10% for at least 5+ minutes. Now it's continuing on with the sync process. You would think with USB 2.0 it would go faster than this. I also don't understand why it's having to update 157 songs in one of my playlists when those songs have not changed and were already on the phone.

My iPhone 3gs has been getting slower and slower over some time now. Sometimes it could take up to one minuet to lock the phone after pressing the button. Also my photos was unavailable from the iPhone, every time I tried to access the photos or an application tried to save a photo, the app crashed. So I decided that it might be an idea to take a backup start over on the phone. Recovery to factory settings seems to go fine, and efter I unlock the sim card for the first time, I am asked if I would like to recover from itunes, iCould or make a new phone. I select itunes and connect to my computer, it downloads all data to the phone, and begins to reboot. In the reboot, it freezes on the screen with the apple logo and the statusbar on approxemately 15 %.

my iphone 3g isnt getting past the apple logo. It just turns off after about 20 seconds. Is there any way to perform a backup of everything or access the system files while it is in recovery mode? Because i can get it in recovery mode successfully.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my N95 stolen (or lost it). Apparently, no problem, as I was already thinking on replacement and have sync'd backups both in my puter and the Ovi website via Ovi Suite.
The good news is I bought a N97... the bad news, it will take 10 days to be delivered.
The problem: untill then, I'll be using an old Samsung and was unable to export the backup to a standard format (.txt, .csv etc.) so as to upload it to the temporary phone.
I tried to sync with Windows contacts, but only the names were exported. No phone numbers, no addresses.
Any hints on how to use this backup, other than waiting 10 days? Backups are made to prevent this kind of problem, indeed.
I was updating My Blackberry Bold 9790 software from its Blackberry 7 OS to 7.1, no once the update started it notified me that I wont be able to use the phone for two hours. It started backing up my data first, it however stopped backing up data when the power in the phone went out, and didn't continue upon me putting it on charge and has been stopped the process altogether, it has been at 10% of backing up process for two days straight.

And the point is I forgot to make a backup and I had moved my previous backups to my pc, because they were so many, and I thought, i'll make anther before flashing but i forgot. No my phone is broken and has no OS. I however can still access recovery mode. MY question is, is it in any way possible to access my phone from my computer during recovery mode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo finally i have an issue with my iphone 4s, 16 Gb black. So we had this concert and i asked one friend to record the show with the Iphone, all in full HD. Everything went well until minute 58 of the recording when i received a phone call and the recording was interrupted. After the call, my friend didnt recorded anymore because the Iphone wouldnt let him. So after the concert i wanted to check the video and in the camera roll i could see the file onyl22 seconds recorded. I thought that he pressed the record button by mystake and shut down the process. Everything ok untill i went in setting, general, usage and i saw there that i have only 1.2 Gb available. I deleted all my files o purpose to be able to record the whole show. Again, the footage that i can see in the camera roll is only 22 seconds long when he told me exactly that he recorded 58 minutes.Now im trying to go to the camera to record something but i cannot do that, automatically exists when in camera and i press record button. Can you please advise me? Sorry for the long post but i think i could really need some help to clear this situation and also, to save the whole 58 minutes footage, not 22 sec as it appears

Here's my situation .. recently got the iPhone 6 plus 128GB, an unfortunately it fell out of hand and landed on it's back (with a strong case on), it got no dents or anything.Â
I picked it up and it was off, i tried to turn it on, it didn't turn on.
I connected it to iTunes and it requested me to restore it, after a few minutes a message saying restore error, I do not remember what it said exactly. Now my iPhone 6 plus is not working and iTunes is not recognizing it! Â

I am trying to upgrade my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. As my MacPro is still running Snow Leopard, I decided NOT to sync with iCloud but rather with iTunes. Every time I connect the iPhone, iTunes tells me the restore has been interrupted and offers to resume backup. When I do, it starts restoring, restarts the iPhone and then I get same message.... over and over again.

I keep getting this error since the latest update." the process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. try again"it will pretty much pop up when ever, but especially when I try and go to my gallery or try and take a picture or video. It is also even stopping for from doing simple task like letting my alarm clock on my xperia.I have tried to repair my phone through the sony companion but it always comes up with an error with about quater of the way too go.

I recently did a format on my phone and it wiped all the programmes clean and bumped me back to factory loaded Nokia Maps 2 for my E71. Now I ran map updater and got the error "Connection to Map Server Interrupted" etc etc. Dug around and found a OVI Map 3 installer they used for macs fixed that. Now Map Loader won't work either, returns with cannot load catalogue. I've got maps before like a year ago, whats up now? I've tried on both my computers and the other virtually has 0 security. The router is fine nothing should be blocking it. Tried it on another internet connection and nothing is working.
