Many of my new contacts will not stay stored in my 4s 32gb. I can save a number today and later not have a trace of that contact. ?? Do I have too many contacts in my Iphone. The memory available is 4 GB but I have 2,579 contacts now.

So I've had this phone for about 5,6 months with different problems over the course of my time with the phone.Was wondering if anyone has had the same problems and if there are any solutions. So first, sometimes my phone will randomly delete contacts from my phone and place them in the "hidden" folder. I haven't hidden them, but I've gotten text from people and be unsure who it is,but then find out it is someone that I know and who has been in my phone.Also, since my contacts are synced with facebook,it will randomly delete the FB picture to my contact so instead of it showing their default picture on facebook in my contacts, it just shows the blank face. In the past it has deleted the picture and will eventually come back after a coule of days or weeks but currently it has deleted multiple of my contacts pictures and has yet to come back. I dont know if I am accidentally hitting something or if there is a way to prevent this but it is aggravating. Also, sometimes if I go to send a text message, say for instance to Sally Sue,I'll click Sally Sue, send the text but then in my messaging folder it does not show the name "Sally Sue" nor does it show their picture, but just the phone number alone as if I texted someone who was not inputed in my contact list.It eventually goes back to showing the name but it still annoying nonetheless.The last issue is with the gps sattelite that will not shut off and for whatever reason prevents me to use facebook on my phone.I've read that this has been an issue with others in the past and tried some of the suggestions people offered.I have uninstalled FB, reinstalled in, callibrated my phone, taken out the battery, turn on/off, etc and nothing works.Under settings in the securty tab, it is always checked next to GPS Satellites on. I will uncheck it, but it never stays that way, it will always go back to being checked and I can never use my FB app as it will open for like 2 seconds then cut out.

For a couple days I will have history and recent sites will be available to me where i left off and then randomly there are no sites available and my history is cleared. I know someone that says you only clear your history if you are sneaky. Since I'm not sneaky or trying to hide any thing it would be nice if I knew how to keep my history and stop it from randomly delete on it's own.

I have had the phone for a week or two now and every now and again my contact list deletes several contacts, and I do not know why. It also on a number of occassions adds several contacts from my email account and I have no idea why? and to top things of, yesterday it duplicated most of my contact list. Is it something im doing by accident?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a lumia 800 that randomly deletes my contacts from my contacts list, the amount of contacts and when it deletes them is totally random.I contacted nokia support and they suggested a factory reset, which I did and the phone then promptly deleted 4 more of my contacts.I contacted nokia support again and they suggested a rollback to the previous backup before the latest update, tried to do this(twice) but this does not work and I get error code 801812eo.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnytime I add a contact detail via the handset if I let it sync, either via Google or SE, the contact will be wiped which is pretty useless (basically I cannot add new contacts on the handset, proposterous!). they recommended I use the software update program to update the handset software. I have done this but the update software tells me the handset is running the latest software, the problem persists.

Every now and again I have to delete all the contect on the Contacts app so I stop getting the "unfortunatelly contacts has sttopped" messate.

Everytime i do it, the application decides to link together contacts that are not at all related following some random set of rules. Funny enough, the links the application decides to stablish don't happen in the same way everytime everytime I do it.

This means that I spend more time sorting my phone contacts than enjoying my "top of the range" phone.Â

My Nexus S, more than four years old and running on 4.4.4, doesn't suffer any problems like this with the default contacts application.
My iPhone 4S randomly loses contacts, even if I have re-entered them into the phone. Tonight 12 of the contacts I text to are no longer in my address book. Their text window just shows their phone number.

I can't do that or else it'll delete all of my apps, anyways. My brother said that they released a patch for that, but...Does it really delete your apps? I'm 2 updates behind because this happened with the last one, but I really want the battery update and deleting songs from the iPhone itself... I just want to know before hand beause I have a lot of apps already (23 to be exact, since they take up lots of space) and I really don't feel like redownloading all of them. Plus the update takes hours on its own.

I have two e-mail addresses on my phone and for one address, it will randomly delete my messages in the inbox. Sometimes when I open this inbox, I can see the messages just disappear, sometimes before I can even read them. I have it's settings to delete after 1 month and have reset that several times.

I'm using a LG G3 (LG D858HK) running Android 5.0.1. I'm saving my contacts to Google. Every now and then, some newly created contact info goes missing but I could find the telephone no in phone's call log as a unsaved number. If you check the Google Contacts, this particular contact is not there.

I've got an E7 phone which is synchronized to my Exchange 2003/Outlook 2010 email account. Since I got this phone, I've had problems on multiple occasions with contacts simply disappearing - they are suddenly gone from both my phone and my Outlook account. I have a lot of contacts in my address book that I don't use regularly, so it's hard to know just how widespread the problem is. But three or four times over the last few months, a very important contact has disappeared, along with all the notes and information that I'd added.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am brand new to the iphone (5s) and have a problem when I delete email from phone it also deletes it from the server and it's not available to on my PC inbox. I found the area in settings where it shows what happens to the deleted email on the phone and server. It sends the deleted message to the trash folder on both the phone and server. On the server, it shows all the various folders in my account including the inbox, but the inbox is greyed out and I can't change to that. Is there a setting somewhere where I can make it stay in my inbox on the server.Â
I was a Blackberry user before I just got the iphone and that is the way they handled the emails (not deleted from inbox on server).
Has anyone has this issue with their 8330? I will put new contacts into my address book and some will delete randomly.

I have Corporate Sync set up with my company Exchange server for contacts only. Worked fine initially, but has been on and off again last few weeks. It is randomly not showing the Exchange contacts. At times they are all there, other times not. I'm not positive, but I think this issue started after the 1.57 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating when you're out and need to make a call and the contact isn't there.....If I update my credentials for the account, it shows "Updating service" and seems to finish fine - Not getting any password or connection errors.

View 4 Replies View RelatedDownloaded MfE 3.00.050 to my E71. Found that periodic synchronization first deletes the contents of my in box and sent box, and then downloads emails from the last day. (I do have the sync setting for emails for the last day). In other words, every x minutes I'm downloading a lot of data. Very inconvenient as it takes several minutes to sync, and also very expensive to sync while roaming on travel out of the country.
Also, my prior version of MfE would update the read flag on emails. Now a periodic sync now ignores whatever was done on my phone, and every x minutes I now have all the emails I read showing up as unread. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried both the server wins and phone wins settings, and there does not seem to be a difference.
I'm a new E66 user, I set up my email on Nokia messaging and started using today. I'm using an IMAP email server. I receives emails into my phone, they are kept in the server but after outlook receives the emails, they are deleted from the server. And after that emails are deleted from my phone immediately. It doesn't wait for 3 days or so.
And also I can't change "3 days" option from the options menu, it says "Setting can not be changed!"when I tried to.
Because I'm a new user, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I tried the options and couldn't find anything about it.I updated phonesoftware and download the last version of Nokia Messaging.
