IPhone :: 4s Data Loads Very Slow?

Since I bought it three months ago, my iPhone 4S has loaded data very slow. The phone itself is fast; programs pop up pretty quick. But the data transfer freakishly slow. It can take me six or seven minutes to update my email. For a while, I couldn't access the App store for maybe two days. Now here comes the ultimate smack in the face: I bought the MLB At Bat app so I could stream live radio broadcasts of the games, but it won't actually pull up those broadcasts (it takes a while to "authorize" then ultimately says "playback error.") Is this normal?I am on Sprint; I do not have a WiFi connection.

Already got the Denim update for the 1020? At first I thought my 1020 has the faux Denim update, but I have the live folders and apps corner per the update. When I bought the phone, I just updates incessantly without reading the descriptions.
Some webpages loads quite slow on the Denim update. I thought the update supposed to speed up mobile webpages? Mobile websites which uses a fancy navigation like joystiq.com loads quite slow and incomplete. Also, some pictures load slower than what I expected on desktop mode, and I'm using wi-fi for connection. Is it normal?

I did update to 5.1 this morning and the data speed for internet and app gets really slow. I can not use internet and apps like usual at all.
I called att customer service twice and they just said there is no problem. I reset my phone several times already and nothing get better.
Now i have 4G network sign next to the signal bar and is that because of my phone (4gs) doesn't work for 4g network?

I am in Austin, TX and the data speeds on Sprint is very slow, I can barely download text based sites.
Is Sprint doing anything about this or are they one of those companies who takes your money but does not provide the needed services.

I have an iphone 4s and a MacBookPro 2.66 GHz . My I phone gets my yahoo mail off the yahoo server and this seems to cause mac mail on my laptop not to read it. I need help with the Iphone mail settings so that both devices can download new mail and not mark it as read. I just tried forwarding an email from my iphone so that I can have it on my laptop but the iphone got it first and clicking on the mac mail's "get mai" button did not produce the forwarded email I had just sent to myself.

My IPhone 6 is connected to my home network and it says I have full bars, but nothing on the Internet loads(photos, videos, webpages, etc.). I've tried everything I know! I have restarted the router, restarted my phone, disconnect and rejoined the network. I'm guessing it has to be the phones probably because all the other devices in the house, such as computers and other Iphones, are connected to the same wifi and load perfectly fine. What could it be?

Got my new 9900 a couple of weeks ago, besides the horrible battery life, When roaming, the data transfer rate (on 3G or 2G) deteriorates to a halt. Takes several minutes to download a web page. It even looses its connectivity to BBM at times. None of these issues occur when I am at home country. I am wondering if anyone else experiences similar issue and if there is any solution to the problem. The primary reason to have a BB is for its always ON reliability which unfortunately have been lacking on the "NOT SO READY FOR PRIME TIME" 9900 device.

So i updated a few days ago to 5.1.1 Sprint service! A couple differences/ problems are: #1 Seems to me my data signal isnt good. It shows the LTE signal but when im surfing the next or even on ebay seems to just have the searching circle. then maybe a min or so later it will go. Ill surf again and data will just stop. It seems the data isn't communicating with the phone intermittently
#2 My text sending is way way slow now. Before update it would send pretty much within second of me hitting send. Now it displays the sending for a good 30 seconds! Sometimes even longer.
I have restarted multiple times/ update PRL/ Updated profile multiple times.

My phone charges sooooooo slow when I plug it into the USB on my computer with the data cable. It takes a couple of hours to go from low to 50%. This just started happening and.
It doesn't appear that anything is wrong with the cable - I've only used it a few times. A lightning bolt is appearing and it is charging for sure. It hasn't always done this - or at least I don't thinks so. I've backed up and restored data on my desktop through the USB without a problem.

Just noticed in the last two-three days that an app automatically loads when rebooted called Startup2. I see it when I press and hold the menu button along with the normal icons for web, email, phone, home etc. If I select the Startup2 icon then the BB hangs/freezes. It does not open any new screen. My only way of regaining control is to press and hold the menu button again. where it came from and how I can get rid of it?

I have the N97, to be honest i'm starting to regret buying it as it appears to be one prolem after another. Anyway this problem surrounds the new maps 3.03 with free voice navigation that has been released. I have installed it numerous times but it starts for 20 seconds then switches back to the menu screen. I have uninstalled maps, done a factory restore on the phone and reistalled the operating system all to no avail. Is there anything else that can be done. I am in Ireland.

When I try to start up my phone the Blackberry logo and loading bar appears and loads but stops at half way and then does nothing. I've tried taking out the battery and sim card, putting in the charger etc but nothing works.

A friend recently gave me a phone that was working fine. I went to sleep, next day nothing works. After pulling battery and it going through the loading screen, it will get to the home screen. Moving the rolling ball thingy is the only thing that works, it wont let you actually select anything. I have tried to do a "soft" reset ? by pressing alt/shift right/ and delete. Nothing happens when I do this. Eventually when the screen goes to "sleep" I guess nothing will make the home screen come up again.

Under windows 7 pro 64 after going through the install/un-install 5 times I still have the same problem, Motocast starts than quits. The icon shows up in the notification area but when I hover over it it disappears and the program stops. Everything is up to date on my computer, windows, java, I.E.everything.

Bought a w508 and its a really slim and great walkman phone but when I charge the battery it will not charge to more than 98% no matter how many hours. I have even charged it from the evening to morning but the same thing happens 98%.

My 3-month-old Flipside loads text messages and my contacts very slowly, to the point where it can take in excess of five minutes to create and send a text. I know the problem isn't too many texts in my inbox, since I delete them frequently & usually only have one or two brief conversations in them. When I start typing a contact's name in the sender box, my phone doesn't automatically search my contacts for autocomplete (or does so very slowly), even if I hit the OK button, which has occasionally sped up the process. Therefore, I have to go through my contacts manually & send the message from there. But this is still a problem, since my phone loads my contacts slowly, also. I do have a lot of contacts, probably around 800, because my phone is synced to my Facebook & Twitter accounts. However, I can't un-sync them because then I can't have Facebook or Twitter on my phone--there's no way to have site access without syncing my address book. This is getting to be very frustrating & super inconvenient.

I have a Blackberry Bold 9780. When I click on any of my bookmarks or type in any web address, the loading bar at the bottom of the page goes inch by inch and says "Requesting...." Then when it gets all the way to the end, it just stays there still reading "Requesting..." And the page is blank. I've tried restarting my phone, pulling out the battery and nothing works. The only web address that seems to work is my bookmark to Google Translate. IDK why that one, but it works... I miss my internet!

I have had my phone since last september and its only now that i am having problems with it. I was using it this morning working fine, till i locked the screen. When i tried to unloack it only the top half of the screen shows an image the other half barely visible and i have this wierd lines trying to scroll down the screen like its trying to load. I have not dropped my phone or knocked it or anything. I have taken very good care of it so i am suprised to be having this issue. I have tried taking the battery and putting it back it and i have also tried doing a hard reset. still no luck. I cant even setup the phone again since i cant use the bottom half of the screen. I tried rotating it hoping it would work but no luck. so the phone is practically useless to me right now.

Occurred 3rd time in last 2 months(well spread incidents) - Photon just starts rebooting continously on its own (shuts down - loads back to the startup screens - connects to sprint - shuts down again..... loop continues non stop). During the restarts if it is un-noticed for a while the phone gets very hot. The only way to stop is to pull the battery out, after which it starts fine.Not sure what the issue is. Any thoughts? Would not prefer to do a factory reset as there is no observed pattern, all three incidents were when phone was not being used and was in the pocket. No extra apps are running generally whenever I check through the task manager - I cannot check while the phone is rebooting though.

My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.

A family member has a new Motorola Droid Razr, and we are trying to get MotoCast USB to work. We have installed the software on the computer (a Macbook Pro) and skipped the wireless setup (because we are only interested in USB syncing at this time). But when we connect the phone, all we get is a message, "Please wait while MotoCast USB loads your content."

AT&T and iPhone data use charges - WiFi and cellular link options Many people have complained about unusual data usage charges on their AT&T iPhone bills -- often 10s of megabytes in one transaction, posted in the middle of the night. Here are a couple of updates based on the AT&T support portal: WiFi vs cellular link: Connecting to a local WiFi hotspot and turning off your cellular data connection will block cellular data transmission and related charges. (Except for SMS messages, which are very small.) There are some gotchas, however: (a) If your iPhone goes 'to sleep' (the screen goes black), it will revert to the cellular data link, unless it is plugged into a charger. (b) Even if your iPhone is plugged into a charger, it will revert to a cellular data connection if the WiFi link drops, e.g. due to a momentary glitch with your internet provider or electric power supply, so.... (c) The only way to completely ensure that your iPhone will not revert to a cellular data connection is to turn it completely off. You (obviously) will not be able to receive calls, however.
Large data transactions in the middle of the night: Unusually large 'chunks' of data that are apparently sent around midnight are a related issue. You may think that you could avoid these mystery charges by making sure you have a WiFi connection running at night. A number of 'czars' on AT&T's site stated, however, that this is are simply an artifact of AT&T's billing system, which "aggregates" transactions that occur throughout the day into one summary charge, which is posted in the middle of the night. If this is accurate, the data connection(s) you use throughout the day will determine how large this 'summary' transaction will be.
Note: Our bill does not appear to square with AT&T's explanation. For example:
