Aug 30, 2014I made one phone call this morning and after hanging up i went to the contacts library and all my contacts were gone. I have unfortunately not got a backup (this isn't my phone its for a friend) and so I have no backup of my contacts. I have already tried importing contacts from the sim but only a very small few contacts are on the sim so im still missing over 90% of my contacts. How can i fix this? Aug 14, 2010I use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?

May 2, 2012I've added my Exchange account to my iPhone 4, latest iOS as of 2/5/2012. Everything is working fine, my contacts included except one thing:
In my company's Active Directory, we specify our phone numbers with international dialing codes. So all of my team members in the UK's numbers are showing up as 44 xxxx etc. On other phones, namely an HTC Windows phone, there's a feature that still allows you to make calls to numbers with the international dialing codes.
Basically I'm looking for the feature that auto calls numbers that have 44 in front of them, otherwise I am going to have to manually edit every phone number in my contact list (well over 300).
