Aug 30, 2014I made one phone call this morning and after hanging up i went to the contacts library and all my contacts were gone. I have unfortunately not got a backup (this isn't my phone its for a friend) and so I have no backup of my contacts. I have already tried importing contacts from the sim but only a very small few contacts are on the sim so im still missing over 90% of my contacts. How can i fix this? This phone is an iphone 4s running ios 7

May 22, 2012When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

IPhone :: Cannot Hear Or Be Heard When Making Call
May 30, 2012A few days ago, out of the blue, I lost the ability to be able to hear or be heard when on a call on my iPhone 4. On a call, no matter which output I use, earpiece, earphones or speaker, I cannot hear the person on the other end speaking, and they cannot hear me talking. My phone will ring if someone is calling, and if I call someone their phone will connect, but from there I am completely muted/in silence. I do not believe this is a hardware related issue as I have tested both the microphone and speaker/s by making a Skype call to a friend which worked absolutely fine. I can also play music from my phone successfully through all of the iPhone outputs mentioned above. This is a super frustrating issue as I haven't dropped the phone or damaged any of the hardware. The only one software related thing I notice that is out of the ordinary is that when I do make a call, the 'speaker' icon is selected by default. Obviously I have attempted to deselect it, but have had no success in this making any difference.

The called party must hang up first before I am able to terminate the call. This is very aggravating on calls where there is some sort of auto-answering device. My phone can be tied up for 5 min or more. I have tried resyncing, restarting, and even rebooting my phone all to no avail.

I make a test call to the number, and the photo appears full size.
