IPhone Not Opening PDF From Link On Webpage
Aug 21, 2014I'm testing several landing pages that my marketing department has created to offer assets to partners. Each of these assets are PDFs that can be downloaded but when viewing the landing page on iPhone and clicking on the button to download the PDF only reloads the page. I've tried Safari and Chrome and turned off pop blockers and I have Adobe Reader and iBooks installed on my phone and nothing is working. The PDFs download perfectly fine on Android devices and on Mac and PC. I find is related to downloading PDFs from an email attachment.

IPhone 5 :: Safari App Not Working / Webpage Not Appearing And Unresponsive
Jun 1, 2014Safari app working fine until just now. Webpage not appearing and when trying to open the app, its a white page. Like you see pages, bookmark, the search tab, but when trying to press any of the buttons, it is unresponsive. When i try to go to setting to see if the problem can be fix, my safari setting isn't open either. I try going to icloud and try to turn off and on the safari data, in hopes that it would work. Nothing. I have done reseting network, and currently resetting all setting to see if this will work. I also did a soft restart, hard restart, turn on and off the phone multiple times. All other apps are responsive but safari. My itunes won't let me sync my phone and in order for me to do that, i would have to reset phone to factory setting, which would be a last option for me.

Aug 25, 2010I don't have a lap top, though I do plan on getting one soon, so I rely on my black berry for on the go internet. I play the guitar so I often want to check tabs and make sure I'm playing a song right/learn a new song. My poor 8330 can't handle website like UltimateGuitar.com, so I had the idea of creating a website with plain text webpages so I could easily view my guitar tabs. (Of course I have to add them myself so thats not a problem) I already have a free website set up for this purpose but I'm having one issue; the tabs get word-wrapped and make them unreadable. Is there a way to set up the webpage correctly (html and what not) or a setting on my blackberry to prevent this?
Edit: I've noticed if I switch to "Page view" it displays the the page correctly, of course at a smaller font size but thats what I want. But after a few moments it zooms it. Is there a way around this?
Edit2: I've been doing some research; the problem appears to be with the device because it automatically scales the content to fit the page. So to revise my original question, is there a way to disable the scaling or prevent it by adding some code to my webpage?

Apr 15, 2010I turned off the 3G network and wish to connect to the Internet via the WiFi connection. My WiFi is enabled and has a valid IP address. I can ping the WiFi gateway, I can also ping an external host (google.com which resolves to 74.125.224.134). DNS lookup also works just fine and I can ping various hostnames directly. So, the ICMP packets are traversing the network. In WiFi Diagnostics (Advanced), I see a valid local IP address (192.168.5.190) and gateway (192.168.5.1, which is also the local DNS server / DNS relay agent).So, I want to pull data (web pages, etc.) from the Internet using the WiFi only (with the 3G cell / mobile network disabled). But when I turn off the mobile radio, I get this error: "Cannot visit web page when radio is turned off. Please turn on the radio and try again."

May 24, 2011I have frustrating problem. One website I frequent most will not display on my Bold 9700. It just comes out as a bunch (well, a screenfull) of garbage characters.This frustrate me because:- the non mobile version of the site works fine (don't want that, it's become much more graphic intensive of late). It's just the mobile version that won't work.- the mobile site will display properly on a wifi connection. In fact, I've been using this problem to trouble shoot a wifi setup once or twice (this is not a plus)- I've tried the website on three other blackberries, two of them bold 9700's, and they all work.- this is the only website that I've encountered that gives me garbabge. I have no issues otherwise.

I've tried CCleaner and Avast to get rid of it but they do not find anything.
I would have to press the return button several times to get back to my home-screen.
What caused this and how can I get rid of it?
