Jan 7, 2015Every time I have to use my Samsung galaxy S5, press the home button to restore the desktop screen and swipe to open, a message appears telling me about a battery saving app or something else then opens a webpage to buy or download an app.
I've tried CCleaner and Avast to get rid of it but they do not find anything.
I would have to press the return button several times to get back to my home-screen.
What caused this and how can I get rid of it?

I don't have a back up password (or if i do i don't remember it) so I just typed in something so i could sign in with my google account. I typed in my correct email and password but its saying my password is invalid. I know its not invalid because I just used it on my computer. So now i really stuck..what do i do? Do i just wait and go into a mobile store?

Apr 27, 2014I just got my S5. I am trying to add a much needed added layer of security to the device through either a password or finger print. I have gone through the process of enabling both, each time when I return the lock screen it is not enabled?? Settings clear show it is on.
I restarted the device, upon restart the finger print scanner was enabled upon restart. but once i return back to the lock screen it is gone. Why they wont stay enabled or enable at all?
Figured out it was set to only enable after 10 mins of no activity.

May 17, 2015My fingerprint is not being recognized by my Samsung Galaxy S6, my back up password is not working even though I'm pretty sure it's correct but maybe i have forgotten it I don't know BUT the other problem is I can't access Samsung device manager online because my Gmail account I have created on my phone requires the 2 step-verification thing where a code is sent to my phone first for me to type into my computer but since I can't access my phone I can't view the code!
