Mar 31, 2010I have an iPhone 3gs 32gb. Lately when I sync the phone it will delete some photos and then pop up a message saying some photos and albums couldn't be synced because there is not enough room on the phone. The problem is that I'm not adding anything to my phone when it does this. Yesterday my phone says it had 1.6gb available. I hooked it up and synced it, not adding anything, and it deleted a full album off the phoe claiming it had no space. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this? I'm running 3.1.2

Apr 12, 2012Is this a normal thing on an iPhone 4S that I cannot find the bin icon to delete photos or photo folder that was synched from my laptop? I have to delete the folder from iTunes and then synch the phone again. I keep looking for the bin icon on each photo or on the folder on the phone but I cannot find it. I went to edit and couldn't find any delete function.

Apr 8, 2012Hey, gang! I'm confused about the "Sync Photos from iPhoto" option in iTunes. I clearly do not want to transfer *all* photos (years of accumulated digicam pictures), yet when I choose "Selected albums", iTunes gives me the following warning: "This iPhone contains photos synced with another photo library or folder. Photos and albums on "Name of iPhone" will be replaced with photos and albums from this computer. Photos taken with "Name of iPhone" will not be affected.
Well, this is bizarre--what other library or folder could my phone have been synched with? Plus, no matter what I was using, I certainly don't want to lose those photos on the iPhone!
Of course, what I really want to know is: "How do I use iTunes to automatically transfer the photos I've taken with the iPhone to my MacBook Pro?"
I know how to transfer photos using iPhoto, but that's laborious and I really want to transfer/back up my photos as part of my iTunes ritual.

I finally figured out today that it had to do with me setting up my Facebook account to use https for security logins. Once I've changed my facebook account to no longer use the "https" and deleted and readded my facebook account on my cliq all of the contacts displayed the pictures again. Prior to trying this, I had reset my phone a few times, deleted/readded the facebook account and this is the only thing that finally worked.

May 22, 2012When I plug my iPhone 4S into my computer, it appears in iTunes and syncs without issue. However, when I go to "My Computer", it no longer appears. I've had my 4S since release day and it has always appeared there until last week. I've been using "Photo Transfer App" or "Dropbox" to upload my photos from my iPhone to my laptop, but it takes much longer and is just inconvenient. (laptop is a Sony Vaio running Windows 7)

Jan 22, 2010When I start the Media Sync program on my XP machine I immediately get a pop up that says the program has encountered an error and needs to close. It is the most recent version. This problem seems to not to be affected by whether or not Media Sync is started alone or through the Desktop manager.
However, the program opens, and acts like it is running anyway. (Just ignore the pop up.) A week ago, it was seeing my iTunes library and I could use it to put music from a playlist onto my Tour. Now, however, it does not see the iTunes library/playlist. It says it my library contains no songs. Sometimes, multiple attempts to start it it, it will see them, but then I cannot click the boxes that allow me to choose the playlist to sync them to the BB.

Apr 27, 2010My iPhone 3G is being recognised perfectly happily by iTunes, but absolutely nothing else. It doesn't appear in Finder and doesn't open iPhoto when I plug it in, so I can back up my photos.
I've tried restarting both the Mac (which is running Snow Leopard) and the iPhone. I've tried several cables. The result is always the same. iTunes spots the iPhone (it did use to automatically open iTunes, but I stopped that) and nothing else. No icon on the desktop, no appearance in Finder and won't show in any searches I do.
How can I fix this, and start backing up photos again?

Mar 30, 2012I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

Aug 31, 2010From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?

Apr 1, 2012I just recently uploaded pictures for the first time from iPhone to computer (a Mac). I uploaded them to iPhoto because that was default but I was not able to see any 'Photos' tab in iTunes. It is here that I wish to delete the pictures I have uploaded because when I look at how much space is being taken up on the phone, nearly half of it is for photos. I have already deleted them from the phone itself but the space is still displayed as occupied in the iTunes summary page when I plug the device in.

May 18, 2012I can look at my photos on my Iphone like a hard drive and copy and paste the photos to my computer. I can then delete a batch at a time on the Iphone camera roll. However, how do I delete the 242 photos in my "photo library" album and the 242 duplicate photos in my "Iphone photo" album? When I click on the arrow box icon in the upper right corner of my phone, I can click on a photo, but the delete icon is not available.
