IPhone :: Cannot Synchronize Photos From Itunes To It
Jun 6, 2012
I have last version of iTunes, i phone 3 GS. I had to synchronised my iphone with new computer. Everythinng worked fine. but then i realised that i can not synchronise photos FROM computer via iTunes TO iphone. its just looks like everything is working in process of synchronising even iTunes calculate how much photos should be transfered but on the step 4 it stops. after i check in iphone- is no result.
I cannot sync my iPhone 4S with my iTunes libraries. I've tried with other devices and I can sync but not with my iPhone. I've deleted de program (all the components) and reinstalled it again (with a fresh downloaded version).
Thankfully i've recovered the contacts and apps thanks to iCloud, but not most of the pictures, tones and music.
My new iPhone 4S did not syncronize the phone numbers from the backup in iTunes of my former iPhone 1. What can I do to get my phone numbers on my new iPhone?
I have a problem with ovi suite 2.1.1.1... when syncing photos it automatically syncs videos as well. This is basically OK, but the problem is: not only my own recorded videos are synced, but also video podcasts which I have downloaded on my phone, and any other videos I might have put on my sd-card.This is sometimes a few hundred megabytes, so it always takes ages to synchronize my photos. Is there a way to make Ovi Suite sync only pictures, not videos? Or is it possible to only sync videos that were recorded on the phone itself, not downloaded podcasts etc.?
I just recently uploaded pictures for the first time from iPhone to computer (a Mac). I uploaded them to iPhoto because that was default but I was not able to see any 'Photos' tab in iTunes. It is here that I wish to delete the pictures I have uploaded because when I look at how much space is being taken up on the phone, nearly half of it is for photos. I have already deleted them from the phone itself but the space is still displayed as occupied in the iTunes summary page when I plug the device in.
I was trying to Import photos to my computer and was asked to upgrade my Iphone before importing. In restoring my Iphone, it deleted all of my 200 new photos and they are now gone. Is there any way to retrieve them?
I can look at my photos on my Iphone like a hard drive and copy and paste the photos to my computer. I can then delete a batch at a time on the Iphone camera roll. However, how do I delete the 242 photos in my "photo library" album and the 242 duplicate photos in my "Iphone photo" album? When I click on the arrow box icon in the upper right corner of my phone, I can click on a photo, but the delete icon is not available. I am trying to free up more space on my phone and I want to delete these photos that I have already downloaded to my computer.
icant sync my photos from itunes to iphone ..it shows copying 1 out of something but afterwards it stops and no photos in iphone ..i formatted several times ..and from my utunes i have sync my brothers iphone it synced prefectly only its problm of my iphone .......i have also deleted the ipod photo cache but still the same
I just got a new iPhone today and I want to sync my photos on my computer to it. When I do, the photos go into the "iPod Photo Cache" AND the "Photo Library." Is there anyway to just get them in the "Photo Library"?
So here is some more genius on behalf Apple... itunes out of the blue decided to delete all the photos on iPhone, it's not the initial sync.I mean most other companies that give a little credit to the customers intellect, will ask, Hey there are some new photos here what shall we do?But apple (iTunes) in all it's wisdom doesn't ask it just does, and removes what ever it feels like. And no, there are no iTunes backups as this was the first sync in two months, so all the photos prior to the last sync are gone.Fantastic, this zero interaction approach.Forgive me but I have an absolute right to be annoyed.
I've read several threads saying that the method for removing photos that were taken with a camera (not an iPhone) is through iTunes.Â
I tried two different methods and neither worked.Â
The first method was to go to the Photos page and unclick the Sync Photos From and then hit the Sync button at the bottom right. The photos were not deleted.Â
The second method was to click the Sync Photos From box, select iPhoto and then make sure none of the Album or Event boxes are checked. Then I hit Sync again. This also did not work.Â
My father has an iPhone 5s for work and he cannot remember the pass code that he set up on the phone when it was issued to him by his employer. He took pictures on the phone during a recent business trip and he would like to recover the photos, but he cannot remember the password and the display reads: iPhone disabled. Please try again in 15 minutes. He has tried several times to unlock the phone and it has not worked. Is there any way my father can recover the photos using iTunes or some other work around? Also, there is no business or personal Apple ID set up on the phone. His employer does not want any Apple ID or anything personal set up on the phones whatsoever.
I have an iPhone 3gs 32gb. Lately when I sync the phone it will delete some photos and then pop up a message saying some photos and albums couldn't be synced because there is not enough room on the phone. The problem is that I'm not adding anything to my phone when it does this. Yesterday my phone says it had 1.6gb available. I hooked it up and synced it, not adding anything, and it deleted a full album off the phoe claiming it had no space. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this? I'm running 3.1.2
If you take a pic with the camera it lands in the camera roll. If I email it I get the option to send the "Original" (2592x1936 @ 72dpi). If I then take it out of the camera roll and copy it to a folder that syncs back to the phone and I try to email it, it then shows the original as 2056x1536 @ 72dpi. The original on the computer stays at the original resolution of 2592x1936 but iTunes re-reses it on the fly. Does anyone know of a way to stop iTunes from optimizing (changing the resolution) of the photos being copied back? I like to keep the camera roll empty and reorganizing the photos into folders.
I recently brought an iphone 4S and need to transfer images from my phone to computer. I have checked the option of synching photos but the photos do not appear in library and neither in iTunes (when my phone is connected to the computer) but they are there on my mobile and they appear on it but not in iTunes.
Is this a normal thing on an iPhone 4S that I cannot find the bin icon to delete photos or photo folder that was synched from my laptop? I have to delete the folder from iTunes and then synch the phone again. I keep looking for the bin icon on each photo or on the folder on the phone but I cannot find it. I went to edit and couldn't find any delete function.
I just started syncing my iPhone 4s to iTunes with no wire over my wireless home network, and it is very nice. Now how do I get my new photos from my camera roll to iPhoto wirelessly so that they too can be synced wirelessly? I prefer not to use iCloud.
how do i move photos from my phone to my itunes library. my phone needs an update and it says it will delete all info from phone and i want to make sure my pictures aren't lost
I updated itunes 10.6.3 on my mac, then synced my iphone. I normally have the photos in each album arranged by "name". Now they are all out of order! Ive signed out and back in to itunes, ive turned my phone off and on.
iTunes shows my phone has around 1.8k photos, which is not correct, I only have like 40 pictures on phone (that is the actual number of pictures my photo library has). However, if i check the box in the sync settings, iTunes shows this will copy 3560 photos on iPhone and doubles the storage already taken.
Well the funny thing is the 1800 photos (2.88 gb) shown by iTunes as occupied are not bogus! if i add all the storage shown by iTunes, it correctly sums to what my phone capacity is. Which must mean the phone ACTUALLY has this space occupied. Also my iPhone shows only 800 mb occupied by pictures which should be more accurate.
I tried everything: restoring iPhone, rebuilding iPhoto database and so on.
