Dec 1, 2014 so I recently by mistake deleted a bunch of photos off my camera roll on my iPhone 5C. I didn't back up anything on iCloud or iTunes, and I don't yet have iOS8, so I can't go to the recently deleted folder. I've googled it and downloaded three so-called recovery programs and they only recovered the photos I already had on my camera roll, so am I downloading the wrong programs? another way to recover these deleted photos.

Are they there or were they not backed up? If they are there why weren't they restored and what can I do to restore them?

Usually it all starts up and i transfer by Nikon Transfer software which I use for my camera.

My iphone will connect to the computer and charge, but that's about the extent of what it will do. It won't connect to itunes, it won't even show up as a driver on my computer.
