IPhone :: 4s Not Showing In Devices In ITunes On Mac?
Apr 29, 2012
When i connect my iphone 4s to my macbook air laptop its updating my apps and downloads, but the "MyDevices" doesnt even pop up to recognize my phone....it has never done this before..i have tried to turn off cell and computer and restart them, nothing happens.
My Iphone is plugged into my computer and the chargins icon in the top left corner of my phone illuminates, but the iphone doenst show up under "devices" in Itunes.
My devices are not showing AirPlay since I downloaded ios5.1. Is there anything I can do to resolve it. iPad 2, 4 and 4s. All software is up to date and AirPlay is turned on the atv. Is there anyplace other than the double click home to turn it on.
I've been trying to figure out how to add another iPhone to the iTunes on this Mac Pro. We have 2 iPhone and 2 iPads, but only this computer that we both use. I haven't mad it past the prompt that the music she purchased with be deleted if I push OK. I did make us separate accounts and separated our contacts and Photos. How to sync her phone, but not lost any of the date on the the phone. My main goal is to back up all our devices through the iTunes.
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), iPhones are 4
I can't get my iphone to appear under devices within itunes, my iphone appears as my ipod under devices therefore I am unable to sync my music etc onto my iphone.
iTunes can't see my iphone under devices. I tried a restore on my iphone and now iTunes can't see my iphone. My iphone displays the connect to iTunes icon. How do I complete the restore if iTunes can't see the device?
I want to find an old used device name in my itunes. When I hook up my old phone and try to rename, I can only double click and type in something new. How do it see the names that have been synced to my computer before?
I've tried everything, unplugging it, changing ports, restarting apple mobile device services, everything. My iphone will connect to the computer and charge, but that's about the extent of what it will do. It won't connect to itunes, it won't even show up as a driver on my computer. ITunes was working a few days ago and all of a sudden it just stopped working. I just got a new iPhone and would like to put music on so i don't have to carry around an iPHone and iPod.
my iphone was just stolen and i was wondering if it is possible that apple would be able to know if its been being used on another account or if someone else has registered it under a new apple id
I just have a quick question. If I remember correctly, when Steve Jobs introduced the iTunes Wi-Fi Store, there was a feature where when you connected to a Starbucks' Wi-Fi connection, you would be able to view their playlist for the songs they were playing in the app.
Is that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings -Factory restore headset -Connected headset to another device perfectly -Changed the N5 Bluetooth name -Reboot on both devices -Changed WiFi off -Changed WiFi frequency -Tried various "Bluetooth Routing" apps
My i-phone is not being recognized or appeadring under "devices" in my i-tunes account when I connect it for syncing and updates. Any suggestions on what I can do???
I would still like to solve this problem. I've tried everything.. I've reinstalled iTunes and all of it's components and cleaned up using Ccleaner 3 times, I've restarted the Apple Mobile Device under the "services" part, I've stopped and started it as well. I've restarted my computer and my iPhone countless times. I then resulted to putting my phone in "recovery" mode where it restored my phone, and since my phone will not appear in iTunes, I cannot restore it to my last backup. I have lost everything! I would really love to just get my iPhone to appear under the "devices" tab when plugged into iTunes so I can get everything back
I purchased an iphone in late march...it initially sync-ed successfully, but now when I try to connect it to sync w/ itunes, it never shows up. it also does not show as an options within 'my computer'. I have followed all the steps that apple suggests (changing usb ports, restarting itunes, the computer & reloading itunes...nothing is working!
