My devices are not showing AirPlay since I downloaded ios5.1. Is there anything I can do to resolve it. iPad 2, 4 and 4s. All software is up to date and AirPlay is turned on the atv. Is there anyplace other than the double click home to turn it on.

I cannot find my Airplay icon in my iPhone 4s, not in the Control Center, nor by swiping left to right twice after clicking Home twice. I'm connected to the same wireless network as my Macbook Pro, which is running Reflector (I'm trying to bypass Apple TV). Â
Also, the only place Airplay seems to be located on my Macbook Pro 2014 is iTunes, and clicking the icon brings up no additional devices beyond what looks like my Macbook Pro screen and my Macbook Pro speakers. Did I mention that I'm running Mavericks 10.9.4?Â

I just recently bought a iPhone 5s from radioshack and have not been having any problems the whole week until today, I can't download those apps that have the cloud symbol with arrow facing downward. When I click on the cloud with the arrow facing downward it says, "this item is no longer available".
I downloaded my apps before on a iPod 5g 32gb model and a iPad Mini (Without retina Display) 16gb model.I can download only the apps that I deleted from my iPhone 5s (Yes, they have that cloud with downward arrow symbol.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen restarted my computer and reconnects my iPhone, it now prompts saying that iPhone in recovery mode and I must restore before it can be used with iTunes. I am very sure there's 2 backup copies in my (default designated) computer folder, with one being dated 12Mar (the day of updating). I browsed the computer folder while waiting for the downloads in iTunes.
However the backup folder is now empty!! and I can't restore to any previous backup, and my phone cannot be turn on. The iTunes restore button asked if I wanted to restore to original factory settings. How could this happen?!! My Recycle bin has this item "iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw".
How can I retreive my previous phone backup, or just return to iOS5.0.1 with its data prior to the 5.1?

My wife purchased some Apps for the kids on the Ipad last night Dora, Angry Birds Space etc etc. Since we have two kids they both want to play. However the purchases are not displaying on the iphone (same account). I went in the Apps purchase history on iphone but cannot see the purchase. However, when I look on the Ipad it is showing the purchase (even on the itunes, account history. Having troubles with my text tones. I downloaded an album of tones and they are now in my music library, not under my tones? When I unsync and then re-sync I am still left with the tones I had before? When I download a text tone as an individual it works just fine?

Is that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings
-Factory restore headset
-Connected headset to another device perfectly
-Changed the N5 Bluetooth name
-Reboot on both devices
-Changed WiFi off
-Changed WiFi frequency

I've recently downloaded Asphalt 6 from selecting the game within the Xperia Play App when I slide the game pad out.Since downloading I can only open the game by going into my Applications and selecting the game.Does anyone know a way I can get the game to appear within the Xperia Play App so I can use it as a game library?
View 9 Replies View RelatedOVI "my selections" (or my stuff, whatever the name in Engish) is showing some of the SW I downloaded, but not all of them. In particular, most of the games I downloaded for free in July to NOkia special offer (Summer gaming or stg like that) are not showing up, neither on the phone, nor on the website.
Weird enough, if I have ovi store up&running on the phone and if I go to each of these game in ovi store, it says "installed" and "launch" and if I launch (it works) then look back in ovi store, it appears in Mu Selection list. But as soon as I step out ovi and get back again, it does not show anymore..
Is it normal behavior ? (weird..) In case I want to temporarily uninstall or if I need to do hard reset of phone) some of these games that I got for free to "July only" offer, does it mean I won't be able to download them for free again ?
NB: I tried to uninstall OVI store, but got the "uninstalled cancelled" message.. I updated to Anna last week, but I can't remember if all apps were showing in my selection beforehands.
When I got my 9700 it was running smooth. I downloaded a few apps and all of a sudden it started showing the little loading clock on almost everything I ran, so I deleted a few apps and voala!. It was working good again. But now, I have not downloaded any new apps and is giving me that clock againg.

I can use iTunes on the iMac to connect to Apple TV and PandoraJam allows me to connect, as well. However, I can't get the AirPlay symbol to light up on the iPhone.
I've followed all of the steps on the support page and have also reset the network settings and switched languages. When I go to another network that has two AirPort Expresses on it, my phone connects to those immediately.
When I double click on the Home butto to see the running apps, I can scroll the list of apps and the leftmost group has buttons for parental control, previous, stop, next, and Music. There is no icon for AirPlay. Similarly, the AirPlay symbol is not visible in Photos, Videos, or Music.

i bought an iphone 4s a few months back and it came with ios 5, i then tryed it with my airplay speakers and they kept cutting out so i googles about it and found there was a known problem with iphone 4s and airplay speakers. ios 5.0.1 then came out a few weeks later and the problem seemed to be fixed and i was happy as they worked fine after that ios 5.1 then came out so i updated my 4s to this and started playing music through airplay and they started to cut out again, i turned them off and on and it happened again, then i reset them to my wifi router and the problem still occurred Is anybody else having this problem with airplay on there iphone 4s running ios 5.1?If so, apple really need to sort this out! I bought my iphone with high expectations and to pay all that money for it not to work is not good?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having a vexing problem whereby if I send sound via AirPlay to one of my Airport Expresses the "Ringer and Alert Volume" always resets to 4. This seems to be an issue with older generation Airport Expresses. I was not able to try it with a new Airport Express, but tried it with the latest Apple TV and AirPlay worked fine and did not reset my "Ringer and Alert Volume". Strange bug, but at least I know it has to do with my old Airport Expresses (802.11b/g).
