First of all iPhone is within 1 year warranty, so when I had this problem before I took it to the apple store and they replaced it as they deamed the rattling noise to be unfixable at that time. My new one has started doing the same HOWEVER this time it has slight scratches around the base of the phone. A 1mm chip on the back... they don't bother me; it's not what I'm getting it replaced again for, it's just the rattling noise when tapped, moved or on vibrate makes my model feel really cheap.
whenever i try to take a picture with my phone it makes this annoying clicking sound, like a really old computer trying to do somthing? i dont know how to explain it... its very quiet and clicks whenever i try to take a picture, its not just once in a while. when i put my ear up close to the phone i can tell the sound is not coming from my speaker, it is coming from the camera, i had just gotten this phone new after blackberry was unable to fix my other one, and i had a loner phone for almost 3 months, and i dont want to take it in to my carrier again as i had just gotten the phone back and dont want another loner... the pictures it takes are acceptable, not the best...
It's faint, but whenever I plug my phone into the charger, the charger makes this high pitched buzzing/whistling noise. I checked with multiple outlets and it does it for each one. Is this normal and/or safe? I just don't want the charger not be fully charging my battery, and have my overall battery life be affected, and I want to know if it's a safety issue.
Everytime I receive a phonecall my phone neither makes a noise or vibrates I set the ringtone back (a song on my memory card) and i've set the volume to max but somewhere down the line it reverts back to ringone being set to 'none'
I had my bold 9780 for over a year now, never had a problem and about 3 weeks ago it started to make high-pitch noises during calls. While those noises, the caller sounds like he is far away from his phone. The noises come and go like very quickly. It is disturbing. Does anyone have an idea what to do?
My Lumia 950 has started making a little hiss and 'pop' noise every six seconds when I'm not using it. I first noticed it last night, because the phone was on a bedside table in a quiet room. Rebooting the phone fixed it at the time, but today I noticed that it was making the noise again. Every six seconds it sounds as if I had gently tapped the plastic body of the Lumia with a fingernail. It's clearly audible in a quiet room when the phone is in my pocket. If I raise the Lumia 950 and put the rear speaker to my ear, I hear about a second of white-noise static followed by a "pop" noise. Hiss-pop. When the phone is unlocked and in use, the speaker makes a contiuous low static hiss. It only hiss-pops when the screen is in standby. Volume levels and disabling glance seem to have no effect. Putting it into airplane mode also has no impact, so I guess it's not likely to be interference from the radios?
If you'd like to hear it, download and extract the attached zip, or download a .wav recording from my OneDrive account, linked below. You may need to put on headphones or turn your volume up, but it should be clearly audible at normal listening levels. You'll hear the noise at 00:01 and 00:07 (the one second and seven second marks). URL>...I love my Lumia 950. But this hiss-pop issue has the potential to dampen my enjoyment a bit if I keep having to reboot the phone to fix this.
I have my S2 for some days now. and suddenly my speaker acts weird. Every time sound is played (keyboard, calls, music, ....) the speaker acts weird don't know how to describe it:
1) It makes the right sound so thats Ok. 2) While playing the sound, the speaker clicks on (you can hear a click). 3) Then it makes a noise (you can compare it when you put your speaker from your PC really loud but ain't playing music or something). 4) After that it makes the click again.
Bought a broken phone off a friend. The phone doesnt do anything when its plugged in(stays black screen) but the computer makes a sound showing a new device is connected. went to itunes and itune say it cant connect because it has a locked passcode. But i cannot enter the code because the screen is black!
Whenever I put the phone on a surface (when the unit is in horizontal position and not on hand), I hear a rattling sound. Also when I shake it, I hear a rattling sound near the camera. What could it be? Should I take it on the store? Or is it just normal?
I got my (Verizon) G4 a little over 2 weeks ago. I've noticed that on about half my calls the phone speaker sounds loose/tinny/rattling when the person on the line is speaking.
I've tried every combination of enabling/disabling noise suppression, voice clarity and voice privacy, but nothing has worked.
I recently bought a Nokia 1020 and i suspect that there are something wrong with the camera. The quality of the photos that i take are, in my opinion, nowhere near the ones you can se in reviews and those released by Nokia.
To me it looks like it's only the middle part of every photo that is correctly focused. The edges are very blurry. I have no case on the phone, no dirt on the lens and i have tried to reset the camera and reboot, no difference.
I will attach some photos on which I think you can see it clearly. The images are very sharp in the middle but when you move towards the edges it quickly becomes blurry. Both pictures are taken in daylight with Nokia Pro Cam, all settings on auto.

Is this really normal, i can't recall that I have had these issues on point-and-shoot cameras?
I also noticed that there are a rattling sound when i shake the phone or put it down on a table. I know that the lens is suspended in a "ball-bearing" so this is normal if the camera app are closed, however I get this sound even when the camera app is open and the camera has locked focus. I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from the camera optics. Is this normal?

I have recently been configuring all the sounds on my phone so that when I am asleep in bed I am not woken up by various vibrations or notification sounds. With this in mind, I also wanted to ensure that if I was called up in case of an emergency then I would still hear my phone ringing.Because of this, I don't want to mute my phone or have to remember to change settings each night (which is annoying on it's own!) So, I now have everything working as I would like with the exception of new mail. I have set the sound to none - which I am sure used to work. As previously this stops the vibration however now, it still makes the 'ding' when new mail comes in. Surely if I set the 'New Mail' sound to 'none', then this is what should happen. So, what am I missing? There doesn't appear to be a setting in the notification section for muting the notification sound. I am using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1
OK, looked at every app , every notification, every sound on the device and cannot find this. My phone makes two strange sounds. Sometimes once a day, sometimes twice in 5 minutes. No rhyme or reason. And after the sound, I check everything from messages, to voicemail, to app updates, to Ebay to - you name it, and nothing new.One sound sounds like :di-di di dih-goosz goosz goosz with the "goosz's" getting lower in volume and sounding gritty.
The other sound is similar, but different.Any ideas at all? I know if I go to the Apple store it will never happen when I am there.
My iPhone 5c makes a sound like the plastic is cracking. This only noticeably happens in the top right corner. The screen also felt loose a little in the top right corner. Therefore I took it to the shop yesterday for both problems, and they replaced the handset. The screen now looks fine but the noise is still there.Â
I had to restore my iPhone, but the day before I made a backup. When its finished with the restoring process I get this screen on the iPhone:Â
1. Start as a New device
2. Restore backup from iCloud
3. Restore backup from iTunes. Â
I'v tried both restoring the backup again and starting as a new device. If I do that I'll get all my old apps but none of the information that was in my backup, photoes, contacts, notes etc.Â
I've located the backup folder, and I can see that the photoes etc are there, the folder is at 7Gb. Strangely enough each time I try to restore my backup it just creates a copy of the original backup folder.Â
