View 2 RepliesIt's faint, but whenever I plug my phone into the charger, the charger makes this high pitched buzzing/whistling noise. I checked with multiple outlets and it does it for each one. Is this normal and/or safe? I just don't want the charger not be fully charging my battery, and have my overall battery life be affected, and I want to know if it's a safety issue.
View 5 Replies View Relatedwhenever i try to take a picture with my phone it makes this annoying clicking sound, like a really old computer trying to do somthing? i dont know how to explain it... its very quiet and clicks whenever i try to take a picture, its not just once in a while. when i put my ear up close to the phone i can tell the sound is not coming from my speaker, it is coming from the camera, i had just gotten this phone new after blackberry was unable to fix my other one, and i had a loner phone for almost 3 months, and i dont want to take it in to my carrier again as i had just gotten the phone back and dont want another loner... the pictures it takes are acceptable, not the best...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my bold 9780 for over a year now, never had a problem and about 3 weeks ago it started to make high-pitch noises during calls. While those noises, the caller sounds like he is far away from his phone. The noises come and go like very quickly. It is disturbing. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi purchased a blackberry bold 9780 2 weeks ago. the charger that came along with a handset gives a high pitching noise that can be easily heard if I charge the phone at night, which is very irritating. Basically I cannot charge my phone overnight due to this weird noise. I asked the seller to send me second charger, but it seems to be the same.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1
First of all iPhone is within 1 year warranty, so when I had this problem before I took it to the apple store and they replaced it as they deamed the rattling noise to be unfixable at that time. My new one has started doing the same HOWEVER this time it has slight scratches around the base of the phone. A 1mm chip on the back... they don't bother me; it's not what I'm getting it replaced again for, it's just the rattling noise when tapped, moved or on vibrate makes my model feel really cheap.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 950 has started making a little hiss and 'pop' noise every six seconds when I'm not using it. I first noticed it last night, because the phone was on a bedside table in a quiet room. Rebooting the phone fixed it at the time, but today I noticed that it was making the noise again. Every six seconds it sounds as if I had gently tapped the plastic body of the Lumia with a fingernail. It's clearly audible in a quiet room when the phone is in my pocket. If I raise the Lumia 950 and put the rear speaker to my ear, I hear about a second of white-noise static followed by a "pop" noise. Hiss-pop. When the phone is unlocked and in use, the speaker makes a contiuous low static hiss. It only hiss-pops when the screen is in standby. Volume levels and disabling glance seem to have no effect. Putting it into airplane mode also has no impact, so I guess it's not likely to be interference from the radios?
If you'd like to hear it, download and extract the attached zip, or download a .wav recording from my OneDrive account, linked below. You may need to put on headphones or turn your volume up, but it should be clearly audible at normal listening levels. You'll hear the noise at 00:01 and 00:07 (the one second and seven second marks). URL>...I love my Lumia 950. But this hiss-pop issue has the potential to dampen my enjoyment a bit if I keep having to reboot the phone to fix this.
just got it in and i realized the right middle side of the screen makes a louder click when pushing on it .

When I play videos I've recorded it makes a strange noise

I have my S2 for some days now. and suddenly my speaker acts weird. Every time sound is played (keyboard, calls, music, ....) the speaker acts weird don't know how to describe it:
1) It makes the right sound so thats Ok.
2) While playing the sound, the speaker clicks on (you can hear a click).
3) Then it makes a noise (you can compare it when you put your speaker from your PC really loud but ain't playing music or something).
4) After that it makes the click again.
My 4s stopped making noise when inserting charger why?
I thought charger was bad, but it did charge over night, but when inserting and removing charging device (any of 3 I have ) none make noise.
have plugged iPhone into charger and is making a beeping noise and doesn't seem to want to turn on, what problem might be?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Xperia mini a couple of weeks ago and I am generally very satisfied. Just one thing is a little bit annoying. I use the mini as my primary music player. Whenever I connect it to my home stereo or car stereo through line in, I get a pulsating, humming noise for a couple of seconds. I have tried it with several stereos and computer speakers. Always the same. I use the latest firmware update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust bought the Bold 9700 on Thursday and was busy setting it up over the weekend. When I actually had my kids call the phone to make sure I had set up the ringtones, LED, and vibrations correctly I noticed that everytime someone was talking the speaker will vibrate with the voice coming from the speaker. Doesn't do it when you have it on speakerphone - there is not vibration noise from the voicemail voice or from anyone's voice, but if you have the actual phone up to your ear using it normally, the speaker makes a vibration sound/noise when the person calling you talks. Even when I place the call to them and they talk I still get that vibration noise. I have also tried lowering the volume, but the vibration is still there even though the voice is not very loud. Is this normal for this phone? Or is this a faulty phone that I should get replaced? I had a Bold 9000 and never got that vibration when someone was talking to me on that phone. But I thought I would see if anyone had heard of this problem and might think it is just the particular phone I got and not all Bold 9700s.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a bold 9900. Problem is that the device reboots when using GPS. So I turned turned location services to off. I tried to upgrade the OS to v7.1.0.714. Still no chance in using the GPS without the device rebooting. I wiped the device and again same problem.
People most often send the phone back to the mobile carrier but I was wondering if any other solution exist?
My blackberry only makes or receive calls when it is connected to the pc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is driving me nuts. In setting up my profiles, it looks like there are even more options then there were on my 8320. When in 'vibrate' mode, I want my phone to vibrate ONLY, whether to notify me of a phone call, instant msg, email, sms, whatever. But, when my phone is in the holster, it will vibrate and then ping with a sound alert. I was awakened at 4am this morning because my phone was in the holster on vibrate on my dresser and an email came in.I've checked my settings a dozen times and can't figure out how to get it to NOT ping. The settings for 'play sound' are only 'in holster', 'out of holster', and 'always'. There's no 'never' option.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOk, so I got my bold 9700 last week and love itBUT, the trackpad will make the clicking noise ok for a few minutes and then suddenly disappear and won't make the clicking noise until i remove the battery and it reboots.Went back to the store this a.m. and switched it out for another one and SAME problem.worked fine for about 30 minutes and now the same thing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI know that you can set the phone to make a noise when you click the trackpad - that isn't my issue because I have this feature turned off. My issue is that when I scroll down on the trackpad I'm hearing a clicking noise, almost like the trackpad is too loose and is hitting the silver lining. I'm not trying to be picky, but it's really annoying when scrolling through emails or through the browser. I stopped by the Verizon store and the tech told me it's because I have big thumbs and they're hitting the keys below, which I showed him wasn't the case. He also said the trackpad being angled to the right appears to be on purpose because their demo is like that. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the clicking noise when scrolling down?

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIf you click on the upper part of your trackpad does it not make a clicking noise and do you feel it click down? mine doesn't , but every where else it does( middle, left and right and bottom). I did the trackpad fix and my trackpad is very solid and even now.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased within the last 2 weeks the Blackberry Bold 9780. For some reason I can't get the phone to charge in any Car using the 12v cigarette lighter. I've had no issues with charging it from the Mains and the USB port on a PC. When plugging into the Cigarette lighter, the charger's LED lights up to indicate that there is power being received to the charging unit and after inserting the mini USB connection into the Phone, I get the connection bleep and the clock appears, however after all of this I still get no charging indicator on the battery. Also sometimes when I re-connect the cable I get the below message from the phone:
`Some USB hubs might not provide enough power. Plug the hub into a power outlet (if available) and re-connect your Blackberry device. Try connecting to another USB port (different computer, USB hub or travel charger). Verify that your USB cable is securely connected to your Blackberry device and USB port. Verify that your Computer is standby, hibernate or sleep mode. Verify that Blackberry device USB drivers are installed on your Computer`.
I've now tried three different car chargers all supported by Blackberry - I've sinced purchased one of the Mini USB Chargers that plug into the Cigarette lighter Mini-USB cables - still the same issue... I've tried charging in other cars - also my wife owns a HTC Wildfire and she's able to charge her phone from the Mini USB charger I have recently purchased.
I've spoken to Orange who don't seem to have heard of any issues like this - I've since asked Orange to replace the phone which I'm hoping to receive within the next 24hrs...
my bold 9700 (rogers) won't turn on. If i connect it to the computer or wall charger, the phone displays the charging battery (with no filled cells) image but the phone itself will not turn on and boot itself. the phone connects to my PC, but the BB desktop manager cannnot connect to it.
