I wonder if anyone can help me??. over the last like 3hrs My LED has been Flashing Green and making a really annoying noise every 2/3 Mins. Ive turned my network coverage LED off But its still Happening?!?! This is really annoying because its even doing it on silent.

I already searched the forums, but no thread could help me. Maybe this new one will.Since yesterday, my BB 9700 shows a green LED that is always on.
No, it is not the coverage indicator.
No, I do not have any apps installed that change LEDs.
Yes, I use the newest firmware.
Yes, I tried a plug.
Yes, I tried an app called LEDreset, but it did not work at all.
Last night, I made the battery empty and recharged the device. Green LED was gone, but after I received my first call this day, it was back on as I hung up.
It's really annoying. I already wrote my ISP. Maybe they need to repair my BB or something. :/
Does any of you have any further suggestions?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought BB bold 9700 a couple of days ago and I notice a problem with the handsfree (stereo headphone) that came in the box.During the calls, even the slightest rub of the microphone and the wire against my cloths is hugely amplified and I hear it all along the call, which is extremely annoying and also this noise seems to overshadow the voice of the caller at the other end.Have any of you 9700 owners noticed this? How can I get this corrected?
View 5 Replies View RelatedOk, so I got my bold 9700 last week and love itBUT, the trackpad will make the clicking noise ok for a few minutes and then suddenly disappear and won't make the clicking noise until i remove the battery and it reboots.Went back to the store this a.m. and switched it out for another one and SAME problem.worked fine for about 30 minutes and now the same thing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and last night the green LED came on and stayed on. This was when I was charging it. I have pulled the battery, I have made sure the options for coverage is set to off. I have also uninstalled any apps I don't need. I didn't install anything prior to this happening and it's draining my battery quite quickly. Even when I switch phone off with the red button, the green LED stays. When I pull the battery, the green LED comes on as soon as I put it back in.

Today I decide to restart my BB because I was removing a Google mobile app, so once I restarted, I got the BB set-up tutorial thingy popping up again. So I set the language and set it to not to remind me afterwards. However, once after doing so, the green LED starts flashing green. I asked one of my friends, and he says its Coverage, and told me to turn it off. And I did as I was told, yet its still flashin green. The LED itself isnt flashing constantly like it should in Coverage tho, it blinks about 7-8 times, before it stops, for half a minute and starts blinking once again. Its irriating and I would like to turn it off for good I'm on Rogers carries, and im running 4.6.1.250 OS.

I went to wake the phone up using home button and nothing, nothing from powerbutton either. Tried holding down powerbutton and have also tried charging manually but still nothing. What was strange also was that i did not get any charging sound when i inserted the cable to try an charge it.

so my led light keeps flashing even after i open up and reply to a bbm convo, it's happened on my curve 8900, bold 9000 and now my 9700, and it's only with bbm convo's. in order to get rid of the light i have to mark convo as unread then open it and it will go away, im sick of doing this, any insight?

After updating the Blackberry App World software and rebooting the device, the red light began flashing as soon as the phone turned back on even though there were no new notifications, and no updates required. If you attemt to add the World Clock widget on the home screen it will cause the LED light to flash green continuously when the display goes to sleep. Deleting the widget off screen doesn't make it go away and to make things worse, when rebooting the Atrix 2 the LED flashing comes back because once you apply this clock it will forever run in the background every time phone boots. You have to do a master reset to make this nightmare go away. Update: It appears that what causes this is when for the very first time you apply this widget it scans for your location and if unsuccessful is how this problem starts. Deleting the widget, clearing data and rebooting doesn't fix it. You have no other choice but to master reset the phone. If you were successful then it will function like it should.

The pictures were fixed but the LED light that flashes when there's an alert won't stop flashing. It flashes red several times then stops for a minute or two then flashes again. Does anyone know how to fix this so it will stop flashing? I've tried to pull the battery again and even just reset the phone but it won't stop its driving me insane!

- Turning off the option "LED Coverage Indicator"
- Under "Edit Profiles", I turned off LED for every alert
- Under "Manage Connections" I turned on and off Bluetooth (I do not have Bluetooth). I also turn of and on all connections.
- I removed the battery with the Blackberry on and then removed the battery after first shutting off the Blackberry
Is this a known problem with the 9700? Short of returning it, is there anything else I can do?
