View 24 Replies View RelatedI ordered the Defender for my Iphone 4 2 days ago and got it today - That's fast shipping (paid for 3 day shipping).I love this case, but having never owned one of these cases in the past, I was instantly overwhelmed with how to break it down to put the phone into it. The directions are pictures on the inside of the box and not very clear. This is my only complaint.I eventually figured it out and I can tell you it is the best case I have ever owned. It does add bulk, but it has a nice tactile feel to it and access to all ports. The incuded holster with belt clip is rock soild. If I knew how to upload pictures here, I would post some.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have had an Otterbox Defender on all three of my iPhones and just love the case. Otterbox just upgraded their holster and gave the new one to existing customers that asked for it; GREAT customer service. The only thing that I didn't like about the case was the "oil slick" that you see under the screen. I've tried using baby powder and it worked for a while, but you had to keep it refreshed. Well I went to Apple and bought their Anti-glare screen protector and put it on the phone and inserted the phone in the Otterbox case and OMG no more "oil slick". Just thought you might like to know.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just purchased the OtterBox for my iphone 4S, and it seems that now my wi-fi while at home is very very slow. Just wondering if the OtterBox could slow my connection, as I am not sure where on the iphone or how it connects (speaks) to my router.
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, slow wi-fi
Got my Defender the other day. I noticed that when the phone is in the case the proximity sensor stops working. I take the phone out and it work fine. I emailed Otterbox and the guy said to clean the plastic window. Really?? you dont think I tried that before sending the email? I am going to try my brothers case to see if its the case. My brother told me that he had the proximity sensor issue before the case and now his works fine. My last step is to reload 4.0.1 but I have to figure out how to get a video off the phone first.

The latest FW upgrade seems to have provided the following irritating 'feature':
Whenever my Z4 loses or regains reception, it vibrates twice at me. This is very annoying and unnecessary, and how do I turn this 'feature' off?
I have a Motorola Electrify 1 from U.S. Cellular. I have had the phone for about 3 months and before that my husband used it for about 9 months. For about 5 days now I just randomly lose my 3g signal. I cant get phone calls, texts, or anyother notification on my phone. I have to turn the phone off and then back on so that I can make a call. Also, sometimes when placing a call my phone just turns itself off. What is going on? I reset the phone to factory settings and still am having problems.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my phone. I only get 2 or 3 bars in my house and at work at the most. When I plug my phone in to charge it everything is fine until about 90 percent charged. After that for all intents and purposes I lose signal completely. Sometimes it will just show no bars, most other times it will got into searching for CDMA and then no service. It does not change when the battery is fully charged either. The only thing that fixes it is unplugging the device. It doesn't matter what outlet its plugged into. Ive also tried it at work and home and I get the same results. It does not do it if its plugged into the computer charging on USB, but it does charge a lot slower.

Well yesterday i have dropped my Blackberry 9900 in the pool. I then directly used the rice method and left it all night. In the morning i have noticed two red strips one on the battery and the other one in the inner side of the phone where i place the battery. I have been told by a friend that this is the water damage sign. After i noticed the dark pink redish strips i decided to switch it on to verify that everything is working, and yes everything was working fine including the buttons. However the signal was on SOS only!! i thought that the SIM got damaged so i used it with another phone and it worked with connection signal full bars!! but when i put it back into my blackberry the SOS sign appear again!
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Z5C plays a sound when it loses or acquires mobile network signal. This is very, very annoying in areas where network coverage is bad. How to turn it off? I remember it being easy pre-5.1.1, but now i can't find any way to do it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOk I switched this week form iPhone to Android purchasing a shiny new Z5.
Because signal where I am varies dramtically from 4G to 3G etc so just changing rooms in my house will get me this notification.
Driving to work will get me several notifcations so its extremely frustrating, especially when it cuts in to songs etc that I'm listening too as I use the phone while running, it's also my main source of music in the van.
I recently noticed a strange behaviour during standby on my Xperia neo (FW 4.0.2.A.0.42). Since I use a brand new SIM of German network carrier E-Plus my Neo seems to randomly lose network signal completely. This sometimes even happens without any change of location. However, this occurs only in standby. As soon as I turn on the screen the network signal will be re-established immediately (-> screenshot below). As I can receive calls and text messages during these 'no signal' periods I would assume a software bug. However, I didn't notice this behaviour with a SIM of Vodafone which I had in use a couple of weeks ago.

I set up the same one twice, just cannot find out where to delete if from. Also, when i am at work, it is a metal building, i can get a signal, though not always. Question. Why is it, that when i leave the building it does not find a signal most times and need to switched off/on to get the signal back?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi went to replace the cracked screen on an s2, got all the backing of, and started to get the front screen of, and ended up splitting the LCD.so got a front screen with LCD, digitizer, ear peace, use little wise which Im guessing is something to do with the signal. put it all together, and turned phone on, and had no signal at all.
View 2 Replies View Relatedalmost since day one, i have not really had the pleasure of enjoying what 4g signal is really like. i'm in chicago, and when ever i'm either downloading music or streaming video (netflix, Internet) or downloading anything that requires data, the phone completely loses the 4g connection and takes at times up to 5 minutes for the signal to come back. if i keep the phone on 3g only it does not happen, but that defeats the whole purpose of having a 4g device. the "data saver" in settings is off.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy XPERIA Active (ST17I) lose connection to cell operator network, very often. For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a strange problem with my new Xperia Z3 Dual ever since I updated it to Lollipop. I’m using two SIM cards from two different operators. But every morning I notice that there is no signal available for SIM2. Signal comes back to normal on SIM2, if a call received or if I made an outgoing call from SIM1. Otherwise I have to switch on to Airplane Mode and switch it off every time to get the signal back. Because of this issue the battery drains so fast during night (due to loss of signal for 6-7hrs). And also I notice sudden call drops during conversations within 5-10 minutes after receiving or making a call.
I checked the same SIM using another phone to get verified whether this issue is related with the operator. But there I didn’t notice this strange behaviour. Hopefully this is something related with my Xperia Z3 Dual. I’m using WCDMA(Preferred)/GSM on SIM1 and GSM Only on SIM2.
I just ordered this case and am hoping that it works well. I have the same series of case for my Nokia E72 and I really like it. I couldn't really find any reviews for the case on the iPhone 4 so I took a chance and just ordered it. Hopefully I made a good decision.Does anyone have a personal review on this case?

I'm thinking about buying a wireless charging pad and was curious if wireless charging works well with the Defender case on the phone.
View 23 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
Does anybody know if the Atrix 2 will fit in either the car dock or the HD dock with Otterbox's Commuter case? I'm guessing it doesn't, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it did. It'd be nice to have a hard plastic case that also allowed for docking.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using the otterbox for the Nokia Lumia 1020 for a while now and just recently the phone just "died." I'v tried the restore (volume down + power) and charged it. I think the phone overheated and died in the otterbox.
