I've tried four times to download it and when it almost reaches completion it just freezes there and won't finish or transfer the update to my phone. Because of this I can now not download the latest update, or any new apps. Any ideas because this is driving me crazy!! I'm currently stuck with the 4.2.10 (8E600) when I got the phone about 2 yrs ago.

I cannot download, reload,or update my Apps via Wifi. I can only accomplish this by syncing the phone via iTunes and laptop via cable. When I choose to install or update I get a "waiting" message indefinitely.

I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

I have tried syncing my phone to my computer before but it deleted any song and playlist that wasn't in the iTunes on my computer. I sometimes will buy a song on my phone and I don't want to have to look up every song I have bought on my phone to go through and download it on my computer. I have a macbook pro and updated my blackberry to version 5.0.0.593. after I've done this, the wall charger doesnt work on the blackberry anymore. The battry only gets charged when i connect it with the usb to the macbook. I bought a new wall charger, but the same problems remains. Whats strange is, that blackberry shows the flipping clock (as it always did when I connected it to the wall charger and it loaded the battery) plus it shows the blue charging symbol on the top left.Last night, when I got the red battery symbol I connected it to the wall charger again, but I went out because of low battery.whats also strange is, after I pull the battery and put it in again, i get the following error message after the blackberry has loaded: "Uncaught exception: Index 4 >=4"
View 1 Replies View Relatedi am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Photon that I purchased new March 2012 with 45.3.6. I have never rooted however the update to 45.4.13 will not load. I have done factory reset, both from settings and hard reset. It will download the update fine, it just gets the triangle!. At about 1/4 of the way to updating then will restart and say update failed. I have tried more then 10+ times and nothing works. I even took it to 2 different Sprint stores and they couldn't get it to work also. They wanted to charge me to do anything more to the phone. I haven't been able to get the info on holding the volume up and down key, it goes away too fast.

View 9 Replies View RelatedBasically I never get any notification of app updates, not do they update automatically. I have to go into app store regularly, then to updates and thereafter it shows the updates available, and shows the badge on the app store logo (ie red 3 for three new updates).
I've tried logging out of the current apple ID, powering off, on, putting apple ID back, no difference.
Tried turning off automatic updates, powering off, on, putting it back on, no difference (it's currently set in obviously).
Also difficult yo test as each time I need to wait for new updates to be issues to see if it works or not.

I've noticed that ever since I updated my xperia play to the latest 2.3.4 update, the default browser struggles to load any web pages that begin with https, so I am unable to log in to a lot of web sites e.g. hotmail and google mail. The xperia play's email app gets my emails fine though so it seems to be something to do with the default browser? I've used a third party browser (Dolphin) and https web sites work fine through it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedToday my JB'd 3G on 3.1.2 went into a funky state and I attempted to reboot. Since then I've been stuck on the Apple logo at start up and nothing.
So, i put the phone in DFU mode and Itunes 9 is giving me the option to "Update & Restore", HOWEVER, I dont want to do this because I want to stay on 3.1.2 for obvious reasons. I also have been reading stuff about SHSH but I have no clue what this is so one can assume I never did anything prior regarding SHSH.
When itunes has the pop up on the screen saying "update and restore" can I hold "shift and click "update&restore" to choose a 312 ipsw, or is that option only available if restoring without being in DFU mode.

I tried to update my iphone 4 with itunes to ios 5, but itunes says i have the newest version 4.3.3 (8j2), which isn't true of course. Sometimes itunes stays in "thinking" mode for hours and does nothing. I have the newest version of itunes (10.6). I can't update it OTA because i don't have the software button in general settings (which is normal for ios 4.3.3, i read). I searched the forum for an answer but didn't find it. I use windows 7 btw, i also tried switching firewalls off.

Now all that comes up is for me to plug it into iTunes. Normally this wouldnt be a problem, but im inbetween moving houses with no access to my mac with iTunes.Â

It keeps saying it's in restore mode on the mac. As his computer wont have a restore for my phone, it would be better for me to set it up as a new phone when the download is complete and then either restore it when I have my own mac, or see if I can back up from iCloud (whenever it last saved)?Â

I have had to reformat my PC for some reason and download iTunes afresh. So none of the history of iTunes remains. I have got the apps back by going to the purchased section. But I do not have the information on all the songs, videos etc that I had included from my vast collection in the iTunes library. I now want to upgrade my iOS and I believe I will lose all data, including all media when I do that.
1) Is there any way to update iTunes to my iPhones settings, including all media etc.? Purpose is to ensure I do not have to go back and create all the playlists etc. from scratch on iTunes before I upgrade my iOS.
2) For future reference, is there any way to backup the iTunes library itself?
3) A backup, per my understanding, will not help with any media I have included in the library - is that right?
