I have the iPhone4 which is awesome. However, When I leave my WiFi network at home I can't pick up the Internet quite often because it says that I am not subscribed to a data network. I am. It does sometimes pick up the Internet but not always. I have spent too many hours now looking for answers to no avail. My provider says plug into iTunes and let it sync. Sick of syncing now cos it doesn't work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy wife's phone stopped working last weekend. I went through the T-mobile technical care people and their solution was to replace the phone. Unfortunately the phone has a small crack in the bottom bezel so they won't replace it unless I pay the $175 deductible. I am hands on enough to fix some parts of the phone (I've replaced the screen on my G3 twice) so I thought I'd give it a shot here.
Her phone will work on wifi, but if you turn wifi off or if she goes out of wifi range her phone stops working. When the t-mobile person tried to have me manually connect it to the network, it said unable to connect to the network, please try again. We did a soft and hard reset. They tried to refresh my network connectivity and none of these options worked. We moved the sim card into my phone and it worked just fine. So obviously there is a hardware issue going on.
After transition from BES to BIS I get the following message when trying to connect to internet:"Browsing over the cellular network is not included as part of your current service plan. To browse the web you must use wi-fi or contact your service provider to chase your service plan."My service provider says that all settings on their side are OK and doesn't know how to help as BB has no helpdesk in Czech Republic. Browser works properly with wi-fi only. Incoming and outgoing e-mails work in BB as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I lose WiFi (like when I leave home) I get an exclamation sign next to my cellular network strength symbol and a prompt to sign in to my cellular network which I can't resolve. I can make calls but I can't get any cellular data. This started happening when I updated to the latest Android 6.0. I've checked the APN and it's correct.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought an iPhone 3GS off a guy on craigslist and it works great, no complaints. But every few minutes or so I get the alert saying that I "Cannot activate cellular data network - You are not subscribed to a cellular data service", and it's really annoying because it lights up my iPhone all the time and kills my battery. It's also really annoying - it comes up whenever I'm typing a message or playing a game; literally when I do ANYTHING on my phone. I do not have a data plan, but I have used 'unlockit.co.nz' to install a Fake APN to my iPhone to block data. Rogers has also given me a data block. This has been going on ever since I bought the phone, I thought installing a Fake APN would stop it but I guess not. I can't really restore since I have a lot of stuff on this iPhone already.. but if that's the only option then I will be forced to. I used to have an unlocked Fido 3G (about 2 months ago) without data and it never gave me this alert, do you think it has something to do with my 3GS being locked to Rogers?
This phone is a jailbroken iPhone 3GS (model MC143C) running version 3.1.3 (7E18) and locked to the "Rogers 5.0" network. If it helps the modem firmware is 05.12.01.if there are no real solutions, I still have 2 months left on my warranty. Would Apple fix it or give me a new one if I un-jailbreak it?
This message keeps popping up when my phone tries to connect. I can no longer send or receive SMS messages or emails. I have tried to reset network setting but that has not solved the issue.

My wife is on a school trip to the US. Meanwhile, I am at home in Canada. I am texting her, but I found it odd she never replies and vice versa. So, she discovered that her iPhone (latest iOS 5 release) keeps trying to send the message as an iMessage. It is not reverting to SMS after a given time, as it should and as I have seen it do before. I have tried it now also and my wife only receives my messages when she has a wifi connection (she does not have data roaming enabled). It seems like my iPhone too continously tries to send the message as an iMessage and it does not switch to SMS after a certain timeout time. The message that the iPhone continously tries to send as an iMessage never fails, however the status does not change until the next time my wife is in wifi coverage and the message is delivered.

I recently subscribed to a calendar directly from my iPhone. I thought this would get pushed to my other devices but it doesn't.
As it only showns on the iPhone, I would like to delete it now. However this seems impossible to do. I can uncheck it but can't actually fully remove it.
I don't think toggling with the iCloud switch on/off will help as it's not on the iCloud server but just on the iPhone.

I have a subscribed calendar in iCal on my desktop that shows up in the list of iCloud calendars on my iPhone, but none of the events actually show up on my iPhone even though that calendar is selected to show its events. How can I fix this? It's really strange that my phone "sees" the calendar, but won't show the events that are in it! Very frustrating! I've already tried unsyncing and resyncing all of the calendars on my iPhone (i.e. I turned off iCloud calendar syncing, deleted all calendar info on my iPhone, then turned iCloud calendar syncing back on). No luck.
