Huawei Nexus 6P :: Camera Just Stay Black And Not Function
Dec 11, 2015Running 6.01, traditionally rooted using the M boot image and SU beta. Everything works fine, except my camera app and flashlight. Camera will either FC, just stay black and not function, or just be black and a white circle x. Flashlight button will turn white but the light doesn't come on. Uninstalled and reinstalled. No change....

Jan 28, 2016Just came back from work and tried to connect to my WiFi... It said connected but no internet access.. checked on my PC.. its working fine.. Restarted my phone still no luck.. Checked other phones in my house.. htc one m8, iphone6/ 5... all working fine. I check my Nexus 7 and Nexus 6 and its the same as my 6P.. connected but no internet access..
I have no clue why..

Dec 29, 2015I was having Wifi issues on the 6P. Connected to home wifi but no internet. The thing is, the wifi would still work randomly. It's possible that it works most of the time but as soon as I go out somewhere and out of the home wifi range, it sometimes messes up when it tries to reconnect to the network.
And yes, I realize it may not be a phone issue but maybe the router (Asus N66U with Tomato firmware).edit - well, I spoke too soon and I guess it's not the static IP causing the wifi issues.It turns out it was a firewall app called AFWall

Feb 18, 2016I've literally tried everything that XDA, reddit, and other miscellaneous sites have told me to do and all of them have the same 3-4 ways to get this to work and none do.
Resetting wifi, airplane mode, rebooting, resetting network settings, restored a backup, reflashed a ROM, and went back to stock.. nothing. I also tried go into Netgear dashboard WiFi Settings and change the auto channel but that method doesn't seem to be an option for me, it's either "Auto" or number 1 through 10. Or 5G is auto and numbers in the 100s.
All other devices connect to my wifi no problem, and my Nexus 6P was just fine up until about 2hours ago.

Jun 23, 2014Using the built-in Kitkat keyboard with the swype-like function - when I try and type "you" it very often comes up with "thou" instead.
Is there a way I can delete "thou" from my dictionary? I have no need for the word since I rarely quote Shakespeare or the Ten Commandments to anyone.
I swear "thou" comes up 7 out of every 10 times I try to type "you".

Apr 4, 2010I recently unlocked my 8520 from t-mobile to at&t, i have the data plan with both providers. After i started using the 8520 on the at&t network i noticed that i cannot change my setting from hotspot browser to internet browser anymore which in turn i cannot use the data service with at&t that i am paying for. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

This has happened on a number of A200 platform phones i've owned. It seems to be a browser problem but I can't find any setting to change the default language. I did not realise that it needed the internet. I have GPS in my car and it seems to connect with the Satellite immediately. The Iphone does not seem to operate in the same way. For example, if I plan a route using my Iphone in a Wi-Fi Area (my own), when I go outside to follow the route and proceed along the various steps, do I still need an internet connection?.

Jan 16, 2016 My nexus 5 is having screen issues and the screen basically doesn't function due to what I can only assume is a bad connection on the mainboard ( if I press in the right area with the back cover off the screen will flicker and work a tiny bit if I reboot the phone.) My issue is I still have tons of pictures that are very dear to me on the device and need to get them off of it.
When I connect it to my pc (windows 7) it connects and shows up as a nexus 5 device but nothing will appear in the folder. Im fairly certain I have the correct drivers installed as well. So how can I get it to connect properly with having basically no access to the screen?

Apr 7, 2010This is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc

Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.

One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.

Jan 6, 2016I am rooted on stock 6.0.1 with ElementalX kernel. I have Xposed installed, but I've tried disabling all modules. I've tried deleting the stock clock data and cache. There are no alarms set or off. I've checked the alarms.db file and there are no entries.
How do I get rid of the icon and lock screen info? I only have the Google Clock installed.
The only Google result says to do a battery pull on a different device. Can't really pull the battery on this phone, though.
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Can't Get Adb To Work
Jan 18, 2016I tried to install Cataclysm ROM, and then it went into some sort of installer, after that I tried to reboot, but TWRP said it didn't have any OS?? So i tried to boot it up anyway? but nothing, just stuck on Google Logo. After that I tried to boot into TRWP agian. But then TWRP says "Mount Decrypt Data" and then i have to enter a password?? but i removed my pattern lock before flashing.
Because i made a Nandroid and i read i had to remove the password before making a backup. But then i just press cancel. Then it says " Unmodified System Partition" "Swipe to Allow Modifications" and i do that. Now i have nothing on my SD card?? Then i thought i could flash stock through Fastboot/ADB, but now it won't see my device in ADB? I have updated my drivers, both by Google and Intel But nothing? so i cant return to stock and can't boot up.
Some how i got i to reboot by an ADB command and then i could flash factory image and return to stock.

Nov 23, 2015I've noticed something since I got my phone and that is that certain notifications (Snapchat and Messenger are the main 2 for at the moment) will not make a sound unless my phone is either: Unlocked or locked with the screen turned on. Sometimes I won't get even get the notification until I actually unlock my phone which then all the notifications (sometimes 10+ messages in a facebook group) will pop up and vibrate my phone multiple times.

Apr 14, 2012i'm running an unlocked Storm 9550 on t-mobile. Since I updated to the 1656 bundle I've completely lost my internet browser, email, or any other data use. Literally all this phone can do now is text and ring. I tried reverting to the last bundle which didnt help (updated again to the new bundle now), have tried registering in the host routing table, every time it sends the message but still no entries. have tried countless reboots, deleted the Wi-Fi things in the service book and still no good. The browser only gives the option of hotspot browser. Does anyone have any sort of solution for this? Seeing as I'm paying for internet and emails I should be able to use them.
