I've been using S60 phones with T-Mobile Web for years. Lately I've been eyeing the Nexus. If I buy it unlocked can I just put my sim in and start using it to browse the web and receive e-mail like I do on my N95? (I understand I won't get 3G)
I bought Garmin Mobile XT for my mobile and successfully installed it, but it stops responding after a while, maybe some 5-10 minutes. Has anyone else tried it with the E72?
i got this phone from a friend. It was a phone serviced by AT&T, but i got it unlocked so i can use with my current carrier, T-Mobile. The phone has bunch of preloaded default AT&T applications. I wonder if i can use any of them under T-Mobile internet service. such as browser, xm radio, messengers, email. GPS etc. I tried to connect to each one of them, but got connection error. Is there some kind of setting i can play around with? or any of you got it to work?
I have the HD2 and screen has stopped responding, so i have a phone that i cant use unless someone calls i can press the answer button.. but thats it.Since i found HTC Sync im looking to change over from WM to Android, so liked what i read and saw about the Desire HD. But question is, will my tzones work like it does on my HD2 Android?
I was tempted to get another HD2, but for the price difference between the two, i may just op for getting the Desire instead.I did a search on the forum for "Desire HD Tzones" and all links seem to point to the HD2 instead.. Can anyone verfiy it works on their Desire HD?
I have mobile internet icluded on my tariff but when i try to use it my blackberry just says that it needs a wi-fi device. How do i get my mobile internet to work??
Unlocking the bootloader of my nexus wiped clean the internal storage. Although I did not lose much but it made me realize that I should have a backup system in place where everything is being backed up on my home NAS on a daily scheduled basis. I am planning to buy Seagate 4 TB (STCG3000200) which will be connected to my router. now I am looking for a way where I can schedule a incremental dump or differential dump of my phone on a daily basis so I dont have to worry about the backups any more.
I cannot get the mobile data connection to work. I have restarted the phone, contacted my network provider for the information to set up a new connection, have updated the software, have done a reset but nothing is working. I also do not have the 3G symbol next to my network provider so something seems to be missing or not working correctly.
I have put the sim into my Iphone and I do not have any problems. It immediately connects to 3G and I have internet and do not have to change any setup info. Its pretty frustrating as I have only had it for less than a week but have spent most of the time searching for a solution and am wondering, if there are this many issues, whether not to just return the phone. Any tips to setup the mobile data connection?
after installing Gingerbread, my mobile browsing (internet) doesn't work anymore! I can only go on Wifi to connect online, which is REALLY bothersome!'ve tried airplane mode, selecting networks (only one to select from) and SIM pull
After a few problems with my phone, I had to flash the stock ROM again. This was done without a problem and everything works, except for my mobile data. When I press it, it will turn green, but no letter will appear at the top of my screen and the data just wont work.
Apparently quite a few Nexus One users are having a hard time getting their new phones to connect to T-Mo's 3G network. Instead, according to InformationWeek, they are getting bounced down to the slower EDGE network
So, i've reset phone, flashed new image, changed from Chrome to Dolphin to no avail. I thought they fixed this bug, but evidently not. Browsers are always my top battery usage.
I’m using HTC One M9+, and using mobile internet connection. If I’m using Wi-Fi connection there is no problem with google chrome & Facebook. but only when im using mobile internet, in the google chrome said err_timed_out & Facebook can't refresh to latest news. I have no problem with other apps in my phone. only google chrome & Facebook.
I turn my 'data access via mobile network' on, but nothing happens and I get NO internet connection. There is no problem with my provider, and my wifi at home still works. I 've had this problem yesterday and now after downloading the new version of android, the problem is still here.
I can't find my apn setting for Mobile network. This happened after i tried to change to 4G , and now i want to turn back use 3G setting.. I'm using lollipop android now..
I have Marshmallow and a Nexus 6. My wifi reception is very poor upstairs and I end up using mobile data when I sleep, unless I switch it off before sleeping, which can be a little annoying. Any apps, or a way of switching off mobile data when I've reached a certain GPS (or radio tower, or set a timer) location?
I've used Tasker in the past but had to root my phone for it to work. Not keen to root my Nexus because I'd like to keep using my mobile banking apps!
If I am connected to my home wifi my LG nexus 5 will not receive emails. If i turn off wifi and rely on my mobile data then they come through without any problem.
Also if i am connected to my home wifi i cant download any images or videos that people send my through kik or whatsapp. But i do get the text messages that they send.
I`m surprised that Gmail for Mobile app doesn`t work on my Nokia 6303, though it did work well with my old 6151 (and the operator is the same, nothing has changed except the phone model). It downloads properly, but when I try to open the Gmail, it keeps constantly asking for internet connection. But the connection is there! I press the "yes" but it keeps asking till finally tells to check the connectivity... And I have no problems with browsing the internet or opening and using my email accounts via web. I checked my settings but they seemed to be fine. But Gmail just doesn`t work, though I`ve tried several versions besides the newest one.
I upgraded to lollipop today, all fine except my mobile data doesn't work.Tried turning off and on, switching to airplane mode and back, and changing mobile operator and back, still not working.
I'm thinking of buying an 4s unlocked to use on Simple mobile carrier which they allow iPhones to be used on their not work but don't support it as stated on their website. Giving that it's an unlocked iPhone, all I would need is a Simple mobile sim card and I'm good to go but my question is.... will all features work? It would suck if I bought it at full price just to find out some features may not work on the unsupported network. It would defeat the purpose of having an unlocked iPhone if I can't use it on any GMS carrier.
Ive been trying to set up the wireless mobile hotspot to work with my laptop. I can get my laptop to connect to the hotspot and authenticate ok but its status never progresses past 'local only' so I have no access to the internet. I cant see anything wrong with my settings either phone or laptop side, and USB tethering works fine.
I'm having the problem that some of the sites I use are blocked by ISPs in Denmark - torrent sites. Of course I use Googles DNS servers on my home WiFi - problem solved. I would also like to be able to use Googles DNS servers when on mobile data.
I would much rather change some system file that overwrites the APN settings, than install a VPN or DNS changer app.
Both mine and my wife's 6p's are not able to access the internet while a call is in progress. My phone is unlocked & rooted, however my wife's is complete stock so I know that can't be the issue. I've also tried disabling the "enhanced" calling with LTE under cellular networks on both devices and this doesn't fix the issue, either.
After going into my Verizon online and adding the Advanced calling 1.0 feature to my line, then rebooting my phone, and waiting a few minutes, things automatically started working.
