HTC :: Why Won't QPST Work?

So I have QPST 2.7 build 323. I downloaded the htc sync and it installed all tthe drivers. I've tried dialing ##3424# and it tells me in device manager that all drivers are installed Android HTC. I can't get the port though. Am I doing something wrong? I have windows 7 X64 and I couldn't find any other usb drivers for windows 7. I've tried downloading vista drivers but it wont install them. When I open QPST configuration there is no port for me to select.

I am looking for help to access a Samsung Epix I907 with QPST.
The environment is:
QPST builds 323/343
Windows 2000
stock Samsung USB drivers
stock Samsung USB cable (APCBS10BBE) from Blackjack II
generic aftermarket USB cable
no Activesync
The result is:
Samsung Modem shows up on connection
Samsung Diagnostic Serial port shows up ports are selectable in QPST configuration manager, but, of course no phone is recognized
What has been tried before connecting:
remove sim
remove microsd
run testmode.exe
run dmsessioninit.exe
use debug menu to enter test mode

After I updating my phone to android 2.1, QPST says their is no phone connected even thought HW VSP connects to 192.168.16 port 11008 that is my Moto droid. What do I do?? How do I make QPST detects my phone again. Already tried reinstalling all..

I'm still new to Samsung and it's on Cricket. Anyway I've finely figured out how to get into the file system with QPST. BitPim wasn't working for me. What has anyone else done from here? Can you add brew apps to the phone? Or change any system settings? What would really be good is if I could eliminate the ascending volume ring when calls come in. My girl friend has the Samsung My Shot II and it does not have that stupid ascending ring. I know with my last phone (UTStarcom / AudioVox) you could edit some files and get rid of some default sound efx and other stuff. I have the R560

Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.

Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

I have a BB 9300 Curve. I have both personal and email account on BB. Is there convenient way to not receieve my work emails when I am in my office so that I am not getting them on my PC and the BB? I was hoping for basically an on/off switch for the email account that can be used when at my office.

I recently became the owner of an e71 and although every phone I have ever had has been a Nokia, I am having massive problems getting this one to do what I want it to!I am hoping that you may be able to help me out with the following questions:
EMAIL
I set up my hotmail on the phone and it was working fine. I then deleted that account but on the home screen am left with the subject line of the last message, but cannot get rid of it, or open it. When I select it, I simply go to the email options screen with sync, settings etc.How do I get rid of this and start again?Also, is it possible to set the phone up so that hotmail only displays on the 'personal mode' and that my work email only displays on the 'work mode'? If so, how do I go about it?
My work email (IMAP) I got all the settings and details from the IT department, and whatever I (or they) tried to do, simply wouldn't allow me to connect to my account and receive messages. Has anyone else had this? Is there some trick that I haven't been using?
SMS/TEXT MESSAGING
How do I get smilies back on the phone!?How do I make it so that sent messages are not saved? I have selected this option, but each time it seems to revert to automatically saving them, which I don't want.
GENERAL
How can I get it so that photos linked to contacts display on the whole screen when they phone me, rather than a tiny square that I can barely see?

I use N86 "Integrated GPS" as the only positioning method.N86 takes at least 2 min to locate satellite signals. In contrast, my Garmin GPS takes about 40 seconds.In the car, the N86 GPS does not appear very good because the connection with the satellite constantly drops. I suspect that the GPS receiver is weak. My Garmin is superior.The N86 GPS was tolerable until I upgraded my software version to 20.115. NOW, I GET NO CONNECTION AT ALL, even under clear open sky. The warning message "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed area" just exacerbates my frustration.Also, the GPS receiver can completely drain a fully charged battery in about one hour.Does anyone have a solution to my NO CONNECTION problem?

Yesterday my 'O' key randomly started to go weird; all of my other buttons work perfectly but when I press the 'O' button, sometimes it wont work.
