May 16, 2010i have downloaded fapn and configured the settings, now when i go on the application manager and find fmms, it only finds fmms 1.0.3, now iv downloaded this and followed this video off Internet http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=zardaw47lh8 on how to set it up, yet the version the person in the video downloads is 0.2.8-1 and has different setting to the one i find and download. iv tried sending an mms and always comes up with the error: - 2 name or service not known, please make sure ur apn settings r correct!

May 18, 2012I have a factory unlocked Vodafone 9900 from the UK (Carphonewarehouse). I've moved to Canada and inserted a Koodo, Bell, and Rogers SIM and the phone could not pull in a 3G signal at all.
It can pull in a Rogers/Fido 2G signal easily, but for some reason 3G won't work.
When I do a manual search for a network, it detects a Rogers 2G network, and for some odd reason a WIND and Mobilicity network.
Now I got this phone in the UK, and according to Vodafone's website it uses the following bands: HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 why in Canada I can't pull in a 3G signal using 1900/850?

Last week, all of a sudden and for no apparent reason, the Vodafone app (icon looks like a SIM card with Vodafone written underneath it) automatically opens when the phone is switched on. For example: I have auto on/off enabled, so when the phone autos on - the Vodafone app is launched; or if I switch off the device using the power on/off, when the device is switched back on the app loads.
I have called Vodafone about this - they passed me to Blackberry. I have been trying for 3 days to speak to someone at Blackberry - virtually impossible and when you do get through they immediately refer me back to Vodafone.

Aug 15, 2010I've been in EU for almost a year with an Jailbroken and unlocked iPhone.I've been using Vodafone since I got here and things have been great. Yesterday, I asked my brother in law if I could use his T-Mobile SIM card just to see how it would work because a friend from back in the U.S.sent me a pre-paid T Mobile SIM for when I got back.
Ever since then, even with my or my wife's Vodafone SIM card in the iPhone, it is attached to the T-Mobile network regardless if I choose Vodafone manually in the carrier settings. I thought at first it was still Vodafone but just reading it as T Mobile, but I no longer get 3G service and only get that stupid little ˚ icon. It's likely not a HUGE deal since I'm going back to the U.S. on Tuesday, but I would just like to know that my phone isn't totally messed up.
I say that only because my iPhone is steadily becoming crap. The wifi stopped working about 2 months ago out of the blue, as if the hardware didn't exist and now this.For the record, this is an 3G iPhone (not 3GS) running iOS 3.0 If I restore the phone back to factory settings, I lose my JB and unlock, correct ?

Jun 9, 2012I tried to unlock my iphone 4 on the Vodafone's website. But if I follow the instructions it tells me that my IMEI is not in their database and they will contact me in 10 business days. I'm going overseas in 10 days and I wanted to make sure my phone was unlocked by then so I'm trying to understand what is going on before it's too late.My boyfriend and I got an iphone each with Vodafone, he just tried to follow the instructions and all went well for him. The only difference I can think about is that a few months ago my iphone was exchanged for a new one at the genius bar because they couldn't fix the problem I was having.
