I just got the Sensation after having the Inspire, which was my 1st Android device. I can't locate the Footprints app on the Sensation although the User Guide has instructions on how to use it on pages 134-138. Is there a way to download the software from the Market or from an HTC website or will a future system update include the program?

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.

A couple of days ago the Nokia Map 3.0 program just failed to start.
Earlier the same day it worked fine. But suddenly just the startscreen loads and disappears. I've tried to reinstall the map program. I've tried to reset the phone to the original factory settings, but the problem persists.
In this process I have lost most of my settings for voip, email, and more, so now it is less work to buy a new, non-nokia phone, than to get this **bleep** set up again. Both the N85 and N82 have been very unstable and with poor support from nokia.
Of course this happened at the most inconvenient moment, for Nokia, since I'm about to buy new phones for my family. I hope I can get a good answer from Nokia, on how I can get the map and phone working again.
I downloaded a screenshot free app and I didnt care for it...and now I cant get rid of it...I clicked on Menue and selected delete and deleted the icon but in menue it's still there. is there some other way to delete apps that I dont know about?
