View 17 RepliesI have the strangest stuck pixel. If I select the purple HTC one wallpaper 4th from the end from the stock wallpapers, I have a green stuck pixel on the right edge about halfway up.
But if I select a purple image or the same image from the htc wallpaper app on the google play store, it isn't there.
I bought my Xperia Z3 6 months ago. And 2 days ago my phone screen appeared green stuck pixel.

My best Buy pretty much said they do not want to take the phone back again because of how many times I've returned it for various legitamate issues. Now, in addition to this device having the usual issues I've had with it, I now have a bright white pixel that only shows on white/light colored backgrounds.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just get LG G3 and see 3 places with dead pixels, one is really hard to see but it is here, second is like 2x larger and third is 3x larger (its still really small point on screen). Its almost week over so i can send it back on next week.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Sprint HTC One. I have an issue with my screen. One pixel at the bottom of the screen is pink in certain backgrounds. While this is not a deal breaker, it is very annoying and I want to fix it. It reappeared after about 2 weeks of it going away. The first time it came, I was on CyanogenMod 11. Now I am on 4.4.2 100% stock Sense. I have performed a factory reset. The pixel is pink even when in recovery and fastboot (no Android OS).
I attempted a screen flush with one of those flashing screen programs on Google Play store, and ran it for separate 10 hour and 8 hour intervals, with no luck. I bought this device used and the bootloader has been unlocked, so warranty claim is probably going to cost more than it is worth.
Recently I found a little white dot occur on my display which is consistent all the time, I've checked it isn't any dirt etc. I think it may be a faulty pixel or LED, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Bit annoyed as it occurred only days after I got my iPhone replaced?

My iphone is less than 2 weeks old and has a dead pixel on the screen, what can I do to get it fixed? Also it has been there since I got the phone.

I recently bought a 5800 and it has a dead pixel on the screen. I was really looking forward to getting this phone and I am now quite disappointed (and disgusted by the service I was offered here in Malta!). I returned it to the shop where I bought it and was told that I have to have at least 5 dead pixels for me to be able to change it. Is this true?
It is still under guarantee as it hasn't even been a month since the date of purchase. They tried to feed me so much bull (including: the laws do not apply for Malta and that i had to go back within the first seven days EVEN THOUGH it clearly says on the guarantee that I have a 30-day period from the date of purchase to take it back).
have a big dead pixel in my screen and I want to know if Nokia will repair it for free.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI jut got my new 9700 today and am really liking it so far. I just want to check if the screen is ok. When i go to option -> status -> type test and do the screen test, it does not toggle after red. The red screen is the only one I can see. Is there any other dead pixel checker out there.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just have bought a Nokia X2 mobile a week before. The main reason to buy that mobile is, 5.0 mega pixel camera and some new features which is not in other branded mobiles. After that, I was disappointed and shocked because of the camera is not having the clarity is equivalent to the 5 mega pixel. It seems like 1.x. I don't know Do I need to apply any settings or Is this a manufacturing defect?
Already done camera settings as the following.
Camera pixel : 5.0 mp.
Flash light : off
Even though, I'm capturing the photos with worst quality like darkness. I have attached an image which was taken using my mobile with worst quality (i.e. Nokia X2). I had good trust on Nokia branded mobiles.
I found there is a very little tiny white dot that I doubt might be a dead pixel on my iphone 4s screen. It hard to notice only when the screen turns totally black such as power off and on the iPhone. I've just bought my iPhone 4s January from the Yoobee and I covered the screen with protective film once I had bought the phone. Do I really need to get a replacement?

I am trying to create a custom map for iOS. For the time being I am using Openstreetmap images for the custom map app.Now what I want is to convert the pixel point to Latitude and Longitude value at a particular zoom level. I am finding out the tile(pixel point) in which I clicked. I need to find out the Lat and Long of that particular point. How this can be calculated? Is there any general formula to find the Lat & Long from pixel point.

I've spotted a defective pixel (bright white very small dot) on my 2 weeks old Xperia Ray. I've searched for Sony Ericsson's defective pixel policy on smartphones but couldn't find any info on it. So, this is my first question, what is SE policy on defective pixels? The second question is, are there any ways of fixing this without changing the phone? Is this considered a stuck or a dead pixel?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWent to the AT&T store and I was surprised at how light it was. Guess I've been lifting too much with my 920. I was also surprised at the thinness. Anyway, a couple of questions:
1) if I select only 5MP shooting, is there still a delay between shots?
2) what's the pixel length and width of a 5MP image?
3) not really a 5MP question, but how close can you get to your subject (I heard not as close as a 920)?
I had sony ericsson k750i - a gem amongst cell phones I must say. I recently purchased T715 and it is indeed a nice "no nonsense" phone. But I must say, I am missing the "macro" feature in the camera. I am an origami folder and this feature (earlier in K750i) helped me a lot to emphasize my origami models. And also what is the use of 3.2 mega pixel camera if I cannot zoom? Can any modding be done to get both "macro" and zoom options?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm an E72 user and I'm not happy with the phone. I'm using the 031.023 FW. I'm using Google Mail, Nimbuzz and Ovi Contacts mainly. I also have google search installed and running in background. I used to have MfE but removed that account because I thought it is the problem that slows the phone however I'm getting random stalls. If I have 2-3 programs open at the same time, theres a very high chance of phone stalling for 1-2 mins. I can get back to homescreen but I cant access the applications running. When I type a number, phone lags a lot. I have like 450 contacts but It was a lot faster when I was using a WinMo phone previously. Do u have such issues ? I did a hard reset before installing the firmware and all software installs are on the memory card. Any options?
View 4 Replies View Relatedyesterday when i was taking pictures with my Phone, it randomly rebooted and it got stuck at the booting screen with the LG Logo and the screen turns black and the LG Logo reappears, i have searched the internet and it seems like its a boot loop that so many people have had, i have the LG G4 Dual Sim international Model, i contacted LG Care center and they told me they must erase everything on the phone and i dont want that to happen cause i have taken so many pictures and videos that i dont want them to get deleted that easily.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with the power button on my phone. It's acting like it's stuck getting pushed every couple of seconds. It was just in my pocket when it started doing it. It won't get past the first htc loading screen. It will try too boot up by itself. When it first happened it was on the home screen and the 2 buttons on the bottom were blinking on and off. The only reason I need to get this phone to work is to get all my apps music contacts and everything else off of it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a GS6 (international) stuck in bootloop. I need to go into recovery mode to fix it. However, my phone is restarting and stuck in bootloop. I cannot power down the phone from this state and I cannot enter recovery or download mode. I would like to know if there is a special button combination to completely shut down the phone (power button from this state does not work)
View 1 Replies View RelatedPhone has been working on and off. Occasionally it would get caught in the restart loop but now it is just getting stuck on the logo. I can get into recovery, factory rest, wipe caches but after doing all that still it gets stuck. The phone is unlocked and rooted..
ROM? was that used during the jailbreaking process?
Didnt attempt to OTA (?) it just started with this out of nowhere.
The phone is T-Mobile.
By "working on and off" i mean the phone was working perfectly fine up until like a month ago when it started occasionally falling into a reboot loop. I would resolved that by factory reseting, it will work for a few days then go into the restarting again. now, after falling into yet another restart situation, and factory reseting (like the 5th time), the phone is just stuck on the HTC logo. I am able to access ClockworkMod Recovery but nothing I do inside here works... Ive factory reset and emptied every emptyable cahe I see.
My HTC One M7 is stuck on the boot screen and I really don't know what to do anymore. Yesterday I deleted some music and 4gb of pictures from my phone to make some space. After that I checked for updates It said an update was available regarding some bugfixes and other issues. I let it download and install. At the end of the install process, I think I saw just the normal updating screen, but with the red pyramid exclamation mark icon. After that, it rebooted just like normal, first the white HTC screen, then the startup sound, and then the white HTC One screen. Only this time it didn't go further than that. My phone is not rooted or tampered with in any way.
I know a factory reset is the easiest thing to do, but if it's possible, I'd really like to fix the problem with all my data intact. My pictures etc are all back upped, and I have the HTC backup thingy (I think), but still, there's some things like WhatsApp messages I'd really like to keep.

I started the camera on my Curve 8330 by touching the right side key and took a picture. When I tried to exit by hitting the back key, it remained stuck in camera mode, forcing me to battery pull. My OS is 5.0.0.438. What can cause this?
