IPhone :: Earbud Holders Won't Fit In Ears?
Jun 3, 2012This isn't the most critical issue on the Internet but I've tried just about everything on the market by way of inside the ear earbud holders (i.e. Breppies, foam covers, Lobies, etc). So far everything has been a waste of money. I can't get the things to stay in my ears. And I'm not just talking about running during a workout...they won't even stay in my ears while strolling down the street with the dog!. The closest thing so far has been adapters that clip on to the earbuds with a little plastic piece that accepts a little silicone cap that came in several sizes (see below). I tried them all, from small to large, and nothing works.

Apr 3, 2012The buttons on my earbud stopped working. No problems with listening however. I tried other earbuds, and they don't work either. Just happened a couple of days ago, and just past the 1 year warranty.

LG G3 :: Changing Temperature Controls
Dec 4, 2015I just bought a new g3. read about fixing the not-so-smooth operation of the phone. I understand the main option to do that is changing the temperature control using developer codes. (the other option of changing to ART isnt available to me since i understand my phone already runs it).
The question is, i assume changing temp controls voids the warranty, and im not keen on doing this.
HTC One M9 :: Missing Manual Controls In RAW?
Jun 23, 2015I'm on Verizon and after receiving the update through the Play Store that enabled RAW, I'm missing the little bar with the manual controls while in RAW. Even the new update this morning did not have it.
There's a thread on XDA in the Verizon M9 section, so as far as I can tell, it seems only Verizon M9s are affected, but I'm trying to confirm this. I called HTC yesterday and reported it finally. Of course, their only solution is to try a factory reset, but I don't think that will fix it. I've tried everything else I can think of tho.
HTC :: Ozone Volume Controls
Jan 27, 2010I just simply haven't been able to figure out a couple of things:
1) When I dial a number there is an annoying beep when I press the call button. I can't figure out how to disable it.
2) I can't seem to "lock" the ring volume controls. I set it for a low volume ring but somehow it keeps resetting itself to ring loud. How do I keep the ring volume at the level I set it? TIA.

However, this function does not work and pressing the skip forward or back buttons only turns the volume up or down. I have actually tried several different brands of headphones and experienced the same issue.

Jan 16, 2010Short version: How do I "unfreeze" the iPod controls on an iPhone (or iPod classic) when it is plugged into an accessory? The accessory is an Alpine car stereo, though I have seen the controls freeze on boom-box type accessories too.
Long version:
My car has a nice aftermarket Alpine stereo with an iPod connector plug, so I can plug in my iPod and my iPhone in the glove compartment. Sadly, when the iPod/iPhone is plugged in, the screen says "accessory connected" and it doesn't allow me any access to the controls.This is bad. This is bad because the stereo's alphanumeric display shows only 8 characters, and the knob you turn to select things can only go about two clicks per second, meaning it takes about a million years to scroll through any list of songs or artists or playlists. If I did feel the temptation to switch songs while driving (and I'm not saying I do that, it is most often the passenger or I am at a red light) the iPod/iPhone's own controls would be much, much faster and safer than the Alpine's knob and 8-character display.
Even more hilariously, the iPhone has frozen iPod controls (you click the iPod app and it says "accessory connected"), but everything else about the iPhone is accessible. If this was a safety feature, then 1) I would hope the new controls would be safer than the overridden and frozen controls, whereas the new controls are actually much more dangerous and distracting; and 2) It seems pretty unsafe to be able to browse the internet and use the maps app, which are both fully functional while the iPhone is plugged into the car stereo.So yeah, how do I unfreeze the controls? Will jailbreaking do it? Or do I need to jailbreak and then do.

May 11, 2015About a week ago my phone started having an issue with the video player. When I watch a video or movie, I lose all controls. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it real fast for the controls to pop up, but they go away within a second and I am back to no controls. I cleared the cache on the video player, force stopped it and rebooted it, the phone reboots on it's own all the time so that is taken care of. It is really annoying not even being able to change the screen brightness now.

IPhone :: Have No External Speakers And No Volume Controls?
Apr 13, 2012My external speaker doesn't work for notifications or ipod audio. It only vibrates no matter what type of notification sound is selected. Incoming calls come through the speaker ok. I cannot control the volume with the side volume buttons unless I am in the Settings>Sounds screen and if I move the volume on the touch screen first. Of course the mute button on the side upper left above the voume controls is not on. Also, the setting under Settings>Sounds>"Change with Buttons" is "ON". I have reset the iPhone and the nothing has changed. I know the volume buttons work because when I plug the earphones in, it will control the volume up or down.it is a software issue or setting.

Jun 27, 2012Since i last listened to my iphone via headphones I now have an icon next to my ipod controls which is a rectangle with an upwards arrow at the bottom of it. When i press it it asks whether to use the main iphone speakers or the ear piece used when taking a call. What is this and how do i get rid? It is stopping some apps from outputting sound.

The play/pause/skip controls on the WH-920 headphones don't work or work very sporadically when my Lumia 900 is locked and the screen off. When locked with screen on or unlocked with screen on the controls work completely fine.This basically makes the controls on this $100 headphone set useless if my Lumia is in my pocket I ordered a replacement off of Amazon. Same issue, which leads me to believe this is a phone problem.As well, the L-shape extender makes it so that no commands can be sent at all (locked or unlocked) and also the audio is messed up (very soft) unless the middle button on the earphones is held down. This is for both sets of L-shape extenders and both sets of headphones.

May 5, 2011I have noticed in the last couple of days the homescreen seems to stutter when moving from screen to screen. I have very few icons 2-3 on 3 screens and only one widget. It is the wallpaper that seems to jump or stutter during the transistion. I have done factory reset, wiped cache, safe mode, etc. It still does it. Doesn't happen in Launcher Pro or ADW EX. Any ideas on this or what actual app controls the scrolling?
