I like to listen to a podcast during my commute (using Podcast Addict for now), usually while Waze is the active app on the screen, but I've been having trouble pausing the playback or hitting fast forward (to go through commercials) while driving. Seems like the controls on the notification bar are too small and there is no skip ahead button there. Maybe I'm just getting used to my new phone, but I'm coming from a Windows Phone where it seemed a lot easier/safer to do.
Anything that can make the controls overlap the Waze app? Or make buttons larger and more useful after flicking on the notification bar?

May 14, 2012When I'm listening to music, or more likely a book on my iPhone, I double press the home button to show the basic music controls forward, back, play or pause. Way to often I go to hit pause and accidentally hit one of the other very nearby buttons like skip forward or skip backward. When listening to a book chapter that is 40 minutes long and having no clue where I'm at in the chapter, this can be super annoying. So - is there any way to customize and separate these buttons so that they're not so close to each other? My fingers aren't that fat, the touch separation between these buttons must be about a millimeter. Totally frustrating to lose your place like that. Would be cool if they were far enough away that I could hit the button I want without looking at the phone, or at least the play/pause button was much larger.is there an app that can change these controls, or a way to make a request to Apple?

Mar 23, 2015I have just updated my Z2 to 5.0.2 and the lock screen is not showing anything when I receive notifications (e-mail, text messages, etc.) nor do I see any icon in the status bar unless I unlock the phone.
I have a lock screen with pin code, enforced by company rules where I work when using company e-mail on the phone, but I would expect the notifications to still work.
I have checked the settings, and I have tried setting them to both Hide Sensitive Information and Show All under Notification settings when the unit is locked.

Nov 18, 2010I just updated to 2.1 this week and I noticed that while I am in the 12 hour clock format and not rooted, the lockscreen has an extra '0'. While this isn't that big of a deal, it is starting to bother me. Does any have a work around besides downloading another lockscreen? I like this new lockscreen (except for this clock issue) so I would prefer not to have to download another one.

HTC One M9 :: Missing Manual Controls In RAW?
Jun 23, 2015I'm on Verizon and after receiving the update through the Play Store that enabled RAW, I'm missing the little bar with the manual controls while in RAW. Even the new update this morning did not have it.
There's a thread on XDA in the Verizon M9 section, so as far as I can tell, it seems only Verizon M9s are affected, but I'm trying to confirm this. I called HTC yesterday and reported it finally. Of course, their only solution is to try a factory reset, but I don't think that will fix it. I've tried everything else I can think of tho.

1) When I dial a number there is an annoying beep when I press the call button. I can't figure out how to disable it.
2) I can't seem to "lock" the ring volume controls. I set it for a low volume ring but somehow it keeps resetting itself to ring loud. How do I keep the ring volume at the level I set it? TIA.
