So, I've had my G3 (D855) for about a month now, and I noticed that the lock screen music controls would only appear while some songs are playing, but not the other. When the controls are not there, my bluetooth devices (headsets and car controls) cannot control the music player either.

I like to listen to a podcast during my commute (using Podcast Addict for now), usually while Waze is the active app on the screen, but I've been having trouble pausing the playback or hitting fast forward (to go through commercials) while driving. Seems like the controls on the notification bar are too small and there is no skip ahead button there. Maybe I'm just getting used to my new phone, but I'm coming from a Windows Phone where it seemed a lot easier/safer to do.
Anything that can make the controls overlap the Waze app? Or make buttons larger and more useful after flicking on the notification bar?
Is there a way to control music playing on Moto display?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm listening to music, or more likely a book on my iPhone, I double press the home button to show the basic music controls forward, back, play or pause. Way to often I go to hit pause and accidentally hit one of the other very nearby buttons like skip forward or skip backward. When listening to a book chapter that is 40 minutes long and having no clue where I'm at in the chapter, this can be super annoying. So - is there any way to customize and separate these buttons so that they're not so close to each other? My fingers aren't that fat, the touch separation between these buttons must be about a millimeter. Totally frustrating to lose your place like that. Would be cool if they were far enough away that I could hit the button I want without looking at the phone, or at least the play/pause button was much larger.is there an app that can change these controls, or a way to make a request to Apple?

When i connect my E71 device via the USB cable it shows in the Nokia suite that there is 352 songs on my device in the music libary, however when i go to the E71 and press refresh it only detects 140 songs ( these songs are derived from my memory card 8GB microSD . When i seem to try and refresh it after it had found the 140 songs it constantly has the 'Refreshing. Added: 0.' searching for music. How do i get it to detect the full 352 that it shows in my Nokia suite and that i have in the actual device.

I have installed the "stop the music" app and that removes the controls, but they keep re-appearing. A reboot of the phone also doesn't help.
My speakers aren't playing any music, when I am in a call the other person can hear me but I can't hear them, so I know my microphone is working. Also my alarm, when I set it only vibrates. No sound is coming out of my iphone! It is not on silent, or in silent mode, I have double checked.

I was syncing my phone today, and I realized that my music was taking up way more space than I thought it should. That's when I noticed there was way more music on my phone than I had synced to it. Â
In iTunes, I unchecked the music and tones tabs for syncing, and the bar shrunk down, but not completely. There are 20 songs taking up almost a gigabyte worth of space sitting somewhere on my phone. They're not voice memos because I don't have any of those, and I don't have any other music downloading apps or anything like that on my phone. I can't figure out where these songs that are taking up so much space could be coming from.
My sound controls stopped working. The only way to hear music is through headphones.

I don't know why but my whats app audio keep appearing on my music player list. I have already gone to the media storage folder and put a .nomedia file in the Whats App audio folder, and cleaned my cache. This fixes my problem temporarily but as new audio messages arrive, they start appearing on my music playlist again.
It is annoying to be listening to my audio files when on shuffle.
I wasn't getting any emails and all of a sudden all at once I got 58 of them. I guess they were saved up from all day and they came at once. Then, as of last night, I haven't been getting any emails to my phone. I tried taking out the battery and restarting it that way but that didn't help. I really want to be able to get my emails on my phone, because that's part of the reason I got a smartphone in the first place.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got the HTC One M8 ( I previously had the HTC One X and loved that phone) and I have easily connected it to my car's bluetooth. BUT none of the phone book contacts have loaded. I cannot even get my recent calls (history). So if I want to place a call, I have to dial it manually on the car's keypad...which kind of defeats the whole purpose of voice calling and bluetooth connectivity.
I have done a factory reset of the car's system, disconnected the phone and re-connected it. And all of my contacts are on BOTH my phone storage and my SIM storage (which makes for quite a weighty phone book)!!
The album art does not appear on the phone while transferring music from the Ovi Player.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I went to set an alarm last night for the first time since having the iphone 5c, and for some reason it showed all of my music (including music I don't have on my ipod anymore) when I went to select a song. I was messing around and clicked a few songs I hadnt heard in a while (and don't have synced to my ipod.) Now those bands and songs are showing up in my music. I've also deleted most of these bands from my Itunes completely, so it doesn't work to just uncheck them or d and sync again, they're still there. I tried swiping to delete and was able to delete one song, but the delete button doesn't show up now. I've tried turning "show all music" on and I still can't delete manually, and I'm not sure where these songs are coming from since they're deleted from Itunes.

Ever since yesterday, I am not receiving any notifications for ANYTHING, be it messages, whatsapp, facebook, snapchat etc, I only see I have a message if I click directly into the app and then it shows me i have new text/snap or whatevs. This is frustrating so much!!!!! Ive checked in my settings and I have all my notifications switched on, I even set them as a priority but still no joy! I have also restarted my device a couple of times in the hope that would work but nope ....

Then when I click the Bookmarks icon at bottom of page, the Bookmarks screen comes up under Bookmarks > Samsung account and there are no bookmarks listed.

I am trying to upload music to my iPhone 4 from iTunes. I can see my iPhone under the Devices section and can browser through the various tabs "Summary", "Info", etc. In the Music tab, I check the box to "Sync Music" and opt for "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres". I make my selection and can see the Capacity updating with the selections made. But then the only option I have is to click "Revert". I can see the "Apply" button, but it is greyed out - and cannot be selected. No "Sync" button appears.

Another problem seems to have appeared on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. When I transferred some songs to my phone, When I refreshed the music library, everything is gone. Although, the songs can still be seen in the File Manager. I have tried reformatting twice and still the same.

I use Htc one m8 and a Google nexus 7. I store my contacts on gmail. My question is that all my contact photos show up on my computer and Nexus but some photos do not show on my HTC. The same images are missing from my wife's HTC. These are not large images, some just clipart.

My husband (who has an iPhone) has sent numerous event invites. They aren't showing up in S Planner or in my email. Yet I can send him an invite in S Planner and he will receive it on his iPhone.

From left to right on the front I have what looks like an LED (which never lights up), the camera, the speaker, and another tiny dot. Which one is proximity sensory? I have read that if it is blocked it the phone won't wake up when texts arrive
I purchased an album of Alert Tones off of iTunes, but they appear as music on my iPhone, instead of as tones so I can change my alerts in Settings > Sounds. All of the tones are only 3 - 5 seconds long, so they clearly are not "songs". I cannot figure out how to "move/convert" them to being sounds (alerts), not songs/music. What makes me even more crazy is that if I purchase a single tone, it will go into my Settings > Sounds as an alert/ringtone, but when I purchase the whole album of alert tones, they are saved as music.
