HTC One M7 :: Forceful Notifications Getting Pushed To Phone
Feb 25, 2014
I am using HTC OneS for more than 2 years now, currently running on Android 4.1.1....It had been an awesome experience with this phone so far. Recently, my phone has started to pop up these irritating notifications at almost all my actions that your phone is at risk.. and when I press Ok to see the details, it takes me to some website (soloweb) where it asks me to download an application developed by KS Mobile! Is my phone really at risk..how do these notifications get pushed to my phone every now and then? How can I turn them off.
I have an Antivirus installed on my phone (360 Security from Qihoo 360 Tech Co.) and it shows my phone totally safe. I'm not sure what to do but these push forceful pop-ups are irritating me! there are many other unwanted ads that keep popping up every now and then. To add, my phone has recently started to show some crazy behaviour. When on call, it would keep switching between the call console, home screen, recent apps and what not! It would keep switching b/w windows and not let me gain control over the call console. I lose control over the calls and that is frustrating!!!
My iPhone will now only vibrate when the screen on the right hand side is pushed down. The side of my iPhone has previously come slightly apart (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=881919) which I glued together. But it didn't get the vibrate going again.Anyone know how I could fix this? Or how much I could sell it for whilst not vibrating..?
I have had my phone for a day now and I am falling in deep like with it. But the email doesn't seem to push like a text message. All I could find as far as options was a sync every 15 minutes. But even that's to long. I want my emails instantly. I am using yahoo email.
I can't get gmail pushed to my phone. If I initiate a sycn or go into gmail app and refresh the mail comes through with no problem, but I have to initiate the action. Gmail always pushed gmail to my phone in the past.
My Push seems to have stopped working. If I enter something on my calendar on my computer it doesn't automatically get Pushed to my iPhone. I have the most up-to-date firmware and mobileme setup and have refreshed everything and still no luck. The same seems to be happening with my emails. In order for me to have updated emails on the phone I need to open up the Mail application and only then do I get recent emails.
When I press a finger towards the screen and try to say browse down or up slow, the screen can flicker and go up and down or "wabbling". Its possible tho to just swipe up and down without having the finger pressed, but thats harder to deal with. Since it can be to big jumps when reading stuff.
This however doesn't always happen, so sometimes it works just fine. But more or less its causing problems often, and very frustrating to browse/surf.
I noticed today for whatever reason, my emails are not automatically being pushed to my phone, unless I stay on the mail app. Iphone 4 with iOs 5.1 Exchange Email, Hotmail, and iCloud all exhibit the same behavoir. If mail is mimized it won't send, but if I go in and kill the mail app, then it pops up with notifications and emails just fine.
I noticed a few days ago that my berry has been ever so quiet recently.. it took me a while to realize that it's because absolutely NOTHING is being pushed to it. No email. No facebook. nothing.
I just called to confirm what # in the pre order line I was and they told me 24 then i asked if they knew how many iPhones they were getting and they said that they are no longer getting it in June, but in July now because of the shortages Apple and ATT have, stores like Walmart, RadioShack, BB had their stock cut for launch day.
I have a 9800 running 6.0 bundle 2534 (6.0.0.570) with Rogers. I have an email google email account setup using the bb native support. Actually I have 2 gmail account setup. In the settings I have account A set to synchronize contacts, calender, and deleted items. Account B is set to only synchronize deleted items. I have added a new contact to my BB. I've ensured it's contact list: points to account. I do NOT see this contact when I login to my gmail on my personal computer. I added it several days ago. My email is working great so authentication should not be a problem.
I bit the bullet and got an S5 today! I set up my Exchange email account on it and emails are NOT pushing to my device. I have SYNC on and set to PUSH. I know the issue is not with my exchange service as the emails are pushed immediately to my other devices (an iPad and an iPhone) but not to my S5. I only see the email if I manually sync. How can I rectify this?
This appeared for about maybe 30 mins to an hour and then turned back into the picture I had there before. I unlocked the phone and relocked and turned the sreen on and off and this advertisement didn't go away until finally on its own randomly. And no, no music or apps were running that would have caused this, I checked. Is this some sort of new advertising scheme Apple or AT&T is rolling out?? If so, it's ridiculous!! It's very invasive and instead of being able to see the picture of my son who was 5 states away at the time I had to deal with some lame advertisementEdit: When I first noticed it I was logged into the wifi network of a hotel I was staying at but the image remained long after I left the hotel.
I've been having issues regarding System App updates to my phone..... As well as other app updates (3rd Party)
I've used this to get the "extra+settings" and the "network+" updates using the QR codes BUT I've seen other System App updates that haven't been sent to my phone either.....
Does anyone have the QR codes for the other updates? i.e. the "display+touch" update
When I set up email on the device, I began receiving new email, but not old unopened stuff that was sitting in my inbox. I didn't worry about it because I really didn't want to have to sift through mail that I would have opened already if it were important. Then I went on the BB website and validated my accounts (That step isn't in the set-up instructions, and I didn't initially realize that it was necessary.), and now that old email is being pushed. Some of it has already been opened, so I'm not sure why it's being sent again, but my chief concern is the sheer volume of it. I have over 1500 unopened messages going back a few years, and I certainly don't want all of them dropping onto my BB. So far, I've had two dumps of about 75 messages each-- one yesterday after I visited the BB website, and another when I turned on my device this morning. Is there a way to limit the number that will be pushed, or set a time limit so that I don't get messages that have been sitting on the server for years? The other problem is, they aren't sorting by date of original delivery, so my BB inbox is currently a mess. When I set up my previous BB, I remember getting old, unopened mail, but I thought that it was sorted by date on the device, no?
Emails are no longer being pushed to my 8330 unless I power it off first. When I power it back up, I receive my emails as before. Not sure that anything has changed from previous versions other than downloading latest Desktop manager software.
I have my work email self sort using rules so that messages from certain people (ie the Boss) go into their own inbox, so they don't get missed. However, only the mail from the main mailbox is getting pushed to my iPhone, not the mail from the Boss folder.
I've gone into the Exchange account settings on my iPhone and I have set the inbox, plus 4 other folders to be pushed. However, only the inbox is getting pushed. FWIW, here's the rule: After the message arrives, move messages from BOSS to BOSS folder.
My new emails are no longer being pushed to My iPhone and iPad. It worked until a few days ago and no settings have been changed on either device. New emails are still being delivered to my MacBook. Any reason for this or is there something I can do to fix it?
out of the box my Lumia 920 is not able use my operators data connection. Some days after I started using the phone I got a notification that there is an update to the access point application. Afterwards it worked. But now I had to reset it because I wasn't able to send and receive SMS anymore. So I again have no data connection, but this time the Store is not offering me the update and I can't search for it or install it via the PC.Microsoft wasn't able to help, neither was my operator nor Nokia. Does anybody have an idea what to do? I'm thinking about either changing the operator (to one that has settings on the SIM card) or give away the phone. Punishing the operator for this doesn't sound right to me though.
On my blackberry, when i press the trackball, the pound key and number key show up on my dial number screen and all i want to do is click on one of my applications ive tried taking the battery in and out and
This is a terrible O/S upgrade VERY buggy. Im wondering if Verizon didn't just push this upgrade out to stop all the handset exchanges. I do notice a key pad improvement with .607 but otherwise I think its causing more problems than its worth. It also seems to have a bad memory leak.
I did a battery pull last night and monopoly didn't push through to my phone. Is this a bad thing? My kid likes the game so I wanted to check it out. Do you have to be subscribed to something to have it? I am on verizon. I did notice that social beat or something like that did apear recently. Just wondering.
On Friday the 23rd, Emails stopped getting pushed down to my device. In the Gmail account access logs, you can clearly see "68.171.236.171" checking in every so-often, and that IP resolves to bda-68-171-236-171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the Gmail-BIS link is (homefully) working. After two phone calls to O2, they have told me that there are "500 emails in the queue" to go down to my device. Well, where the hell have these come from, since I have around 180 emails (GitHub and Heroku post-push and post-deploy hooks) waiting in the inbox, and so I am left wondering where the 320-ish emails have arrived from in the BIS queue.Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all of the emails off of the device as it may be too big for emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it didn't work I would have to take it back into the shop I got it for repair. Big unhappy face since the shop we got it from is quite a long drive away and I will be without my phone on holiday next week.
I have a Lumia 1520, and everything is awesome, but lately, the phone acts up in the way that the 3 buttons get pushed out of a sudden and screen becomes unresponsive, when not even holding the phone. Restarting works, but only for a period of time. I noticed if the place where the sensor is, near the earpiece, is clean, it does not act up like this. Phone was dropped once, but the problem did not appear util very later - 1-3 months. I used the Nokia Recovery Tool to install and re-install the OS, problem is still there.

I had a very odd thing happen I had moved 5 or 6 apps to the SD card using the manage apps function on my phone this morning when I turned my phone on the apps that I had moved to the sd card were gone there was a different icon in place of them when i pushed the icon it said that the program was not installed I went back to manage apps function and the app was still listed I tryed to move them back to the phone but it failed so I had to reinstall them from the market now they work just fine again I have alot of PDFs and Docs and Exel files on the SD card none of them were affected I also have links on one of my home pages setup to open up these files and they were not affected so it seems as there is not a problem with the SD card just with the apps that I had moved there.
This never used to happen, but just started in maybe the past couple of weeks:-when I use gmail to send an email, the sent email it now appears on my device as a sent message(with a check mark).I like this because everynow and then I send myself an email as a reminder of something, except that those dont go through as "unread" to the device, just as "sent".Is there a way to turn off automatic retrieving of "sent mail", and turn on retrieving messages I send to myself as unread received mail?
Why is it that whenever i restart my phone or once i plug my phone with the USB,the apps that are stored in the SD card is pushed all the way to the last page? this happens everytime until i have to manually put everything all over againi have set the Arrange Apps to Own Order alrdy and it still pushes all the apps. Another problem is that i have to turn on and off the data plan twice in order for it to work.when i turn it on the 1st time, the icon is there but not connected to the internet
Is there any way to stop app notifications on the phone other than having to bring the app to the home screen then pressing the app to check app info and then selecting stop notifications? This seems so bulky. Like is there another way of getting here?
