View 9 RepliesI have spoken with MANY people on many different forums and have found that the speaker volume and the headphone volume is far too low. I use sennheiser cx500 noise canceling eardbuds and i can't actually get the volume loud enough to even put them to use.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe HTC desire and HT Sync work well with Contacts, Photos and Calendar. But with documents, the synchronisation appears to be from the PC to the Desire and not the other way round. Thus it appears to copy rather than synchronise.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my PC and Galaxy Tab 10.1, when connected to my home router, I get about 1.5 mbps for my download speed. On the HTC I get less than 500 kbps. Anyone any ideas on how I can improve the download speed on the Desire, or is this the speed which it is supposed to operate at?

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI find the call volume very low even in a quiet environment. If outside, I find it very difficult to hear what my clients have said. One fact business people love blackberry is because it has got good call and ringtone volume.N900's ringtone volume is good, but the call volume is just too low. (I have already used the side button to max the call volume, the strange thing is, 50% and 100% make very little difference...)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this today that when I'm playing a song on my phone, the volume buttons act as the media player as well switching to the next song. I would often try to increase or decrease the volume, and I realize I can't. I tried a battery pull hoping that would solve the issue. It's frustrating how a person can't hear music at all, and having no use of the volume buttons. I am still under my 30 day warranty, I'm considering taking it back and exchanging for a new one.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne thing I have noticed with my new iPhone 4 (and I am guessing it is an iOS 4.0 thing) is that my ring volume affects the alarm volume. On my 3Gs, it did not matter what my ring volume was set at, when I set the alarm to go off, it played at full volume which I like. I am always changing the volume on my ringer depending on where I am so now I find that sometimes it is on low when an alarm goes off and now I don't hear it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs the title states my iPhone 3Gs will only output volume at full vome (way too loud on even the tiniest sliver) or none at all (when it is at 0). I've tried using other headphones, restricted the db limit, and nothing seems to work.

My iPhone 4s that I got back in November has two problems, One: the down volume button on the side of the phone is stuck and now doesn't work.
Two: The volume on my phone turns all the way up randomly daily and won't let me turn it back down, the volume icon hardly ever leave my screen.

I'd like notification for emails, messaging, WhatsApp to be silent while phone calls set to mid volume. Is there any app or method that allows this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery app I have that requires volume to listen works fine. But when I close the app, my ringer volume level is still in app mode volume. The app volume completely takes over my ringer volume level although in settings it never really changed. In order for me to get my ringer volume back to it's set volume, I have to go into settings and move the volume up or down. Then and only then do I have control over the ringer volume with the buttons on the side of the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased a second hand HTC Desire HD, it is on 2.3.3 software which although fairly stable, is pants in quite a few ways, such as not being able to take screenshots!!
I cannot find a way to update it atall, phone is not rooted as I ave no idea how to do this and worried that following guides online will brick the phone.
how to update to 2.3.5 or even 4.0.3 (but would prefer 2.3.5) I was running 4.0.3 on my HTC Sensation and it was very buggy.
For the last week or so the phone keeps shutting itself off and restarting only to go into a loop.
I then take battery out and start up again. It will get to the main screen and will just do the same thing again. After ages and ages of messing around it will then seem to be fine.
I've noticed it only seems to do it late in the evening and on the taskbar it keeps showing the gps satalite symbol. If the phone dnt show it then it dnt seem to shut down.
I always believed this phone to be of good reliability but its not. I will be phoning my operator as to me its a faulty phone. I do have anti virus apps which show no problem.
