View 1 RepliesAs a rule images I add to text messages go through without a problem, but there are a couple people I text where images refuse to post.
I have discovered that if they originate a text any images I attach will post in my response. But if I originate the text the image does not post.
Neither of them knows why. They are running with default settings and have never, knowingly, blocked images. In fact they both tell me they get images from other people, just not from me.
Sometimes pictures that are texted to me won't download. A big red X appears on the lower right hand side of the text screen. When I open the message it has the option to download or reject. When I chose download, it doesn't happen. My old "non smart" phone never had this issue.

I've noticed this twice today. I'm in the middle of a conversation in iMessage with another iPhone user. I'm responding to their message, and they send me another before I can finish mine. I see it for a split second, and then it disappears.

Is there some way to back up or save my text messages so that I can remove them from my active messages?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to backup my text messages so that they are in a readable format on my computer so that I can read them or print them. I have a number of pictures that have been sent and some important conversations I need to save; however, they are taking up a lot of memory on my phone and I would like to delete them, but still have access to them on the computer. I downloaded a free program called Appandora, but it locked up every time it started to save the second text message thread. The one that it did save was in a .txt file and was very difficult to read. I do understand that the texts are backed up when the phone is backed up, but I want them in a readable accessible file.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my new X6 on Thursday and so far Im more or less happy, I'm just getting a bit frustrated with the texting as quite often I can be in the middle of a text when the cursor just takes me back to the beginning of the message and I can't stop it or even worse it just starts deleting my message letter by letter?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe text messaging app gone missing after a soft reset. This on windows 10 build 10536. There was lots of apps in the store listed error and could not install, so I did a soft reset. Everything is backed on and few app still could install with error code.
The main problem now is the text message app gone missing. The button display as 'Microsoft messaging', when I click on it says need to download an app then direct to store, but then nothing happens.
Tried to search for a text message today and noticed that it cannot be found. Then I had troubles with exiting to messages list from search window which still read "0 messages found". And then when I pressed "B" to look for the oldest message it showed me that the oldest one is a month old. This is absurd, throughout all my previous blackberries I saved and moved all my text messages to a new device, including the present BBB 9900. The option "Keep messages Forever" has been on since the day one on my every device. The memory is 2 GB free on media card and 5Gb free on the device. Never changed a thing in the settings.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have text messages set to iMessage ok and SMS okay. When a text message fails initially why isn't there a setting that the text will 'automatically' rollover to SMS instead of wasting time coming up with 3 options at the bottom of the screen, including sending as SMS?Â

I am using the Blackberry Storm, I believe the 9530 (its the first gen). Anyway, just recently my text messages only stay for a couple of days and then they delete themselves or simpley disappear.
There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?

View 9 Replies View RelatedAround a week ago I used a friends 'selfie stick'. The same day I was walking around Windsor and noted that the phone had powered down. I tried pressing the power key, but the phone did not turn on. I took the battery out, replaced it and then the phone came back on.
The problem now seems to reoccur when I have put my phone in my back pocket and either walk some distance, or keep it in my back pocket in the car (for some reason).
