Today my sony ericsson x10, my messages crashed and it said an application error. So i turned my phone on and off. When i went back onto messages it had deleted them all.So i decided to try use my backup and restore. However it gets to 50% and then stops.Has anyone got any suggestions on what i could try to get all my messages back?

Ive been a X10 user for a few months now... I havent had any issues with this phone up until now when I decided to use bluetooth. Everytime I use bluetooth, it works for a small period of time and then hangs itself... It simply disconnects and refuses to pair again... This happens with my stereo headset and also with the Wiimote I use for playing games on the phone... At first I thougnt this might be an issue with the headset (which didnt have the best reception, choppy audio and bad quality, specially for an official SE headset) but I really noticed the issue after I started using my Wii remote to play games on the phone since I know the remote works flawlessly on the Wii itself... The problem is that it stops working, refuses to pair again and when I turn off Bluetooth, it doesnt turn on again, no matter how long I try, forcing me to restart the phone... Only to work again after rebooting and hanging again after some use...

View 4 Replies View RelatedLast night I did the update to my phone as i kept getting a msg in the drop down tab telling me to do so.Anyway half way through the update i got a msg saying an error has occured pls restart update.......however the phone is now not working at all.When it comes on i get the sony ericcson across the middle and it then goes to a half black, half green (with slight pattern on the green section) screen and turns itself off after a few seconds.I am LOST without my phone. However LTE signal is fine, I can receive phone calls, and use data to search for near-by restaraunts and overlay results over the black tileless map.There is no visible indication that the phone is no longer sending/receiving txt messages.. other than an angry girlfriend.Once in a while I open up the map app to see if its loading tiles. If not, I reboot the phone and everything returns to normal for a few days, and then problem comes back. It has been this way since I bought the phone three weeks ago.

Brand new devices.I have a problem with auto complete text. Once I transfer language from eng to other language with the keyboard shortcut (alt+enter ) the auto text stops working. Furthermore, the option box just disappears from the menu (options - text and languages ) !. Reset by battery removal fixes the problem.But, onces you repeat the above action the auto text complete disappears again...Some bug is there.... tried it with all 5 devices of my office.I contacted my provider- they were not aware of the problem and I demonstrated it to them. They dont know how to solve it...
