I just got home from the store (the phone was nearly dead had charge it) come home and the camera wont work at all says it fails and closes =/ restarted it more then once.

Having problems with camera settings closing right after it opens? I've tried clearing data/cache. rather annoying since I can't change and of the image and video settings.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI've had my phone since May with no issues. As of a few days ago, my camera app launches upside down. All the icons are upside down and if I take a photo it comes out upside down. If I turn the phone upside down, the app will flip right side up. I can then flip it back and its fine.
Also, if I'm reading something in chrome and it flips to horizontal mode it won't flip back to vertical. The same trick of flipping upside down works or I have to close and reopen the app.
I have restarted and checked the auto rotate setting. I have not tried factory reset yet but may try that. I have a Verizon phone so I can't get to the gyro calibration screen. Any other way to force a calibration?
I'm trying to set up the fingerprint lock on the edge 6. So I've gone to setting and security and all that. I've added both thumbs as fingerprints. And under lock screen type it says fingerprint. Yet every time I lock the screen and hit the home button it says swipe to unlock. Even tho I go back to settings and under lock screen it says fingerprints. What step am I missing? Also I restarted the phone and the first time I pressed the home button it asked for my fingerprint but then after that it went to swipe screen. What should I do to fix this so it's fingerprint every time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn all my other galaxys before this sprint s6 edge in the camera you was able to go to setting and turn the feature to take pictures from a video and go frame by frame at the same time once you press pause on the video. However, on this phone i do not find that option. I have looked everywhere nothing. Did samsung remove that feature?? Or am i not looking in the right place ?

The camera screen appears, and at the top of the camera screen is the settings gearwheel icon along with Auto, Off, HDR On and Effect.But, when tapping the settings gearwheel icon the Camera Settings menu appears for a fraction of a second before the screen reverts. I can't get at the Camera Settings no matter how many times I try; the menu is on for an instant - then gone, and the screen is as before.

Open camera app, the screen is always oriented downwards. It will not take portrait pictures at all - it simply doesn't rotate to portrait orientation.
Open any games, they will only be oriented downwards also.
The accelerometer is functional - tested with a game "extreme car driving" that lets you control steering by phone tilt - worked fine.
However, even that game automatically instantly re-orients itself upside down when you open it.
Screen rotation is toggled on. I have tried with it off, no difference.
Have rebooted several times. Have turned phone off and left it off for an hour, turned back on. Have not tried a factory reset yet... not particularly keen on doing it but I guess that is my next step. Did a factory reset. Didn't work.

Have a severe focus delay when launching the camera?? It takes my camera (& gf's) about 10 seconds to focus. It's like the camera is set on macro when it opens.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I have an S6e and since last week I noticed that when I double tap to launch or launch from the app the camera can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to focus. I try to refocus by pointing it at a few things or touching the screen but it doesn't so anything. I haven't used the camera in a few weeks, could that be it? Sometimes I have to exit out of the camera because it doesn't focus at all but then it still takes a bit to focus on things

After installing the phone from the box all worked fine. Then suddenly message reminder stopped working despite all the settings are correct. After a complete reset (factory settings) all worked fine again for a few days and now again message reminder is not working.
What could be the course?
Is there a way to get the alarm clock to work when my phone is turned off. Or do I need to download a different alarm app to do this. I am using the alarm clock that came on the phone.

Like everything is too bright and my face looks like i have a ton of make up on or i have been airbrushed or something. It is just very weird. I have tried turning the beauty setting to zero and turning HDR off. Still has not fixed the problem.
The back camera does not have this issue, it takes nice pictures. Also, my s4 front camera did not do this, it was a very good front camera. So i feel like the s6 front camera is a downgrade, what happened?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 5S camera opens and closes immediately. My flashlight is no longer on my phone at all as a standard option (it's gone). I am only able to take forward-facing pictures through Instagram and Snapchat.
What I've tried so far -
1.)Regular Reset (erasing nothing),
2.) Restore (took everything off of my phone and then reloaded it by backup from iCloud). Â
I turn the phone on after both and my camera still opens and closes within 2 seconds.

Whenever I try to open the stock camera app it instantly closes then the message "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." pops up. It does this every time even after multiple restarts. I have tried downloading multiple different camera apps as well however it only opens the front camera and has no option to switch to the rear one. I am running 6.0.1

Some of the components of Samsung Kies need to be updated for firmware management.Do you want to update now?"When I click "OK" it closes and never opens again. It also freezes once I open it and the only way to get off of the screen is hitting the home button which freaks the phone out. I have also seen an error message which I did not take down the exact file launcher problem it was encountering.
