View 18 RepliesMy Storm 9500 is 18 mths old. Wasn't happy with the battery - would barely see the day out, so I bought a new one a few months ago, doesn't seem to last much longer. Current OS 5.0 I've had Meterberry on it for several months, set it to reset overnight automatically. Last weekend I installed a new theme I bought from Mobihand, Reflect7 Carbon. Average discharge rate on Sunday was a whopping 15% per hour. Put phone on charge, seemed ok on Monday. Charged Monday night and the battery completely discharged. Pulled the plug out and pulled the battery, plugged back in and it wouldn't charge at all - dead as a doornail. Put my other battery in. Used the phone to make a couple of calls during the day, also watched about an hour of a movie and still had 20% when I got home from work. Plugged in to charger last night and found it dead again this morning, battery won't charge now. That's two batteries completely dead in a couple of days! I'll have to go buy another battery today coz I don't have a phone now. Worried about killing another battery any ideas?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust bought a black Samsung wireless charger. I plugged it in at my office. Its charging but the halo isnt fully lighting up? Just a lil blue light in the front is lit? I have seen pictures of the whole halo lighting up blue when charging and green when fully charged. I can't even tell by the LED lights if its charging since its on my desk and I am looking down at it... only my phone's red lil light on top light lets me know its charging.
View 3 Replies View RelatedLast night I used the official Samsung wireless charger to charge my phone overnight. The battery graph shows it reached 100% at 2am, but then dropped back down to 92% when I picked it up in the morning. The highest battery usage app was "Connection Optimizer" with 2% usage which doesn't seem like a lot. I've disabled it under the "Mobile Networks" setting so we'll see if that works. But somehow I doubt that was causing the drain.
View 24 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 950 doesn't charge well on the CR-201 in car charger. It connects and disconnects every 10 seconds or so, making usual chime, when it connects with monotonous regularity. That's makes a nuisance when bluetooth streaming as the chimes stream too. Flicking to ringer off stops that though.
It charges fine using the DT-910 desk standing charger. So I don't think it's a case issue, though I have a Mozo case on order.
I'm thinking about getting the wireless charger with the D3 but customer service couldn't answer my questions.
Will it work with the extended battery? Does this have a cable on the door that uses the usb port for charging as I've seen some of the add-on solutions?
I Have the beautiful Lumia 920 and I got the Wireless Charger in order to use it in the Office, I found that it's taken too long time to charge my battery, for example today I charger from 45% to 100% in 4.5 Hours!
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday I received 2 Nokia wireless charger as part of the free charger with the new Lumia 920 on AT&T. When I tried to charge my phone it worked just fine, but when I tried to charge my wife phone it didn't charge, her was in battery save mode so I tried charging it with the usb cable until it got out of battery save mode and tried again with no luck.
I tried in both wireless charger devices both phones and had the same result, my phone charged and my wife's didn't. The light in the charger device does light up with no blinking hinting that the phone is charging but there's no notification on the phone side (no sound, battery icon don't change, battery keeps dropping).
The other difference between the two phones is that her's is high gloss red and mine is matte black.
I can't get the phone to charge using the Nokia Wireless Car Charger
I've tried different placements like upside down but can't get it to recognize.
The manual states that the light is supposed to turn off when the device is fully charged. So far, my light on the charging stand has not turned itself off. Has anyone experienced differently?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe back replaces the (extended) battery cover and it a bit thicker and heavier but not bad at all. It fits well on the phone, no issues and the back of the phone remains flat (no uneven raised portions on the cover). The cover connects to the four charing pins on the back of the phone (under the cover) so you don't need any cables that use the usb port as on some of the third party wireless phone chargers.Setup was as simple as changing the back of the phone, powering the charging pad and laying the phone on the pad. I didn't time how long it too to charge but when my phone was down 50% it didn't seem longer than the usb charger. There is an indicator on the pad that lets you know when the phone is not charging (off or not properly placed on the pad), charging or fully charged and an audible that sounds when you place the phone correctly on the pad.
You can feel when the phone is correctly placed as if there's a magnet in the pad and phone back. The bottom of the phone overhands the pad by about 1/2 inch. I was planning to get a picture frame type holder to prop up the pad so the phone can be easily viewed on my desk. With the phone being longer than the pad, it might not work as well as I wanted but I can probably still do it in landscape mode.
I just got a replacement 1020 due to some Bluetooth issues with the other one and now this one is locking up when it is put on the Nokia wireless charging stand. It happens every time I leave it on the charger over night. When I take the phone off the charger it is completely non-responsive. I have to do the volume down with power button hold to restart it.
If I put the phone on for only a few minutes or half an hour it is fine. I also noticed that when I had Glance set to be on while on the charger with "night mode" set to a colour, the phone would act erratic. It would come on, then go off, over and over again. That is, the lock screen would come on, it would fade away and then go to the glance view, then do it all again.
My wife and I both have Atrix 4G phones. I frequently get a Popup window when I unplug the charger reminding me to unplug the charger. This happens both with my 12V to USB adapter plugged into my motorcycle and with the home charger from Motorola. Also, I lose the settings for my home wireless and have to re-enter everything. I've gotten notifications that I'm using up my data plan because I lose my wireless and emails then start downloading over the cell network without my knowing it. I'm about ready to get rid of the so called smart phone and go back to my basic cell phone.

This is on top of the very short battery life I get.I was wondering whether anyone else had suffered with the dying battery whilst turned off problem. If you have did you find a solution to it. Unless I am using the function I turn off wifi, bluetooth, gps etc.I love the Android system and the compact format of the Ray, but I am getting very close it hitting the phone with a very big hammer and switch back to Samsung.

Put the recharged batteries in my husbands phone [same model] and they were fine. Put his battery in my phone instant drain.Did I fry my phone or is it salvagable? View 1 Replies View RelatedSince updating to iOS 5.1.1 I have had battery problems, discharging at around 4% per hour even when not used. Turning off every concieveable service and reloaded iOS as a new device unfortunately has not solved the problem. I have resorted to leaving the phone plugged in all of the time and recently started to turn it off overnight. To my surprise, the phone continues to discharge when turned off!

I have iphone 5s and recently I upgraded it from ios 7.1.2 to ios 8.1.1. I noticed that iphone is heating when no hard processes (like programms or games) launched, and the battery discharges much faster.

Before using charged the phone completely by 11pm - The battery almost drained completely (red) by 8PM on Feb 12. This morning 13th Feb - I completely charged the phone - and 80% has already drained out by 3:15 pm - From the last full charge I have had phone calls totally lasting less than 20 minutes, WIFI is off, notifiers are off except email, and 5 small emails

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy fast charger isn't working, it says the same amount of time left as a normal charger. When it's plugged in though, it still says Fast Charging in my notifications. I've tried all the troubleshooting such as making sure it's plugged in fully, I swapped and got a replacement (problem still happens), etc. I know this is brought up a lot but I can't find any people who have had this problem with similar characteristics
View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems to be working. Any reason why I should pay almost as much for a new car charger as I did for the phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe adaptive fast charger that came with my phone works well with my galaxy s6. Fast charging works well and I can get up to 50% charge in about 25 mins. But the problem is it doesn't charge any other phone apart from galaxy s6. If I plug my htc one or lg g3 or any other phone (even blackberry), it will indicate its charging but won't add any juice. I've tried charging other phones for up to 30 mins, rather than charging the battery % will either stay where it is or sometimes drain. It can't even charge simple things like a modem or even a ps4 controller. I once plugged a ps4 controller and the charging light indicated, but to my surprise after 1 hour of charging it still was not able to add one bar to the battery. In fact if I plug a phone with 2% battery , after 20 mins of charging the phone dies.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWhenever I am using Google Maps for navigation and I plug in my phone to my quick charger, it doesn't actually charge the phone. It just keeps the phone at the same charge level, but never actually charges the phone. I know the charger works, because if I'm not using Google Maps, the phone charges as expected. I'm using a 3rd party quick charger, but that shouldn't matter.
