How long has the little spinning spark symbol been missing up top? I did the ota 2 days ago im guessing that took it off? Or am i not getting spark?Do the spinning star is suppose to be gone?
View 8 RepliesSo i have a sprint s6 with 5.1.1 OBE. I have flashed a kernel for root. I found a video online to make RAM more managable and it had to do with earasing some data in the files and reboot. Now my phone is stuck on a boot loop and goes into the "Sprint spark" screen for like 5 min and restarts. Rocovery mode does not work but download mode does. I was thinking of trying to update with smart switch since there is a small update or maybe re flashing the kernel but i dont think that work and the stock roms for OFE arnt online yet.

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

No other program can use the wifi connection. I have four E71. Tried it on the second E71 phone. Did the same. Permanently, the wifi is on. Tried a deep hard reset and then installed. Same again.

Recently I've bought an Galaxy S6. My ROM is the Stock 5.1.1. It has an icon in the right part of the topbar, right next to the wireless symbol.
It's an icon with a telephone receiver that have some waves coming out of it. I've searched for a solution of how to remove it, but the only one that's close to it it's the Speaker On icon.
I think that the Wifi symbol, when present, should be right next to the 3G/E and not replace it. Most of the time I'm on 3G because of Sweden's excellent coverage however I'd still like to see whether I'm on 3G or EDGE when connected to a Wifi network.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I live in Sweden and bough my phone in June. Had KE2 on it and wanted to update to KE7 with Kies but it wasn't available at the time, so I used a guide on this site to update it manually through odin.
Anyway after that I went away to a place with no good internet connection for 2 months and didn't really keep up to date with this site. Now I'm back home and want to root this phone to improve battery life and get the wiimote app to work.
1A. Since I updated to KE7 using Odin, and not Kies, is it dangerous to root the phone?
1B. Do I need to debrand and update through Kies if a new update is available?
2. Will the Wiimote app work if I root the phone?
3. Is there a guide to follow on what to avoid after rooting so I don't brick the phone?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my bold for about a year now, and just today, the blackberry logo has been missing from where it shows how much reception you have, whether you've got 3G etc. According to my reception bar, I have full signal and 3G but am unable to send emails, bbms etc. I haven't moved in the past year, and have tried doing a battery-pull but to no avail.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently been getting an icon in my HTC One M8's status bar, which is sort of like a pause symbol in a speech bubble. I initially thought it may have been the sleep mode function which can detect when you aren't using the phone so it turns off the data connection, but I turned that off and the symbol still appears.
It only appears for a few seconds when I unlock the phone and then it disappears, so it took loads of attempts to even get this screenshot. Ignore the other icons in the status bar, I've just got my phone plugged in to my PC. The Icon does seem to apear only when the phone is charging, either plugged into my PC or the mains. The symbol I'm confused about is the very top left symbol.
One of the weirdest things I have seen on any cell phone. I tend to turn off the "mobile data" on my Verizon HTC One to save battery, but I have realized that from time to time the 4G LTE symbol is still appearing on the top of the home screen while teh data is off.
Sometimes it disappears in a few minutes and sometimes it remains there for hours (of course, the mobile data is still off). I ran the issue by both Verizon and HTC and no one could explain it to me why. I need to add that in such cases, the internet is not working as expected, but having this icon on the top of the screen really worries my that sth is wrong with this device.
Has anyone noticed that there's no divide symbol on the calculator? I've used 4 different firmware's and it stays he same, whats up with that?

After my 18mo old recently grabbed my phone and played with it for a few seconds, I've noticed something strange. Ever since, whenever I get or make a phone call, up in the upper right hand corner next to the volume indicator is a box with a diagonal line that resembles a chain. What is this logo/symbol?
