i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

I think that the Wifi symbol, when present, should be right next to the 3G/E and not replace it. Most of the time I'm on 3G because of Sweden's excellent coverage however I'd still like to see whether I'm on 3G or EDGE when connected to a Wifi network.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have now on 2 separate occasions noticed that I have had a small lock symbol next to the phone symbol when making a call. When this is showing there is no ringing tone and the call cannot be made. At the same time people have told me that they have been ringing but my phone is switched off which it isn't. Does anyone know what this is as I have looked for this lock symbol in all 118 pages of the manual and can'r find why it is happening.To get rid of it I do the norm switch off the phone and switch it on again and hey - all's well again.

I have what I think is the voice message symbol (sort of like a cassete tape symbol) on my phone.I have no messages.Contacted vodafone aust and they also say no messages and even changed the way they alert the phone to new messages.The symbol is still there.Any way of getting rid of it, or finding out just what it means?

No other program can use the wifi connection. I have four E71. Tried it on the second E71 phone. Did the same. Permanently, the wifi is on. Tried a deep hard reset and then installed. Same again.

It's an horizontal arrow point right to left with a sub-arrow coming off the top of it, pointing in the same direction. Looks similiar to a "h" lying horizontal with the 2 legs pointing west, the secondary leg on top.
I keep seeing the call divert/forwarding symbol appear in the top status bar (a phone handset with an arrow pointing to the right). I cant seem to clear the icon unless I turn the phone hard-off and back on again. I have call forwarding permanently disabled so is this a bug? Is this icon supposed to appear if you just make use of voice mail?

The symbol of moving envelope just came up in the upper part of display and it didn't disappeared since. From that moment I cant send any SMS or MMS, I can receive them but not send. I tried to reset phone, change my sim but the problem is still the same - I cant send sms or mms and the symbol of envelope is still there. My memory isn't full and everything seems to be fine.

On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. Its being displayed for a promotion for I think it was Elle Magazine? They were holding a contest with RIM. Sorry no pics though :-(There was a blue, pink and black version. It worked fine until I have no idea what happened to it a few hours ago. I'm really mad. Is there a way how to repair it without taking it to the service?I'm seriously considering not to buy Nokia ever again. After the repair of the USB hatch, the display gave a problem - and when we told them they seem to have fitted a different display. The display now goes completely dark whenever the backlight is off, and also has very bad legibility in daylight even with backlight.
I don't really trust the service centre anymore, and am going to replace the display myself. I want to ask my friends around if they are dumping any compatible phone - so that I can use their display. Do you know if there are any other phones where same display as N82 is used?
The display SU-29 for my car kit CK-15W in my "new" car was broken by the previous owner due to to the contact tape that was supposed to glue it to the dashboard gave up. How can I get a new display? Resellers in Norway seem not to be very interested. Is it perhaps possible to use the display SU-34 for the sucessor kit CK-600, in that case where to get?

I've tried to get a screen grab showing this but then when I went to look at my screen grabs to show someone, and the screen grabs appeared normal, so definitely a display issue.

I do see the display indicators for this in the top right of the phone but for some reason the text detail when a new text event happens seems to have disappeared. but i don't have this problem with missed call or new e-mail. i didn't have this kind of problem till today and i also didn't change theme or something else...i also tried a soft reset and nothing changed.
