Aug 17, 2015So I connect to a bluetooth device for my car to play music and provide directions. Driving mode somehow got turned on and is annoying as all heck. So basically I want it gone. It doesnt do anything for me, it just randomly resends a notification and interrupts my music and I have had it. How do I disable this terrible feature?

I want to get this back to original stock firmware based on the G920i. The only problem is that I cannot get into Download Mode to be able to use Odin. I have tried all of the hardware combinations and the only thing is does is take me to a Factory Mode, where the options are Auto Test, Manual Test, Item Test, Test Report, Debug Test, Clear eMMC, Version, and Reboot.

May 15, 2015I can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?

Nov 21, 2013I have all my music in the cloud and use Google music to play it. When I am in car mode and say play Madonna etc it tries to open the built in music app which only includes the few sample tracks obviously doesn't work. Is there a way I can make it play via Google music app instead?

However, files do not show in the app when I add them to the SD Card.
The SD card has been formatted in the phone. I'm adding files to this folder directory - Card/Android/data/com.google.android.music/files. Is this correct?

Dec 13, 2011The app works normally in portrait mode (showing artists or songs or whatever I choose) but when I flip it to landscape mode, it just shows the blank grey/blue screen that is the background on the music app home page (where you can choose now playing, library, internet radio, etc.) and it just sits there... doesn't load anything at all.
This is an exceptionally frustrating problem for me as I use my Atrix with an HD dock and the cardock (meaning I have to basically unmount my phone from the car dock to get a different artist. If I use the (useless) music launcher in the cardock home page, I can get to the now playing screen and pick the "smart DJ" button to get a new list of songs, but it'd be really nice if I could choose an artist I wanted to listen to (or a playlist, or a song for that matter) without having to take my phone out of the cardock, flip it to portrait mode, and then place it back in the cardock (quite dangerous while driving I might add)
Motorola Atrix 2 :: Music Player In Shuffle Mode?
Mar 7, 2012I seem to have gotten my music player in a permanent shuffle mode. From the home screen, I select my library, then the artist (I use artist view), then the album, then the first song in the list. If I let it play to the end or hit the "next" button, a random song in the list plays instead of the next song. I'm probably missing something simple but I can't figure out how to get it back to playing titles in order.

I do not know if disabling the mobile internet connection does help, but when at home on WiFi, the problem does not occur. I.e. I have the impression that offline mix radio with mobile internet enabled has open issues.

Aug 18, 2011Additionally it take 55secs to a minute in a half for library to load in portrait. Google music loads snappy, but I like using the stock player for the tunewiki lyrics. I use the music player everyday, several times a day, I keep several gb's of music on it that I update daily so this is a constant issue. In the olden days of OS7 and prior, if I were listening to music while the iphone was locked and received a phone call, the music would resume playing after the call was completed. Since OS8, that does not happen anymore.  Now, if I am listening to a music App and receive a phone call while the iphone is in lock mode, I have to unlock the iphone and restart the music App.Â
This is particularly annoying while listening to music in the car and not being able to restart the App while driving.

Galaxy S6 :: Won't Go Into Recovery Mode
Aug 4, 2015So i recently switched to a new rom from my previous rooted one. Unfortunatly, i forgot to enable developer debugging or oem unlock in developer options before i restarted, so now my phone is in a boot loop. It wont go into recovery mode, or boot into the system. I can only go into download mode. My knox is tripped, and it shows frp lock. So far i tried flashing the stock 5.1.1 firmware using odin, and it fails on nand write. Tried flashing a new bl and cp, but frp blocks it.
Right, model of my phone is SM-G920T
Seems to be when i was trying to flash the original firmware, i got an old one, F6, when the correct one is F8. Went through with odin and seems like everything is back on track!

So far, I know it can be enabled by using ##366633#, but for some reason it's still not working. On the S5 you could enable CP Logging and that would make it functional, but this option is conveniently absent on the S6. I have an SM-G920V.

Nov 26, 2015Dropped S6 in water, turned off and left in rice bag for 2 weeks.
Tried to turn on today and it only boots to download mode, everything else just reboots the phone. Also it will only turn on when connected to USB so i'm guessing the battery is dead also.
My main concern is I have photos that I really want to try and recover and yes I know I know, always have a backup, as a desktop technician I really should have had that setup on my phone but here we are.
So my main target is to somehow get into recovery mode and then use ADB to pull files from the phone.
I've tried to flash many different recovery files but they always fail in Odin v3.10.7, log for Odin is:

Jul 17, 2015I've been messing around with Selective Focus Mode while taking pictures. It gives very interesting results but I've had two issues:
1) I understand that taking pictures under this mode fails often and the camera can only take a normal picture (usually close focus). However, often times I am able to get the near and far zoom parts of the picture but the pan zoom option in the gallery won't light up and is not functional. Is this normal? If so, is it because it just can't stitch together the two focal points in a decent manner?
2) I downloaded a Selective Focus Picture in order to upload to the picture thread on these boards. However, when I click on it, the near zoom is all I see. Do I have to individually save each zoom in the gallery to view elsewhere. Androidcentral would just hang when I tried to download the original file.
