View 8 Replies View RelatedSo close to being done with this phone as much as I like it. I've had so many problems. I now have purple dots on my selfie mode camera. They don't go away and Ive done a hard reset, too. I backed up using smart switch and when trying to restore I am getting an error and can't get my stuff back from smart switch. So frustrating. And even with the reset I still am having the small purple dots.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI don't know if any of you noticed that when entering the Camera app. The display will change to a different display mode even though you are not on "Adaptive display mode"
It happens in a split second upon launching the camera app and upon exiting, you will notice it reverts back to the current display mode you are using. In my case Basic.
I also noticed this only during my recent update to OG8 firmware (Stagefright) update... not sure if it does it before also.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I have a problem since yesterday, i tried to update my nokia e52 firmware, but i do a mistake, when de nokia software updater gives me what are the firmware upda available i didn't notice that is the same version and let him to update. After the update is completed, my camera doesn´t start anymore, i already tried to do a soft reset and a hard reset but my problem remains.
My phone has the following software:
Firmware Version: 022.009
Model: E52-1
Type: RM-469
For some reason my camera does not start up. I'm presented with this message:
"could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening camera again"
Did 2 battery pulls with no success. Recently updated berryweather, but I doubt that's the problem.
Model info and OS version: Blackberry 9700 smartphone (3G,Wi-Fi) 6.0 Bundle 1965 v6.0.0.461,Platfrom 6.6.0.137)Apps: Only what comes as default as reset phoneFree space: Memory card = 1.7GB, Device memory = 27.2MBDid a battery pull fix your issue?: No I'm having a problem with my camera on my phone. The error message is 'Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again.'I've tried to do some research on this problem and all I've found relates to not having enough free space or the camera lense becoming loose. I've checked my free space and I think I have enough and I've tried pressing on my camera lense with no suceess. There are definitely no applications running. I've tried restoring my phone to old backups and then updating but still no luck.
