Mar 7, 2010I'm a new and proud owner of a BlackBerry Curve 8900.I bought this used from a guy and I didn't realize this before til now. This phone is "permanently" password protected, meaning that I need to insert my password every single time I unlock my phone. I tried going to "Password" and disabling this option but there is a red lock beside the option and it won't let me choose Disable, only Enable. I went to TMobile and asked them but they said it's programed into the phone and told me to go back to the guy that sold me this.
I don't keep in contact with the guy who sold me this anymore.Is there ANY WAY to disable this?

All of a sudden a blue screen appeared reading, " A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your Device. It also has a pop up message that says " Confirm Navigation" , and asks me if i want to stay on the page or leave the page. No matter what option i press, the pop up doesn't go away and it hasn't changed since.

Feb 24, 2015Last night my phone started notifying me of SMS messages by a new pop up at the bottom of my screen. I use Hangouts and couldn't find anything in the settings in there so I switched over the the standard android messaging. I turned off all notifications and the pop up still was coming every time I received a message. This almost appears like is a system notification, since it is the same style as other pop ups. (ie: "copied to clipboard" when you take a screenshot) I have attempted to attach a screen shot of the notification. Hopefully it worked. How to disable this notification? Nothing has worked yet.

Jun 18, 2015I need to disable the "Reactivation Lock" to flash TWRP recovery from Odin (failing because of R/L) but everytime I try to turn it off and enter my samsung password it will turn back on. I tried removing samsung account or deleting it altogether but no luck.now I can't receive OTA because of Ping pong root and I can't flash because of R/L. the ONLY way to fix this is to flash the exact same firmware (and CSC) as the current firmware via Odin. I'll never use R/L ever!
