Galaxy S6 :: Finger Sensor Not Working After Flashed Stock ROM
Jan 9, 2016I was having issues with 5.0.2 so i flashed 5.1.1 rom using Odin.
Now my finger sensor doesn't work anymore, message "An error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor....

Galaxy S6 :: Fingerprint Sensor Is Allowing ANY Finger To Unlock Phone
Sep 12, 2015so I've had my Galaxy S6 and the fingerprint sensor has always worked fine. Yesterday it worked great all day long at work, then when I got home, it wouldn't work at all. I rebooted and still it wouldn't work, I cleared cache and data, did the hardware test, and it passed. It still didn't work, so I erased the fingerprints, and retrained my right thumbprint only. Now it seems to unlock with any finger of anybody! As long as they touch lightly, it unlocks about 90 percent of the time.

Jun 8, 2015Today after having my beloved Samsung Galaxy 6 for over a month, the finger print scanner didn't recognize my finger print. I don't have a back up password (or if i do i don't remember it) so I just typed in something so i could sign in with my google account. I typed in my correct email and password but its saying my password is invalid. I know its not invalid because I just used it on my computer. So now i really stuck..what do i do? Do i just wait and go into a mobile store?

Oct 7, 2015I can't seem to get a working recovery after flashing stock images with and without TWRP 2.8.7.1.
I followed these steps to upgrade to Android 6.0 after verifying the md5 checksum of my download:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-hammerhead....img [it looks the same as before, but I did it anyway]
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-hammerhead....img
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
I have also tried with and without flashing cache
fastboot reboot
Then I go back into the bootloader and try to access recovery, but I only get the dead android with the red triangle.
I'm having the same problem with my Nexus 7 (2013).

Dec 25, 2015I installed Xstrestolite Odexed 2.0 version onto my GS6, but since then the stock camera app would not take the location information/Geotag of a photo taken regardless if the location option is on or off. Other camera apps such as Google Photo and Procapture, however, would.
Part of the ROM package includes the stock Samsung apps that can be selectively installed back. I'm assuming the location functionality is related to one of these stock apps. How to resolve this?

May 25, 2015Everytime I press the power button on my Samsung to wake it up, it automatically comes up with the 'no match' message, thinking that there is always a finger on the button, meaning it instantly sends me to the back up password screen.
When on the fingerprint set up tab in settings it still thinks that a finger is placed on the home button, if I try to add a new fingerprint I can leave my phone laying down without touching it and the phone starts adding up in percentages as if I was adding my own fingerprint, yet I'm not even touching it.

I restarted the device, upon restart the finger print scanner was enabled upon restart. but once i return back to the lock screen it is gone. Why they wont stay enabled or enable at all?
Figured out it was set to only enable after 10 mins of no activity.

Jun 25, 2010Noticing someting wierd with my new iPhone 4 - the proximity sensor doesn't seem to work well (or at all..)When the phone is up against my ear or if I'm cradling the phone between my ear and shoulder the proximity sensor should disable the screen and touch controls until it detects that I've pulled the phone away from my head. My iPhone 3G excelled at this. My iPhone 4 however seems to want to keep the screen on at all times, causing "cheek dialing" issues, mostly trying to initiate FaceTime.
Anyone else experiencing this?
