Galaxy S6 :: Scrolling Down Emoji Is Not Smooth
Dec 13, 2015I don't know if I'm the only one but for some reason my s6 is lagging like crazy when scrolling down emoji it's not smooth at all and I don't remember how it was when I got it but I know that it stays the same no matter what rom or kernel. Otherwise the phone is very smooth and fast especially on custom kernels and Roms even the benchmark shows nothing unusual.

Oct 6, 2015I came across the app Emoji Font for FlipFont 1 that allows you to change the emojis on your device to the iOS emojis without rooting by changing the system font for the phone. The only problem is that it also changes the text font to an extremely ugly font that is much more difficult to read. If it's possible, how to modify the apk file for me and change the font it uses to the default font on the galaxy s6 and send me the apk file to download and install.

Nov 27, 2014I have a GalaxyS5 running on 4.4.2 (the latest from my carrier) I've never been able to see emoji in texts. It didn't bother me until recently when it seems everyone has gotten on the emoji bandwagon.
I can send emoji and I can see them and everyone else can see them just fine but when they send them its just jibberish on my end.
I've tried a bunch of different apps with plugins and no dice. I've also scanned the phone through AVG and there's no virus.

Jun 18, 2015I was able to turn off the Emoji suggestions (aka when it puts a grey bubble around text that has a corresponding emoji) when I first got the phone, but they seem to have returned and I can't find a way to turn them off again.

Nov 5, 2015Before I updated my phone, at least 3 days ago, my emoji icon would work. Even if the keyboard was open. But now, if I press the emoji icon, even using the default theme for my phone it lights up and nothing comes up. Any of my old contacts who had emojis still do but I cannot edit and add more or create contacts with emojis. I'm not sure why but if there's a solution that would be great! Also, I'm using SwiftKey keyboard.

Jun 21, 2015I've had this problem for a while, but with the new iOS emojis, it's become even more obvious. In some messaging apps such as Line and Kakaotalk, if an iPhone user sends me an emoji, I get a blank square instead of the emoji, even though when I copy and paste into Google and search, the emojis show up in the browser. This is a very tedious workaround, though, when I want to just see the emoji and be able to respond right away.
Is there any way I could fix this and have it show the emoji? My S5 is unrooted at the moment but I don't mind rooting it if it is part of the solution.
Galaxy S5 :: Contacts Not Loading After Update?
Mar 30, 2015My galaxy s5 went under an automatic update last night to 4.4.4 and now my contacts are stuck. The contacts list won't load and keeps saying "updating contact list." Once in a while a message comes up that says "unfortunately, contacts has stopped." I've tried everything short of a factory restart (which I don't want to have to do) . This update is terrible, I have slow speeds, freezing screen and the contact issue.

Aug 26, 2011I play a game called Haypi Kingdom on my phone which is quite addictive. The problem I have however is not with the game itself but with the images it has put on my phone to run itself, they seem to have 'inbedded'into the system on my phone so when for example I go into my camera I have a Haypi symbol on the bar at the top and then when I close it and its between closing an app and going to the main screen or vice versa the Haypi Kingdom shield and sword and severaL motifs appear briefly.I have tried removing the game to get rid of this but it still happens even when its not installed now, its like as if its installed a Haypi Kingdom theme to my phone! I like the game but not so much that I want to see it all over my phone!

Jun 12, 2010I installed the Emoji-free app (IIRC from the official app store), and while I can send texts to myself I can't to other iphones. I get the error "Free Msg: Unable to send message to XX. Please try again without a symbol in the text."
Does the recipient of the text have to have Emoji installed as well? Or is this a T-mobile/jailbreak thing?

So I tried typing the same message again and a noticed that when I use emojis the character limit changes from 160 to 70. This happens on my One m7 with the HTC keyboard, Google keyboard, swiftkey, android l keyboard, and fleksy. Only keyboard it doesn't happen with is swype but I would hardly call swype's 15 face options emojis.

Sep 9, 2014Actually this problem happened when it was a new iPhone. I am using iPhone 5S and iOS 7.Firstly, I have to say I am sure I already installed the emoji keyboard.
At the begining, I cannot see the emoji when in lock screen, they all change into '!!', but fortunately I could see it inside the app. So it did not confused me. The nightmare was happened after I updated my whatsapp today, all I received emoji inside the app also change into '!!'. However, I could see emoji send from an iPhone. So now I am wondering wether is my phone's problem or whatsapp's problem.
