Me and my husband just recently bought an samsung galaxy s6 his phone isnt having any problems but mine is i keep seeing 2 types of android icon in my apps and i know they weren't there before can you tell me exactly what im suppose to have on my phone or did some one add to it..
after installing the Android 5.1.1 update on my Galaxy S6 edge almost all home screen icons have disappeared, even the bottom ones like phone, contacts and messages. The apps icons in the app drawer have also completely disappeared. The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.
I walked on the street and after 5minutes i heared a sound and tbe phone entered in a lot of apps and my icons are now more little than from factory ..... What can I do to enlarge them back ,cause the font size is how must to be but the apps are more little.
We have two identical Galaxy S6 Edge and the default icons (i.e. messages, email, gallery etc.) look completely different. Mine is the standard icons and the other has smaller more "bubbly" looking icons. I've tried searching for a fix on the web but nothing has worked so far. I've seen you should be able to edit icons by long holding them down but this doesn't work.
I booted my phone in safe mode and when I returned into normal mode many of my apps' icons are missing. They are missing both from the home screen as well as the app drawer. They are still installed. I can open them through Google play and I still get notifications. I tried a cache partition wipe with no luck. how to get them back?
After my recent SD card swap, I've run into a problem. I have a few apps that show as not installed, and are no longer on offer at the play store. Unfortunately, the icons for these apps still appear in my app drawer. If I hold one and try do delete it, I'm told that system apps cannot be deleted. Trust me, Cookie Crush is not a system app.
Any tips for getting rid of these icons and cleaning up the app drawer?
I used Ultra Power Saving Mode last night for about an hour. When I reverted back from that about half of my icons were missing including my stock Voicemail, YouTube, Yahoo Mail, all my games...etc.
Looked a little further into it this morning on Application Manager and the apps are still present on the phone and installed, but "Turned Off". If I tap on them, some have a button that says "Enable" (which appears to be all the pre-loaded apps that came with the phone) but most of them don't.
I've used Ultra Power Saving Mode as recent as two weeks ago with no problem.
I am trying to extend battery life and kill some native apps. One that shows as a big battery drain is Geo News but I can't find the app to uninstall it. When I go to the Play Store it only gives me the option to install it. This is on my Galaxy S5 which I've had since November and the last couple of weeks I've been going through the battery huge. Trying to follow all the advice here to delete and disable, but so far not terribly successful.
I have had 2.1 for a few weeks, and must say I didnt think I was missing anything having 1.6. But its like having a new phone now I have 2.1 I love it.
But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidently go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realising it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disapeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?
All of my apps show up in iTunes and I can see the layout of the 3 pages worth of apps icons. After syncing, some app icons are still not showing up on the iPhone. I've tried Reset Home Screen Layout, Reset ALL, Restrictions disable.
I've had an iPhone 4 for about a year. For the past several months, I've been having a problem with all of my apps disappearing. Some are games but I've paid for and installed others. They download fine and work fine but about once a week, all of the icons just disappear! If I go to the app store, I can install them again and some have the content/information but others don't.
I want to see calendar and tasks on my home screen. I also want to be able to access other apps from therE. So far I have tried agenda view, today view, see tasks in calendar. Tried both viewS on the Zen screen. The only thing I've managed to do is. Delete one of the. 3 message icons.
Is it possible to rename the icons for apps that I've installed?
I recently added "Business Calendar" but the icon shows up as "Business C" where the "C" looks like a crescent waning moon (or New moon in the Southern Hemisphere)
I'd like to be able to rename it to just "Calendar", if that is possible.
Some time ago some of my apps have swapped icons! E.g. Angry birds has now the Sláinte icon, Stopwatch has the Public transport icon etc. See the attached image. The apps start as they normally would and the titles are correct, but with the wrong icons. It's a Nokia N8 with Belle.50 Mb left on C-drive, 2,7 Gb left on E-drive.
I just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?
Missing all icons . Limited apps. I can get to a few applications by hitting call button then going to menu and switch applications. Guy at ATT store suggested I try this Web sight. They had no solution for me at ATT.
I have touch BB curve 9380, suddenly the options in any app have disappeared. E.g: Messages have no option of forward, reply etc., getting highlighted.
I want to see calendar and tasks on my home screen. I also want to be able to access other apps from therE. So far I have tried agenda view, today view, see tasks in calendar. Tried both viewS on the Zen screen. The only thing I've managed to do is. Delete one of the. 3 message icons. What do I do?
I have a torch 9860 running os 7.0, and am looking to rearrange the on-screen icons. I can move the factory installed icons like the BBapp world icon, but icons for apps I have downloaded cannot be moved. When I select the icon of the 3rd party app i want to move, and press/hold the BB button, no menu with a "move" option appears.
My phone has lost most (not all) of the apps icons on one of my profiles. All of the stock apps stayed intact but the majority of the downloaded apps have disappeared. The app is still in the main menu and works fine.
I upgraded my whatsapp messenger and then my apps world and since the the icons of both have vanished from my blackberry torch screen. All attempts of retrieving the same have failed. I even reinstalled the apps world and whatsapp messenger but the same result. Have done hard reboot also.
How can I edit/replace apps in provided car dock menu? I know there are several 'add app here', but, like provided radio tuner is not much good here in AUS so I wanted to replace it with 'tunin' that works well, and, has local radio stations.
Is it possible somehow to move a certain app (icon) on the home screen without changing of the positions of the above icons? Hope it's possible still!Â
I had an authorized seller replace the broken screen on my iPhone 4S, but now the bottom dock of icons is unresponsive. Weird thing is that I can't access the icons on the dock, nor open the lantern / calculator / clock / camera on the icons when I pull up the quick menu, but aside from that, that part of the screen works ... I can use the keyboard completely, you name it, everything except the icons on the dock and the bottom ones on the pull up menu ! Â
The guy who fixed my screen said it must be a software glitch, but I've restarted and restored the phone (from backup and as a new one) and the problem is still there !Â
Any chance he messed up something while changing the screen ?Â
Also, iPhone isn't (and has never been) jailbroken or anything of the sorts
