Google Nexus 5 :: Voicemail Icon Does Not Disappear
Dec 1, 2014Currently have a Nexus 5 running Android Lollipop and after someone left me a voice message, I have been unable to get rid of the voicemail icon, even though I don't have any messages at the present time. I already tried leaving/deleting a new voice message, icon remains.

Aug 27, 2014Dropped my two week old Nexus 5 on the ground... if you look at it, everything looks fine. Apps work, wi-fi works BUT I can no longer pick up a mobile network. It just shows a black signal (black triangle where the signal bars would be). I try to go into Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Operators to Search Networks or Choose automatically and it just searches but can't find anything. I can't figure it out. Everything seems to be OK but I can't get a mobile network. I took it to a cell repair place but they couldn't figure it out after opening it up.

Jul 4, 2012I've had an iPhone 4 for about a year. For the past several months, I've been having a problem with all of my apps disappearing. Some are games but I've paid for and installed others. They download fine and work fine but about once a week, all of the icons just disappear! If I go to the app store, I can install them again and some have the content/information but others don't.

Google Nexus 6 :: LCD Replaced Now Shows Icons And Boot Screen In Triplicate?
Sep 8, 2015I dropped my Nexus 6 a few weeks ago and it cracked the top left of the glass. I attempted a glass replacement and ended up shattering the LCD. I bit the bullet and ordered a new LCD. I connected the new LCD and booted the phone up. The Google boot screen comes up fine, but once it goes to the spinning orbs before you get to the UI, the screen triples the icon and once it fully boots everything else is in triple as well. Once booted into the UI, there is also a strip about a half inch high that is nothing but colored static dots. The rest of the screen is normal, but basically unusable because of the tripling effect. I would like to attach some pictures but I am not sure how.

Dec 5, 2015I have a problem that my WiFi network disconnects and disappear from the list. Even if I search for network it will not show up. It looks like a lot of the other WiFi networks around me is also missing when this is happening. It will suddenly come back again and work as it should for several hours.
I have i locked to 2,4GHz, WiFi always on, scanning is on.
Had the same problem when I used Auto 2,4GHz/5GHz.
All other devices is working as they should. Have also reset the wireless router. (Netgear X4 R7500)
Google Nexus 5 :: Icon On Top Of Phone Keeps Changing From LTE
Nov 28, 2014Got a used, but mint N5 the other day, stock unrooted running 4.4.4. Popped in my AT&T LG G2 SIM, and all was good for a day. Today, i've noticed that the icon on the top of the phone keeps changing from LTE, to H, and sometimes to NO SERVICE, although the last one changes back after a few seconds. Is this normal, or should i get the SIM card replaced? I live in a 4G LTE area, and never had this problem with the LG G2. Maybe it's a setting issue within the phone? i truly love this phone. The only app that i've put on this phone is Light Flow, just to change the color and speed of the notifications.

Dec 26, 2011Something real strange happens when I turn my phone off and on again or if it reboots for any reason.Three (all Android Market apps) of my shortcut icons on the home screen are replaced by a blue generic looking icon. They still work as shortcut though. The way to fix this is to delete them from the home screen and then set up a new shortcut: The app icon shows up as expected.......... until the next time I turn off my Razr. Annoying to say the least.

Mar 17, 2014So last week I was off on March break with my family and I took several pictures Tuesday and Wednesday on my phone of my kids, even remember showing a few of them in the evenings to my wife. Realized I forgot to turn on "auto backup" to google drive (or whatever it's called) and turned that on at some point mid-week.
On Friday I went out with my son and snapped a few more pics, and realized all the pictures I had from Mon - Wed were gone. Not in the Gallery app, not in the Photos app, and now that I'm checking with a computer, I simply can't find them anywhere on the phone at all.
I certainly didn't go through each photo and select "Delete" or anything like that! Unless there was a delete all button that I somehow clicked accidentally (which would seem really odd) and deleted all photos from the camera itself (it's a new RMA'd camera so all I had were the photos from Mon-Wed).

This means people could pick up the phone and add pictures (and also so far this morning I've taken a photo of the side of my leg as I've taken the phone out of a pocket).

I'm rooted with the stock ROM and Trinity Kernel (which I think may be the culprit, I'm not going to read 1,000 responses on a thread in a different forum to find out). To my problem: whenever the phone is off and plugged in my laptop's USB port or the travel/wall charger, the initial charging icon that shows the battery's level does not disappear. Even when I have unplugged the charger, the icon stays until I boot up the phone.

Jan 7, 2010I have a nokia 5530 xpress music mobile - (Christmas present) and was wondering when any new firmware is going to be released; The native browser just closes on its own (sometimes active sometimes inactive) The phone is a little slow loading up and menus (know this may be down to apps etc and memory card) The shortcut icons disappear sometimes from the homescreen (causing a reset to rectify) and when I change them the shortcut on the far right changes itself back to facebook The phone sometimes gets stuck on a white screen at startup which can only be solved by removing the memory card and starting up then reinserting There are a few more minor things but they don't really matter but I have noticed the touchscreen can be quite unresponsive needing quite firm touches or repetitive touches (yes I know some things require double touch) I was also wondering why my phone keeps disconnecting from the wifi source (I have a standard home router) - I know some routes 'refresh' themselves however I don't have problems with my computers or laptops (yes I know its different hardware) Done get me wrong its a good phone, with great features and I am not complaining however I just expected less obvious faults not ones that can cause disruption in normal day-to-day use URL...

Jul 23, 2014Got to the end of a run today and my RunKeeper app was locked up. I finally got it to close, but then the phone started rapidly and constantly cycling through apps and screens, even moving apps and widget around. It's like an invisible person is constantly touching and dragging their fingers across the screen. Holding down the power button for 5 seconds got it shut down, but when restarted, it resumed it's app cycling. I could have gotten some sweat (from my run) on the volume buttons or down in the headset jack, so I stuck it in a bag of rice to cover that possibility. A factory reset is an option I can explore later tonight if no other suggestions are made.
