If I press a character immediately after pressing backspace (on the default Samsung keyboard), the backspace triggers twice before adding the character. If I take a moment between backspace and the next key, it is fine, but if they're hit in rapid succession, then this happens.
Before today my phone had this really cool feature where if my phone autocorrected a word, then I could hit the backspace button immediately after and it would revert the word back to its original form. But now it updated last night and that feature is gone.
Am trying to set up driving triggers on SA but nothing seems to work. Would like Pandora (and/or Google Nav) to come on when the phone BT connects with my motorola handsfree carkit and tunelink. I have wifi and gps locations settings turned on. Tried disabling all other SA settings (work, home, sleep SAs work great) with just the driving SA enabled but no joy on all counts. D Razr Maxx.
I'm rinning version firmware V50.0.005 and have just updated to the latest Ovi Sat-nav. Now when one of my alarms triggers it won't shut off. Pressing stop on the screen gets a response from the hand set (it vibrates) but the alarm just keeps on playing.
We updated to Motocast 1.3.9 and AVG Antivirus immediatley flagged the MOTOCAST-THUMBNAILER.EXE as a virus, deleting the file and moving the program to the virus vault. As there is clearly something going on that triggers protection, we are uninstalling the program and will wait until we are advised that the program exhibits safe behavior. We suggest that you fix the program, or IF it is safe, contact AVG and other Antivirus vendors so that this program is not flagged in error.
I am using an iPhone 5S. I have a persisting problem since I updated to iOS 8. When I create a new contact, and when I press backspace to correct a mistake in a field, it deletes the required letter but jumps off to the next field. For example. If the name is "John Evans" And if I typed Johb, when I click backspace, it becomes Joh, but the cursor goes to the "Last name" field automatically. I thought they will rectify it in 8.1.2. But the problem still persists.
My C7 froze to the point where it was necessary to pull out and reinsert the battery.
Unfortunately now I can't turn it back on. Pressing POWER button triggers vibra, but the screen remains dark and nothing happens after that.
I tried removing the batteries, plugged it in the wall, removed SIM card, I also tried hard reset key combination suggested in in this thread (Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key and press power button).
On a general note, the phone was freezing a lot. I noticed that especially when trying to connect to my work wlan (not very stable hot spot).
My Milestone's backspace button sometimes doesn't work and sometimes neither does the charging port (doesn't recognize it should be charging?).I'm going to exchange it tomorrow but wanted to know if anyone else had such issues?
not much difference in the galaxy family that i can imagine (although i haven't dug around to know exactly) but besides the fact that there is no where to place the stylus on the S2, will the stylus or "S - Pen" as i've read it called work with the phones? or is there something more technical involved that will not allow this to work? and if it does work, where do you buy one (or two or three as replacements) ;-)
My Galaxy S II has the annoying habit of having its screen go into idle or sleep mode and then blacken when I'm on a call. I want to have the "Phone" screen showing up at all times when I'm on a call, so I can access the speakerphone, etc. Is there a way to "lock" the screen in "Phone" mode when I'm on a call?
how I (in the simplest possible way) can use my pc as a secondary screen to my galaxy sII? I want my screen on the phone to be mirrored on the computor, so I can show (i.e.with a projector) my actions on the Samsung to an audience.
Whatever car app I am using on my S6 it will open BT but not autoconnect to my htc stereoclip bt receiver in my car. I have unpaired and re-paired many timed. The only solution is to shutdown the bt receiver and restart it, why is the S6 not connecting by itself when the app ask it to?
I just got a G920F from an aunt at UK, so I have a Vodafone version of the phone, but when I received it, every app is crashing, I mean every app. Like Facebook, Google Play, Google+, Messenger, Instagram, everything.
I tried flashing the stock rom so I flashed G920FXXU2POGJ, a vodafone 5.1.1 stock rom and it still crashes. Btw the camera doesn't crash so it's okay. But everytime I use facebook, shareit, app crashes. So, flashing the stock rom wasn't useful. The next thing I did was flashing G920FXXU2BOFJ, a UK international 5.1.1, because I assume I cant downgrade the android version (just like in i9505). and everything still crashes.
I flashed 5.1.1 a few days ago and it has been pretty bad, for some reason whenever I flash France firmwares, my mobile data gets capped to 67 kb/s max, it doesn't happen at all on any other firmware I try, I tried settings, apn's etc, nothing has worked, now i want to flash back to 5.0.2, I downloaded four 5.0.2 firmwares and none of them work, apparently you cannot downgrade with odin (?), Is there any way out of 5.1.1?
I know how to set a Picture to PRIVATE. I read that we should be able to also Hide (Private) APP Icons as well ... I tried long-pressing on an APP Icon but the only option is to REMOVE it.
I seem to be caught in between a rock and a hard spot When ever my wife sends me an MMS on her I-Phone 5 I get the text immediately, but if she includes a picture it takes up to 25 minutes to get that picture in the galaxy default messaging app. We are on an AT&T Plan with unlimited texting in the Pacific North West. This is an ongoing problem since the release of the galaxy 6. I called my AT&T guy and he says it's an ongoing problem with I-Phones and Galaxy phones and as far as he knew there was no fix yet. I would like to be able to receive text and pictures (mms) from an I-Phone without having to wait 20-25 minutes for the picture to be downloaded. Also, If I chose to have Wi-Fi turned on, the picture never comes in on my phone, I have to turn Wi-Fi off to even receive the picture at all.
Transferred my phone number from an AT&T iPhone to an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Active last night. Voicemail requires a password but I don't have one (never had to enter one on iPhone). I tried calling the AT&T number and they say I am not authorized because I changed out the SIM card (which they did at the store) and to try again later then I am cut off.
I've tried android file transfer, kies, smart switch, and none of them work for me. I'm not really sure what to do. My phone acts like it is going to connect to AFT, but it ultimately fails. It will say no android device found, can't connect to android device, etc. But very rarely it will actually connect correctly, but after 20 seconds it will disconnect without me doing anything. While my phone is connected to my mac AFT continuously tries to connect to the phone, the app keeps opening after I exit it (after it fails).
I've tried connecting to two different macs, and both of them have the issue with my phone. My phone does successfully charge with usb, so that is working. It just isn't being correctly connected for transfer, and whatever else.
Lately I have noticed that my S6 gets very warm when doing simple tasks or even watching a video on YouTube and will then sometimes show that it is going into cool down mode. I think it may be the RAM as it is always high and may make my phone lag at times. My phone did not come with Smart Manager so I cannot end excess RAM. Is there a good app that I could use to end excess RAM and keep my phone from getting so warm?
So I just got my phone and I initially skipped the tap and go process of restoring apps from my S4. But I'm ready to do it now and can't find a way to start they process.
